Advantages: Good supernatral series, unique Disadvantages: Not very deep
I wasnt sure what i was going to make of hex,it was said to be the english version of buffy so that sounded like something for me.
It starts with too friends at a boarding school one is a lesbian i guess it adds intrest and the other is kind of sweet, more conservative and her mother is in a mental hospital, she starts getting some odd visions and meets astrange man on the school grounds shortly after she sees the man murder her best friend but doest seem sure if its real or not, it is real and soon she realises she is in great danger from him as he claims to be a angel gone bad luckily as her supernatrual abilities develop she is able to see her murdered friend as a ghost and the two set out to stop him.
I found this to be very differnt to buffy ,its one story divided up over different episodes and it has a totally different feel to it ...
Advantages: Great storyline, fantastic characters, enjoyable, different Disadvantages: Didint last long enough, but is back for a second series!
I have always been a bit of a secret vampire novel lover and I really enjoy watching the vampire and fantasy drama classics. Hex on Sky One has already played its first series last year on Sky One during October. I'm hooked now and am definately not going to miss one second of the new series. If you still havn't seen the first, either buy or rent it on DVD before you watch the second series. It may make the storyline a bit easier to follow. A series about witchcraft, magic, sex and a fight between good and evil it is not to be missed!
Hex is set in a boarding school in a rural part of England. The lead character, Cassie is sent there after her mother suffers a nervous breakdown and becomes mentally unstable. A shy, timid girl, she finds herself at the mercy of the school jocks, suffering taunts and humiliation at her attitude ...
