Trainers are my friend for life! I'm sure of it! I wear trainers probably every single day. On the way to work, on the way home from work, while out, around the house sometimes too. I have quite a few pairs of trainers and while I do love to wear heels and glam up for a night out trainers are usually so comfortable and soothing for my feet that I often wear them regardless of occasion.

These Nike trainers first caught my eye online but I actually ended up purchasing mine in a Sports Direct store when they had a sale on. I paid around £20.00 for these in a size 7 quite a while back now (maybe over a year) and have been very pleased with my purchase.

I like to wear trainers that are quite lightweight and that is why these probably caught my eye. They are not as large as most of the trainers that are in fashion at the moment which is always a plus point. I'm not worried about following fashion and prefer to just buy what I like as long as the price is right for me at the time. This type of smaller, thinner trainer is ideal for wearing with three quarter length jeans during the summer or tighter jeans during the colder months.

These trainers are quite plain in appearance but for the most part that is how I like most of my trainers to be. The Nike tick on my trainers is pink and I like that these white trainers are brought to life with this little hint of colour. The tongue has some colour too as well as around the top of the back of my trainers. The laces are white too and I have managed to keep them quite clean so far as well as the trainers themselves.

I have found the best way to look after most trainers is to turn them upside down on a radiator when wet, wipe them over with some Cif or something similar and a dishcloth and generally just make sure I bash any mud off outside and try not to leave anything to dry on them other than water.

I have not had any problems with these trainers and while they are now considerably worn nothing has fallen off them yet and the soles have held up very well considering. These trainers have lasted far better than some French Connection ones that I have spent over £100 on and worn considerably less so overall my trainers get a 5 out of 5 from me!
