Nice, But Oh So Plain!
Review of Adidas AC Milan Away Football Shirt by
awaykitcom
Advantages: Adidas quality, nice material, simple but stylish looks.
Disadvantages: Rather plain for an away shirt.
...red and black trim.
Embroidered Adidas logo in black on the right of the chest.
Cloth AC Milan club badge on the left of the chest with embroidered gold star above it.
Opel logo and ZAFIRA printed across the chest in black.
Made in Adidas' CilmaCool material.
Available in short sleeve and possibly long sleeve too, though I've only ever seen the short sleeve available.
Sizing is the standard Adidas with approx. chest sizes as follow:-
Small ... ...should be black with the Adidas logo and a white printed label that has a bar code, the size information and a product code of 109951.
The shirt is well made and very comfortable. The ClimaCool material is great for leisure or playing in and find that it causes no distractions, not even when wet. It's got a nice, wide v-neck collar that hangs quite loosely so you won't feel restricted. The end's of the sleeves are formed from the seams of the two ...

Not The Best, But Still Great!
Review of Adidas AC Milan Home Football Shirt by
awaykitcom
Advantages: Classic Milan design, well made.
Disadvantages: Not much in the way of design features.
...almost always look good, but Adidas have done a really good job here!
The traditional black and red combine two types of material, a standard football shirt material for the red and more of a mesh for the black. Manufactured in Adidas' ClimaLite fabric, it's comfortable to play in no matter what the weather conditions and stylish enough to wear for lesiure.
Although, overall, a rather basic Adidas design this shirt doesn't suffer from it and the ... ...embroidered above it and the Adidas logo is also embroidered. The sponsored version has Merive and the Opel logo printed across the middle in white.
Although not Adidas' or Milan's best ever shirts it's still a fine addition to any collector or fan's wardrobe. Expect to pay no more than about £15 but you can probably pick one up for quite a bit less in auction with a bit of luck. ...

Shows That Simple Need Not Be Plain!
Review of Adidas Chelsea Away Football Shirt by
awaykitcom
Advantages: Distinct colour, good styling, comfortable, good build quality.
Disadvantages: Colour is not to everyones taste. Plain back if it's not got a name and number.
...Liverpools 06/07 home shirt by Adidas for a poorly designed collar and you'll know what I mean.)
The back of the shirt is very plain indeed, the same baby blue all the way over with no trim or detail. It's no big fault but if you can get an official name and number put on then it enhances it greatly.
The sleeves and lower hem, areas that shirt designers sometimes like to play around with, are very plain but in keeping with the shirt design. Overall, ... ...and pulls, unlike many Nike, Adidas and Reebok shirts.
Care of the shirt is quite straightforward. From my experience, simply wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle with your normal washing powder. I don't bother with conditioner unless it's a 2-in-1 detergent. DO NOT tumble dry your football shirts, instead hang them on a rack in a warm room or line dry them. Tumble drying of football shirt material usually results in shrinkage and a lot of printed ...

I usually wash a dozen or so of my football shirts together, all different makes, colours and materials and have never had a problem when following these guidelines.
If it's still got the original swing tags, those tags should consist of a black X-static tag describing the material and a blue Chelsea tag with the club badge, year of the shirt printed on. The opposite side of that tag should have the white Umbro label with the product ...
