I purchased this about a year ago and was pretty impressed with it. With the set you get a 7kg barbell bar with 2 spinlock safety locks, 2 dumbell bars with 4 spinlock safety locks and plates that go up as: 4 x 5kg, 4 x 2.5kg, 4 x 1.25 and 4 x 0.5kg. The barbell and the dumbells have good grip sections on them however form blisters on your hands if used a lot, therefore I would suggest purchasing some good quality York weightlifting gloves to prevent this.
The spinlock safety locks are good if you tighten them really tight, however they easily gradually unspin if you do not tighten them enough. Also in my opinion the weight of the plates could be in higher weight value, like 4 x 7.5kg just so that people who like to add extra weight can do as it is difficult to get many more than 2 plates on each side especially on the dumbells.
I would recommend this weights set to anyone who is just starting weight training or bodybuilding, as it is easy to set up and isn't too advanced, especially when talking about the weight of the plates.
The price of the set is between £50 and £60 I believe, depending on where you purchase it from (I purchased my set from Argos catalogue) . I would say this is good value for money, but not exceptional as I believe there are better weight sets out there from companies like powerhousefitness and Gold's.
