Purchased a pair of these golfshoes three weeks ago on th 29-Sept-2009.Whn they arrived the looked super and just what I wanted smart wee bit flash and Footjoy.After one round of golf they look like my old ones with the white leather across they front creasing badly.I tried puting leather protector on as footjoy said I should,all this has done no good today after five rounds of golf they are starting to split along the bottom.They are now on there way back to the shop who supplied them.(the shop is superb and it is not there fault).In summary there are plenty of very good golfshoes out there unfortunately The Footjoy AQL does not appear to be the best.I do have three other pairs of footjoy shoes which have served me well so this may be just a one off. ...
Advantages: Entertaining, Action and Estevez Disadvantages: Not a typical western
and bloody rampage which sees them becoming outlaws instead of men of the law. With both the law and Murphy and his men after them, the band of regulators can only do one thing, and that is to rely on some old fashioned western gun slinging and justice.
Released back in 1988, YoungGuns is more of a vehicle to capitalize on the then appeal of the Hollywood brat pack, than a true western. Yes it may be set in the west and feature cowboys, but unlike classic westerns, this is more about action and escapism than being factually correct or really gritty in the John Wayne and Clint Eastwood sense. Just take a look at the lead players of Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez, they can be in a really dusty location and in the middle of a shoot out, but look like they have just come out of make up, with not a hair out of place. YoungGuns is the 1988 film with an all star brat pack cast that tells the story of the emergence of Billy the Kid and the regulators he reputedly rode with. The film is one of the more entertaining modern Westerns, and remains set as one of the better known of the modern era.
The Plot
New Mexico, 1878. Landowner John Tunstall takes in tearaway youths and educates them in return for them working for him in keeping his land and cattle safe and looked after. He calls them his regulators. Rival landowner Lawrence Murphy wants Tunstall's land and will do anything to get it. When Murphy has Tunstall murdered, the Regulators are determined to bring him to justice, but one of their number, William H Bonny (aka Billy the Kid) takes it a bit too far, sparking the biggest manhunt seen in a long time.
