Oh for a rest from football on T.V.
Review of Nike Championship League Skills Ball by maggs1939

Advantages: None to many millions
Disadvantages: Too much of it on T.V. Enough is enough

Why do we have to have so much Football on T.V. on Sundays? It's bad enough on Saturdays! I live alone and although I do like to watch tennis and occasionally snooker on Sundays the T.V. moguls have gone mad. Or should I sing They're "Football crazy, they're...." There is no getting away from it -which is fine if you are an avid football fan - or hooligan even! However, there must be millions of people like myself who feel you can have too much ...
...p.m. on most Sundays (when you are just sitting down for a leisurely afternoons viewing), what do you find? BBC is usually Eastenders omnibus and on ITV, BBC2, and Channel 4 it is either football, football, and even more football. They do of course throw in the odd motor car racing and I suppose cricket will now join the rota too. There are those of us who would like to bring about a few changes If sports mania only affected Sundays it wouldn't ... Read review

Don't judge a ball by its looks
Review of Nike Geo Ball by robybaggio

Advantages: Superb control, light and stylish
Disadvantages: Deflate alot therefore needing to be pumped up and patches rip easily

...can't tell it is the Nike Geo ball it was. The colour has completely gone and the patches have already started to rip. Don't be put off by the way the pros put the ball in the back of the net with maximum swerve in either direction. These players only use the same ball before it goes into the stands and a new one is thrown in. But the buyer may have to keep it for a longer period of time. The price is quite shocking aswell. This is not value for ...
...days before its sell-by date. One thing you can't do is doubt the ability of this ball. This is why it is the Premier League ball. It is extremely light aswell. In some cases maybe too light. Think of how many times the ball has gone high into the stands. The lightness of it means it is superb for long balls. You can put less less power on the ball, and shockingly, get a lot of distance on the ball. Another thing is that it deflates no matter how ... Read review

Review of Nike Sparta Ball by andrew06

Advantages: Excellent long lasting leather
Disadvantages: Pain for goalkeepers to save

...are my views on the Nike Sparta ball. There is not very much to write about when describing a football, however I will do my best to share my opinion on this ball and I will try to tell the truth Firstly my experience of this ball has been a positive one. the ball is made from an excellent leather which gains speed when been kicked this is important because some balls it doesn’t matter how hard you kick it still go only so far and then stop When ...
...played with it on grass and tarmac and the people at the shop said that the leather would last for at least 4 years which shows how much robust the leather is But now for the not so good points that the ball moves around in the air which means that the ball is hard to catch if you are a goalie which is annoying I would recommend this ball to anyone playing a game but not a goalie ... An Excellent Ball And A Sound Investment
Review of Mitre Ultimatch Ball by Steboyuk

Advantages: Durability, Quality
Disadvantages: None

...experience when your using it. Mitre have been known for creating some very durable balls and with the Ultimatch I feel they have nailed it. It possesses an extremely tough exterior which can handle pretty much everything you throw at it - alot of balls will be rendered useless after a single thorn gets lodged inside of it, but with the Mitre ball this is not the case, as the thorn cannot fully puncture the ball. The ball is very accurate after it ...
...may sound expensive for a ball, but in the long term is a sound investment. Nowadays you should be able to pick it up through Mitre at around £12. If you want to improve your game and have the comfort of a long lasting ball, this should be your choice. ... Read review

Avoid This Ball!
Review of Adidas Fevernova by Steboyuk

Advantages: Looks Good, Cheap now
Disadvantages: Everything else

When I first bought this ball, I remember playing with it for around 2 hours with my mates, we all agreed it was a really good ball, but we thought it was a bit light. We played again with it on the saturday, and again we were all impressed with it - However, then came the sunday. Playing in our local league on Sunday's as we did, we started warming up with our usual Mitre balls and realised we were totally wrong. The mitre ball, harder and simply ...
...- the Fevernova is infact an awful ball and is pretty much an expensive wind ball! It moves in the air almost randomanly which can look good at times until you realise that you just got a lucky break when it sails into the top corner. The ball also did not last long, after one game of Walle almost all of the design has torn off, and then it was gone forever when somebody got slide tackled with the ball at the feet, the studs of the player proceeded ...
