...I found this gym suitable from birth onwards, as advertised by the makers. When my baby was small, he loved looking at the black and white patterned arches. As he grew, he looked at the mobiles and tried to grab and kick them. As he grew, the gym still holds fascination for him. Aged nearly nine months, he enjoys dismantling it and he studies it intently. When he is older, the gym converts to a tunnel which will give him more pleasure. Therefore it is a gym with longlasting appeal. The only negative aspect of the gym is when he started to roll, the red plastic bases were hard for him to roll onto, and would prevent him rolling over. ...This Little Tikes Activity Gym is great for young children and creates a fun environment which is also safe. The activity gym comes in a large box which contained all the parts. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Looking at the gym all you needed to do is slot in the pieces. This was true as the pieces did have to be slotted together but getting them together was the hard bit. You need someone strong who can force the sections together but at least the instructions are easy to follow so you don't go wrong (imagine having to undo it and reassemble it!). The activity gym is brightly coloured meaning more fun for the children. Be warned that the colours do not remotely blend in with any surroundings so don't be alarmed when you have this bright coloured object in the middle of your garden. The slide is quite short which... ...I bought this gym from Mothercare when the twins were a month old. Although it was quite pricey at 40 pounds, Thomas and Naomi definatly got my moneys worth!!! The Features: -Bright colourful playmat with different textures(zebra mane, crinkle elephant ears and bee wings). -Large mirror -Squeaker horn -Flower touch pads( that light up and activate music when touched). -Hanging toys (rattle giraffe, stretchy legs monkey, jitterpull elephant and crinkle wings parrot) -Music (either 10 mins of Mozart or nursry rhymes) The gym is designed for babies agd 0-6 months, and it certainly kept Thomas and Naomi occupied during the early stages of their life. ...The Fisherprice Musical Lights and Sounds Gym was given to my son Alex when he was about a week old. It is suitable from birth onwards, and will keep newborns through to sitting babies amused. The gym features dangling toys, flashing lights and music (as suggested by the name!): Dangling toys: Three different brightly coloured shapes - a moon, a star and a 'sun', each with little dangly flaps for baby to each up and grab. ...Fisher price sparkling symphony gym Imagine this a 3-4 month old baby lying on a mat on the floor, a happy baby lots of smiles and gurgles. Erected over him is the fisherprice sparkling symphony gym. The gym is brightly coloured, He kicks out at a dangling moon and sun, they move and music plays he stops to listen and then his arm bats at the star and he gurgles happily when it moves and plays Beethoven.
