A joy to walk in
Review of Adidas Golf Shoes by
kimborob
Advantages: comfort and durability
Disadvantages: none
...Having tried several different shoes over the years, my last 3 pairs have been Adidas and I would not buy anything else. When you are walking several miles during a game of golf, shoes, next to golf clubs of course, have to be the most important outlay. It is important that you chose a correct fit and that the shoes are comfortable and functional.
Adidas, who are of course famous for making training shoes have a wealth of experience, about 75 years I think, and seem to have used it wisely in the design of their golf shoes range.
They offer several different types of golf shoe from the more traditional style to a training type shoe which seem to be becomming very popular amongst professionals.
Uli Robbecke, the Eurpoean Product Manager of Adidas Golf says " The golf shoe design is more and more influenced by sport shoe design...

Good all purpose shoe, also suitable for cricket
Review of Adidas Uproar Indoor Shoes by
Morgenhund
Advantages: Comfortable, well made, reasonable price
Disadvantages: not a lot of toe protection
...I have starting playing indoor cricket, and have been playing on polished wooden surfaces, where grip has been important, especially when bowling. I found the Adidas Uproar to be very comfortable, although not specifically designed for cricket, although taking one on the foot from an indoor ball still hurts.
For bowling I found grip very good, essential if you want to avoid turning your ankle over when bowling, even though these are a low cut trainer. The bottom of the shoe has a non-marking indoor sole, and good traction. A cross trainer cut would be a plus, although these shoes were good value and being well made will undoubtedly last for a long time....

Fantastic indoor football shoes!
Review of Adidas Top Sala V by
R_A_C
Advantages: You'll feel free, light and comfortable!
Disadvantages: none!
...Adidas Top Sala V are the most amazing indoor football shoes I have ever used.
With the Sala series Adidas tried to end the uncomfortable, hard material and feet aching so far used shoes. And they did it! Indoor football doesn't have to be played by though rubber snickers anymore, because with Top Sala V, you get the same ball control and grip and you still feel as if you were running with soft clouds under your feet!
Indeed the "Top Sala V" has a magnificent "air system" underneath that gives that sense of comfort even in the hardest floor. Running is easy (you'll feel like flying!)and the ball control, I believe always gain with the ease that the shoes suit you! This is the case!
They also have reinforcement in front, with a tiny rubber layer that allows you to kick with the point of the shoes.
I'm particularly sensitive...

Get A Grip!
Review of Adidas Tour Traxion Golf Shoe by
the_mad_cabbie
Advantages: Comfortable, waterproof, stylish, good grip.
Disadvantages: Make sure you break them in properly before you hit the golf course!
...I wasn't over enamoured! The runner-up spot in a team competition last summer at my golf club won me a new pair of golf shoes. Problem was, they weren't the Footjoy brand that I normally wear and which have served me well down through the years, but a pair of white Adidas shoes with black stripes which for all the world looked like a pair of my teenage daughter's trainers.
I was even less enamoured when I discovered that they hadn't been purchased in the club professional's shop, which meant I couldn't exchange them for something else. Not that they were a bad looking pair of shoes mind you. Called the "Adidas Tour Traxion" they are a slightly less expensive version of Adidas's best selling golf shoe, the "Tour 360", which is worn by many of the top tour professionals.
Anyways, as my old pair of Footjoy Dryjoys were becoming slightly...

The saviour of any girl's wardrobe floor
Review of Schuh (Shop) by
Clare_1
Advantages: Good range, reasonable prices, continuous sales
Disadvantages: NOt enough of them in the world
...Schuh is my little piece of heaven on the high street. When a girl can't find clothes that suit her, what is she to do? Shop for shoes, that is what!!!! As the proud owner of nearly 30 pairs of shoes, I am ready to testify that Schuh is my alternative desert island disc!
Seriously though, this is a shoe shop based in Scotland that sells name-brand shoes from Acupuncture to Adidas, from Nike to New Balance, from Caterpillar to Converse. It also has its own range of shoes. They sell sensible shoes such as the kind that your parents would allow you to walk straight out of the shop in to the kind of boots that not even the least self-respecting lady of the night would wear - think Julia Roberts in the early shots of Pretty Woman and you have what I am talking about! Their range of trainers is outstanding.
Now for the nitty-gritty - prices...

Clima Cool is great for the nice weather
Review of Adidas Clima Cool Ladies by
yilshane
Advantages: Climacool great in the summer
Disadvantages: Wet feet in the rain !
...I am an avid golf fan and I recently purchsed a pair of these climacool ladies golf shoes. I purchased them because I own a pair of climacool trainners and thought that they would be just like wearing trainners. Let me tell you that they are not. I bought them from Ebay at £13.00 with £5.00p&p, which at the time I felt that they were a bargin as all other golf shoes that I had taken a look at were starting from £25.99 going right up to £60.00 and £70.00.
The shoes themselfs took me four games of 18 holes to break them in, which was very very uncomfortable for my feet, and they are nothing when compared with the climacool trainners.
The climacool material itself is fine when playing in the nice weather, but if its been rainning or if the greens are being wartered down then you need to take an extra pair of socks with you...

Scone Shoes
Review of The Shoe Tailor by
molelover
Advantages: comfortable, better fitting shoes at reasonable prices
Disadvantages: limited range, most of them are quite ugly
...: names include Hush Puppies, Brevitt, Comfitts, Equity, Adidas, Kickers, Ecco and Clarks. Admittedly, most of them are still ugly, there’s no point in lying to you. But there ARE stilettos. There ARE knee-length leather boots. There ARE strappy sandals, and some of them are even pretty. My shoe-fiend friends would probably curl their noses up at all of them, but then again they all have nice small slim feet that they can squeeze into pretty shoes: I have hobbit feet that hurt in everything, and am just glad to have found some shoes, any shoes, that aren’t totally hideous and that are comfortable.
I ordered some red trainers, at £29.99 and some black leather ankle boots – with heels! - at £49.99 and both are almost passable as “normal” looking. They’re also extremely comfortable. You might not think that a simple quarter-of-an-inch would...

Shoe City and It's So Pretty
Review of Schuh (Shop) by
ms19
Advantages: great shoe range, original shoes, helpful assistants
Disadvantages: some sizes can sell out quick
...After having come back from my trip to Schuh I am now going to review it. Shoe is a very well known UK shoe shop which is based in all major cities. I know there are 4 in Edinburgh where I live but there only used to be 2 which means they are branching out. I also know that most places I have visited in the UK small and big have Schuh.
I love this shop because there is a shoe for everyone there are trainers from Nike, Adidas, Converse, Skechers, Vans etc to high heels from Irregular Choice and the shops own brand of shoes. There are the girls shoes on one side and the male shoes on the other side. You can always tell what side is for what sex because of the colours. Most shops usually cut down on the mens shoes but here I always see a lot of male shoppers and in most Schuh stores I have been in they always get an equal half like...

The best trainers ever
Review of Reebok Shop by
Mikew79
Advantages: The best cross trainers ever
Disadvantages: None
...I have got through many pairs of trainers over the years and can even remember when trainers were called plimsolls or pumps. I guess I started when the old Dunlop Green Flash were all the rage, progressed on to Adidas Roms, through to many different versions and brands of specialist running shoes made by New Balance, Asics and Nike.
Anyway, having established my credentials I have to say that I have now found the most comfortable pair of cross trainers that I have ever had. They are Reebok DMX shoes which cost about £55 when I bought them in June this year. They are grey in colour with black trim and they feel like slippers. I have run several miles in them, taken part in numerous Body Pump and Circuit training classes, cycled, played the odd game of football and walked around a few shopping centres since then and they are still...
