This hat meets the EN1384 and the PAS 015 standards so this means it is classed as safe and you could wear it at riding schools etc. For £80-100 i wasn't overly impressed as i didnt think it was anything too special and didnt differ from my hat thats 1/2 the price! ...apart from the champion it is nearly identical to my less than 1/2 price version. The only thing i did prefer about this hat over mine was the chin strap that was very cushioned and i really liked that. You can adjust the harness at the back of the hat as it is on a drawstring design so it does enable variations between riders.
