Advantages: Can support 200kg so good for the big guys. Disadvantages: Butterfly wings get in the way.
The York Folding bench is an incline bench which can be easily adjusted to give 4 different angles of back rest, It also has a detachable leg extension attachment which is great for doing leg curls. It has 2 safety hooks for the barbell bench press which is a must if you are working out on your own and don't have a spotter. It has 2 butterfly attachment which just get in the way and nobody ever really uses them. The maximum total weight it supports is 200kg including body weight so it is good for the heavy lifters.
My opinion on the bench is:
I think it is really good its durable and comfortable, it can be easily folded up to hide away in a corner. I have had a lot of use out of mine and its still going strong. Its very sturdy and is built with thick metal tubing. Its defiantly worth the wile buying it, it costs around 89 ...

Advantages: Great value for money, plenty of weights Disadvantages: Takes a while to build, inability to add additional weights
use it would be.
I had been looking at getting back to a gym but never got around to it. The decision was made to buy a multi-gym.
****Choosing the correct multi-gym***

How much weight is required to achieve this? (determines the size of the weight stack) What exercises do I need to do to achieve my goals? How much am I willing to spend? How much room have I got available.
Once the type of gym has been narrowed down it is then important to look at manufacturers, such as York, Weider, Marcy, Powerline, V-Fit to name but a few.
I found this process an arduous task and decided to ask someone who knows. I discussed my requirements with a chap at Fitness Superstore who ...
Advantages: Good set of weights, comes with a excercise planner Disadvantages: Badly made Locking collars
A while back, about 1 year ago I decided to buy some York weights, 30kilos to be exact.
I got home and unpacked the weights, read the instructions on how to piece the whole lot together then started using them.
The set comes complete with:
2 Dumbell bars
2 Outer Barbell Collars
6 Vinyl Locking Dumbell collars
2 plastic Dumbell sleeves
6 x 1” Round internal Caps
2 x 4.5kg Vinyl disks
6 x 2.3kg Vinyl disks
4 x 1.1kg Vinyl disks
2 Training charts
This was all very well but the Locking collars, which were made of Vinyl were a serious design flaw, two of them broke at the nut because they were so feebly made.
Although these are very good weights, at a good price and I have been able to make good use of them that design flaw should have been considered before distribution took place.
The total cost of the weights was ...
