...I bought this treadmill from Tesco Direct about two years ago and it is still going strong.
It sits beside my desk and folds upwards which is great for keeping it out of the way. It is then easily opened using a key on the side and the main belt drops down to the floor.
It has different speeds and also preset programmes which challenge your fitness by speeding up and slowing down at different times.
It is very sturdy and has an emergency cut out switch that you can attach to your clothes and a drinks holder.
The only thing I miss is the incline which you have to adjust manually when treadmill is off but for the money it is a great treadmill....

...The York Pacer 2120 is a home assembly product, but is quite straight-forward to put together.
The instruction booklet is fully informative for the assembly procedure and includes details about proper set up to suit the individual user, as well as useful information about target zones for different health benefits.
This treadmill works on a principle of magnetic resistance, so the belt is moved along by the power of your legs. The easiest way to move the belt is to set the treadmill at the steepest incline. Unfortunately, this means that you are always running uphill and soon feel the strain in the calf muscles.
As your leg strength increases though, you are able to both adjust the resistance offered by the magnets and reduce the incline to achieve a more gruelling workout.

I used to be a bit of a gym addict, but with two young children I have neither the time nor the energy to spend evenings at the gym any more! In a moment of desperation, I said to my husband a couple of years ago 'If I can't go to the gym - why not bring the gym to me!' Well it seemed a good idea but of course wasn't practical in terms of space but we did work out that we probably had room for a tredmill!
