Review of Fujifilm FinePix 4900 Zoom by

Limited Imports, so buy early
Review of Trek 4900 WSD by
neil4ster
Advantages: Comfortable, plush ride, sensible gearing
Disadvantages: Price, low spec group set
...Girlfriend was getting back ache after riding a small version of a male bike, so i bought her one for her birthday...no more back ache.
Specific for ladies in the way that,
1. Small brake leavers
2. Larger saddle
3. Shorter top tube
4. Softer suspension fork
Ther are probably loads more changes compared to the normal 4900, but these are the obvious ones. As a package though it works well, and is pretty comfortable to ride. Plush forks (low stiction), sensible gearing and a nice ladies saddle to protect the soft bits!
You pay a premium though for such attention to detail. Yes you pay the same as the male version, but you get downgraded gears, cassette, hubs and chainrings. Bit tight if you ask me, are the ladies being taken advantage of in the way that they might not know the difference between the Deore and LX range? NIce colours...

That can't be a digital image
Review of Fujifilm FinePix 4900 Zoom by
whyted
Advantages: Superb Image Quality
Disadvantages: A lot of manual option settings to master
...the only problem was keeping the dog still long enough for the Capture Device to not make an ageing Collie look like an out-take from a Superman movie. In general it's a great GP Camera (bearing in mind that has been used and abused for a while).
You may think "Why is he whittering on about an Olympus Camera when he's suppose to be informing us about the Fuji 4900 Zoom"? Well, this preamble is merely to set a few benchmarks. Whilst I was more than happy with the results from the now ageing Camedia, I was tasked to weigh up some newer cameras with the intention of going for some newer technology in the office.
I've browsed brochures, surfed sites, demoed dealers and looked at a wide range of digital cameras, but it wasn't until last weekend, my choice made itself.
My Brother-in-law decided it was time to replace his agening Minolta and embrace...

LEGROS
Advantages: Decorate at a fraction of the cost.
Disadvantages: None
...For those of you that are DIY addicted then Glenn Webb stores are the best around the country. I found a store just by chance, decided to browse around and re-decorated my lounge for nearly £50.00.

Give it a look, I will be going back again. Free parking. Helpfull service too. Paint Brushes.Glue brushes. Paste brushes are cheaper than the major stores so I found out!! to late....

Pioneer DEHP4900IB
Review of Pioneer DEH-P4900IB by
jgallinzx
Advantages: Full Ipod Control and brilliant price - £179
Disadvantages: None as far as I can see
...I bought this unit just over a month ago and wow!
Having used ipod in the car before but with only the audio going through the stereo and no stereo control over it this is a godsend to me. I love my music and can't go oanywhere without it. My car is no longer full of Cd's and sounds great.
As a headunit it does everything most of you could wish for and then more on top of that. With a good radio tuner that covers my Radio 1 journeys into work in the mornings :-)
The Cd is fantastic quality and plays your copies, MP3's, WAV's and WMA's. With original cd's it displays the the cd name and track info if the cd comes with it. With your other types of cd's it displays all your track names and artists as long as they are on the cd.
When I say iPod control it means you can choose your music just as you can on your iPod.
For those of you...

My First Webcam
Review of Zoom ZoomCam 1595 by
Kristian
Advantages: Cost, easy to use(?)
Disadvantages: lack of instructions
...I'm more than a novice when it comes to anything PC based so I bought the ZoomCam USB with some trepidation.
The cost was £49.00 from PC World which seemed to be amongst the cheapest webcams they had - I was not after all going to spend a fortune on something I was bound to cock up!
Upon opening the box I was underwhelmed by the sheer lack of instructions. What appeared to be a hastily photocopied instruction manual was all that provided any information. A CD with the relevant software was also included.
I eventually managed to get the thing installed and now find it to be pretty good. Some of the software supplied did not work - Microsoft NetMeeting. I was able to download another copy from www.microsoft.com which seemed to cure the problem.
Summary - relatively pleased with the product but disappointed that they could not have...

On line credit reports from Experian
Review of Experian by
NickyTate
Advantages: keep a close eye on what is happening, highlights any activity.
Disadvantages: costs as always you must pay pay pay!
...will send you a copy of a credit report that will mean absolutley nothing to you several weeks down the line??
With sheer frustration I turned to my trusty PC and began to plow through the internet searching for my problem of ''Identity theft''
quite accidently i came across Experian's website.
www. creditexpert.co.uk.
Reluctantly I clicked into the web expecting the usual send a £2 chq blar blar blar.
But no.... they now have a new way of accessing your credit details
you have to pay (but what dont you have to pay for) £49.00 for a year. A bit expensive if you have never had a problem but worth every penny if you feel someone may be using your details fraudulentley.
They take your credit/debit card details for £49.00 obviously using a secure site then email you within minutes with your loggin details. You can then log straight onto your very...
