CA gold
Review of CA Gold by
Mo_soofi
Advantages: Wonderfull willow used to make.
Disadvantages: May be a bit heavy overall.
This is a beautifull bat,it is made out of grade 1 english willow, which is one fo the best. From the top of the handle to the bottom it is equally weighted, you may ask why this is important? This is important because if your a top order batsmen it is important that you are well balanced when playing a shot. The bat also makes it easy to transfer balance and allows more control for the batsmen. The only downside of this bat is that it is quite heavy, ... ...for if you play at a high level.
This bat is used by world class players such as: Inzamam Ul Haq former captain of the pakistan. If you are an attacking top order batsmen then this is the bat for you, but if your a cautious top order batsmen this may not be the choice for you. ...

Review of CA White Gold by
khanagewot
Advantages: perfect weight balance
Disadvantages: must be knocked in very well.
...been a great fan of CA bats. For me they are clearly the best bats, but that is my personal choice because the CA white Gold is Chunkier than your normal Gray Nicholls bat. I find that this bat is perfect for my style of Aggressive play, it is a bullky bladed bat which also encourages the ball to fly of the middle with minimum effort. this is a great benefit for the wristy cricketers who concentrate on snappy shots rather than defensive play. the ... ...i have found with previous CA bats that there was always more weight near the bottom of the bat rather than an equal one, this would lead to alot of edges and miss timed shots. if you play enough cricket you know the importance of timing a ball correctley especially on the front foot. i have actually had two of these CA white gold bats, the first one i learnt that because i decided to use it straight out of the box for a match its didnt do me any ...

The Beast: Excellent choice.
Review of kookabura little beast cricket bat by
sam1060
Advantages: Long lasting, light, kookaburra, kashmir willow
Disadvantages: hasnt got a big middle.
The Bat
The Bat is a very good Bat. The middle is'nt very big, although when you hit it, boy, its beautiful. Its so natural and i would probably say when you hit the middle it is delicious. the bat is made of high quality kashmir willow, and because it is kookaburra you can bet that it was very well made. All bats are pre-knocked in, but kookaburra do recommend at least 1 hour of knocking in. Feel
The bat feels very good. Its light and very manuverable. ... ...the only bad thing i could say about the feel, is that as soon as you dont hit the middle, you get that horrible feeling in your hands, which is not unusual, but it happend alot more with my kookaburra, compared to my new woodworm. Lastability
this bat lasted me the best part of 2 full seasons, indoors and out and also in the nets. i play in my clubs 'a' team, so its not like the bowlers we play are all terrible. Saying this, my bat did brake and ...

Got Wood?
Review of Kookaburra Ultimate Belta Cricket Bat 2006 by
shanediablo
Advantages: Chunky, Light, A hitters delight
Disadvantages: Not for the defensive/classical player, bat-power comes too easily
...This was, unbelievably, my first Kookaburra bat of any description. It was purchased for me by a family member so I cannot honestly be sure of the cost of it but I knew from when I first picked it up that it was of good quality.
Being a very aggressive player, I rely on the bats being chunky in order for them to be regularly hit for the maximum and this bat is definitely chunky alright. A common balancing problem is that a bat will be really chunky ... ...therefore a great thing for Kookaburra that the were able to make this a relatively light weight and easy pick up. A sign that the game is developing at a real pace.
Ok so once you have enjoyed checking out the bats size and weight it is time to give it a go. Cue a trip to a net session, or a team traning session or for those crazy enough to do so, straight into a match situation.
I personally prefer to try it out in the nets first. I found that ...

Cricket anyone?
Review of Slazenger Super by
beanie8844
Advantages: great bat, you can hit the ball miles
Disadvantages: could be seen as quite heavy
...the back has a large slazenger panther which runs the length of the bat - this is black and has slazenger written all over it in shinny writing. It was handmade in England of natural willow and features a short handle design; but as I mentioned earlier you can buy bats in virtually any size. Of the 'V Series' you can get bats in V100, V200, V300, V400, V500, V600, V800 and V1200. Typically, the larger the number the heavier and more powerful the ... ...As cricket makes go Slazenger a relatively new - they haven't been around for as long as Readers or Gray-Nicholls for example. However, this hasn't stopped them from producing lots of top class equipment. As far as i'm aware they do every type of cricket equipment, but specialize in bats. I certainly have no complaints with the bat the I purchased and would definately buy a Slazenger again. ...
