When my husband first suggested camping, I suggested a divorce, but I was amazed at just how much I enjoyed it.
Of course it does help if you've got the weather, but also perhaps most importantly a tent like this really helps.
The Wynnster Cambrian tent, is a real good family tent, When stating how many people tents will hold, I personally think these are a bit over the top if you want to be comfortable, If you've got a family with 2 or 3 kids, I would suggest a tent such as this 8 man tent, as the extra space is a good advantage.
Standing height in the main living area is 210cm, which is ample room for the average person.
Its weight is 25.65 Kilo so is quite a weighty item, and definatliey not one for the average backpacker, But I found fits comfortly in the boot of the car, after all it is a Family tent.
This is a dome design tent with a fully fitted integral ground sheet to assist keeping out creepy crawlies.
There is a large front opening door, with a smaller door at the rear of the tent.
The Flysheet is Waterproof polyester coated with fire retardant. The inners are also fully fire retardant and breathable polyester, but although fire retardant certainly does help, commonsense is a big aid, so be careful as with all tents.
Not like the old heavy poles, this tent comes fully fitted with new durable fibreglass poles and shock resistant cord.
The tent I have is of standard colour of pine and dove grey mix, which actually makes it look very smart.
We went camping with this tent in Aberystwyth in mid Wales to a place we now fondly call Tornado alley, Honestly for 2 days we were battered by Strong wind Heavy rain and even an Hail storm, But the tent did it's job and kept us safe dry and warm.
It is quite simple to erect, but it does need at least two people, the reason we found was because the poles which have to be bent and secured can sometimes be a touch difficult to control for one alone to handle.
For fun Family Holidays I really recommend this as a good all-round sturdy tent.
