...This graphics card is excellent value for money as it has the same core as the 7900GTX and better memory than the 7900GTX for less money. This allows this card to be overclocked to the 7900GTX spec for a fraction of the cost. Having said this, this card is actually fast enough to play almost all games with anti-aliasing at resolutions most people will be playing at (1280x1024 and below). The stock cooler does an excellent job as not only is it quiet but also cools the core and memory very efficiently keeping the card at around 55 degrees C under load and about 40 degrees C when idle. It also has the added bonus of venting the hot air out of the back of the case and keeps air moving through the case benefitting all other components also. The bundled software is a little weak but at this price point one cannot really complain... Read review

Advantages: Fast and quiet. Dual DVI. No compatibility problem with games. Very fast.

...I own one of these cards on my newly assembled computer. I searched alot on internet before arriving to this decision specially remembering that the new ATI 2XXX and nvidia 8800 cards have arrived. If you are looking for performance under a 200USD price tag, X1950 XT is a video card that I suggest you to not pass by. As I have seen on many benchmarks X1950 XT did very well against its main competitor: nVidia. The X1950 XT is a powerful graphics card. Its core runs a mere 25 MHz slower than that of the X1950 XTX, and its memory runs a full 250 MHz (effective) faster than the X1900 XTX. It is on par with the previous X1900 XTX champ, and fast enough to run at high resolutions with nice eye candy. It will handily beat a 7950 GT, and even best a 7900 GTO or 7900 GTX at most things. Conclusion Age of Conan is fun, imaginative and orginal, but at the moment a lack of content and an abundance of bugs means that it isn't going to draw your full atention. ....M.A.R.T. But speed not seems to be enough, 4200 rpm could make Windows start slower than expected and loading game time might be increased. It is a bit strange when Toshiba made such a powerful laptop and gave it a 4200 rpm hard drive. Graphic : Nvidia Geforce Go 7900 with 512 Mb of GDDR can impress any gamer. However Toshiba doesn't mention about its version, 512Mb 7900 GS or 512Mb 7900 GTX, so it will be a bit difficult in comparing with other systems. However, a 17" wide screen WXGA 1440x900 will make the Grapphic Card fly as the resolution is not so high, this means that there's only around 1300000 pixel on the screen, much smaller then 1600x1200. The cooling system seems to work fine. The laptop will not suit you if you'r expecting to get a thin laptop. Overall, nice gaming laptop, powerful however, Dell XPS or Alienware might be a better...
