...Run out of hard drive space and need a quick external fix, or simply want an easy way of backing up your data? For either purpose the Iomega Desktop Silver Series Hard Drive does the job, available in variety of sizes. APPEARANCE Its sleek silver casing is visually pleasing in a subtle way, not relying on glowing lights like many other external drives at similar prices. It does not draw attention to itself, with two simple green lights at the front, one to display power and one for hard drive access. It is slimmer than expected for a 3.5" drive but it is also surprisingly long. Its chief drawback is the lack of a vertical standing position which can be a real space-saver on cluttered desks. However the flat position is probably better/safer for external drives where possible. The branding is a simple, small Iomega logo... Read review
