...the new york bike lock is undountably the best in the market. I have for years been quite a keen bike rider but regretfully a year ago i had my bike nicked while at the swimming pool. the reason it was stolen was because i was using a chain locka and not a u-bar lock like the excellent new york lock. for a test i even tried to saw through it witha hacksaw but it took such a long time to make even a scratch so i gave up. i would definately recommend this to any body who is serious about cycling and wants to keep there bike safe on all occasions.... ...This excersise bike is great for the price, it has a sensor in the hand grip that monitors your pulse wholst you are on the bike, has a screen which is quite big so very clear to see that you can check what your pulse is, how far you have cycled, calories burned and how long you have been on the bike. There is a black dial further down from the handle bars that allows you to change the resistance at the same time as riding the bike so you can make it harder or softer as you need to, it is a very sturdy bike but the seat isnt very comfortable at all which is a real shame as other than this it is a great bike, it doesnt fold away for storage so you will need space to store it when not in use.... ...Cycle security is something that is essential these days, especially when I live. So when choosing a lock you need to get something that is secure. This lock cost me 25 quid from my local bike shop, and if it is not stocked by yours then ask for advice. It is a D-Lock, which means that it is D shaped, obviously. It consists of a big u shaped metal tube coated in tough black plastic padlock that fits securely onto the lock. The best was to secure your bike is to find a suitable post or cycle stand. Then feed the lock through the rear wheel and the frame, this secures the rear wheel as well as the bike frame, the instructions are quite clear anyway. You can also attach a chain to secure the front wheel as well. Again the instructions show this very clearly. Once secured in this manner it would take a very persistent bike thief... Read review
