The 'Swoosh' symbol and Arsenal badge are embroidered as usual, however the O2 sponsor logo is now in a similar mould to the printing of names at the back. I've had mines since the start of the 05/06 season and there are a few faint stains visible close up. Advantages: A very decent, all round garment.
Disadvantages: Yellow away shirt! The boring and obvious colour choice.

Hummel have, in the past, created some amazing shirts, the classic Denmark for instance, but also have been guilty of some rather poor showings. This Villa shirt is really very decent though. It's a shame it's in yellow, the curse of many away shirts that makes them rather boring, but that aside it's a nice garment. ...well with the yellow to help add character and soften it to the eyes. The sponsor works well in black too, made from simple lettering. The material is of a decent standard and feels comfortable enough when worn. It's a little distracting to play in but not enough to be deemed a major flaw. ...present it is made by Nike and I would expect a good quality from this brand. Not so the shirt is feather light and is very hard to wash, on the tab in the shirt it says dont not lay ontiself after washing, wash with same colours and do not use softeners,probably because the colours may run into each other. Barcalona are renowned for not having a sponser so it is blank other then these two effects, thank goodness as it would probably peel of or come off in the wash.
