LOOKS This Bat in my view is one of the best looking bats around and has not got to much pictures on the bat like the Kookaburra angry beast. I think the blue and red go very well together and really look good. Even the grip fits in with the style having blue slashes on it done by "the beast". The beast itself is not overdone but it still noticeable from a distance. I think the fact that the wood is unbleached giving it a more white effect looks better for it's style than a darker wood. I love the looks because you can really show the bat off and not worry about being seen bating with it.
POWER The middle on this bat is awesome you can hit a cricket ball miles and you really know when you have caught it right. As for the bat itself it is very forgiving of bad shots and has a lot of power. The bat has great power considering it is only made from the bog standard Kashmir willow and not from all this fancy English willow (i can't tell the difference between the willows myself there all the same to me.)
CONTROL The weight is very light for such a powerful bat the middle is chunky and it still the bat weighs little and I love that feature. This nice weight gives you total control over the bat you can play any shot and because it's light you can play your shot later rather than early that aspect of the bat is especially useful against spin bowlers so you can check the spin before you play that shot unlike heavy bats where you might have to guess a bit more about where the ball will end up.
COMFORT This bat is more comfortable than most mainly due to it's weight. The bats weight will keep you arms and hands from aching more than a heavy bat. But after a couple of hours it's how fit you are and how much endurance you have that will help your arms and hands.
DURABILITY + VALUE Like most bats it could potentially last well over 5 years but it has to have been well knocked in, (I recommend 3hours if it's pre-knocked in and 6 if it's not. That may sound like a lot but it really helps your bat.) well cared for and used properly. You may be saying what's knocking in. Knocking in is when you hit you're bat with a cricket ball or rounded mallet reasonably hard continuously. This gets the wood grain used to being hit so when you play for the first time and you try to hit the ball your bat won't snap on impact. The length of time bats last for is amazing considering I got this for only around £30-£40. This bat is defiantly worth that isn't it?
OVERALL Overall it think this is a great bat from kookaburra that has it all the looks, power, weight, comfort need I go on? I would recommend this bat to everyone as it think the world of it and it is a pleasure to be batting with.

Not impressed Review ofkookabura little beast cricket batby

Advantages: Looks great Disadvantages: Too much to mention
I bought my little beast cricket bat about six months back from a local cricket retailer and I was very disappointed with the result. I had heard great things about this bat but it didn't live up to my expectation.
**First Impression**
To be honest, my first impressions of the bat were very positive, just based on purely looking at the willow and feeling it. The bat had 9 ruler straight grains (exactly what I had been looking for), the bat had ... ...wasn't a fan of when it first came out, but gradually it grew on me, so by the time I bought the bat, this didn't worry me/
**Preparing the bat**
I knocked the bat in for approximately 7-8 hours and it was doing this process that I started to appreciate that that the bat may not be quite what I was looking for. the middle sounded as peach, just as Kookas usually does, but the middle was slightly too low for my liking and the sound of the toe and ...

Advantages: great look, powerful bat Disadvantages: low grade of williow
today i will be reviewing the kookaburra little beast cricket bat looks when you look at this bat you could compare it to any bat on the market and it would beat them all it is really a stunning design
power
the middle on this bat is slightly lower then one of the adverage bat but in some ways that can help because it allows the ball to be hit ain the air a lot easier
profile
the profile of the bat is bowed meaning it has a slight curve in it ... ...better power , but with generating better power it reduces the bat speed. the price in my eyes this bat is way under priced it retails at around £30-£40
the durability factor the durability factor is a big one because oviously if the bat is cheap then it is not going to be made from the highest graade of willow. however if the bat is knocked in , oiled , toe gaurded and looked after properly there is no reason this bat cant last as long as the best ...

Advantages: Long lasting, light, kookaburra, kashmir willow Disadvantages: hasnt got a big middle.
The Bat
The Bat is a very good Bat. The middle is'nt very big, although when you hit it, boy, its beautiful. Its so natural and i would probably say when you hit the middle it is delicious. the bat is made of high quality kashmir willow, and because it is kookaburra you can bet that it was very well made. All bats are pre-knocked in, but kookaburra do recommend at least 1 hour of knocking in. Feel
The bat feels very good. Its light and very manuverable. ... ...the only bad thing i could say about the feel, is that as soon as you dont hit the middle, you get that horrible feeling in your hands, which is not unusual, but it happend alot more with my kookaburra, compared to my new woodworm. Lastability
this bat lasted me the best part of 2 full seasons, indoors and out and also in the nets. i play in my clubs 'a' team, so its not like the bowlers we play are all terrible. Saying this, my bat did brake and ...

Beast. Review ofkookabura little beast cricket batby
Mo_soofi
Advantages: Good price! Disadvantages: Low middle
Well this cricket bat is an australian cricket bat. It a small one and is mainly for kids who tryin to learn the game. The bat will not need much maintenance as it is not made out of the best willow, because it is for kids. The bat is an dieal way for young kids to start up with cricket. This bat is definately a quality make and is used by many great player like sri lankan keeper Kumar Sangakarra. The bat will not need oiling or will not take too ... ...is that it has a low middle. For people who don't know what that means, it is the part of the bat where the ball shud be aimed to be hit with as it is where the most wood is present. The reason why this isn't good is because pitches in uk are more bouncy and u will usually want a bat with a higher middle to make best contact. In Australia the ball tends to stay low and thats why a bat with a low middle is needed. these conditions have to be taken ...
