...Here we have one of the most successful Swedish death metal bands, shown here on the verge of their mainstream metal breakthrough. Personally doomsday machine is my favourite arch enemy album, it gets the balance right between power and creativity and doesn't bore the listener. Some of the riffs on this album are fantastic and very original, the solos are very good, and the first time I heard the vocals I could not believe such a sound could come from a woman! Needless to say I was very impressed with this album, after listening to wages of sin, and anthems of rebellion, doomsday machine is quite clearly the peak of Arch Enemy's stand out sound. Advantages: Strong cast

...Having stopped my friends going to see this so that I could go with my parents I can now annoy them all by telling them that it is as good as it looks. The fact that the two arch enemies are played by Shakespearian actors in an American film is wonderful to see. The acting is superb and the Brits are well backed up by the predominantly Australian/New Zealand cast. For a film to be such a box office success in America without many Americans in lead roles is a credit to the film. Anybody who thinks that the film is going to be babyish due to its comic book origins is truely wrong. I can't wait for the next two.... Read review

Advantages: Great action movie.

...What a film, full of excitement and action from the outset. Blade is a vampire that was in his mothers womb when she was bitten. This means that he can walk in the dayligh, but has the strength the same as other vampires. His is constantly trying to kill vampires and is after one in particular. It later turns out in the movie that his arch enemy is in fact the vampire that bit his mother and consequently the reason why he is what he is. The plot involves the baddy (as in most movies) trying to take over the world. In this case to be the vampire demon. The film is brilliant and is one that you should not miss. ...The First time I was introduced to Arch Enemy was on the television show Uranium on Fuse, back when Metal Mistress Juliya was there, and they seemed to somewhat care about heavy metal. Juliya was doing a feature on different women in metal and the present lead singer for the death metal band Arch Enemy, Angela Gossow was one of the people interviewed. I also got the chance to hear the song "We Will Rise". The song We will Rise is very motivational just like the rest of the songs on the album itself. The meaning is quite self explanatory. It's about metalheads rising about mainstream music such as pop, rap, hip hop and so on. Other popular songs on the album are Leader of the Rats and Dead Eyes See no Future. Just set down the reciever, hide and switch it on - watch those nosy enemies run to check it out whilst you cut thier throats nice and silently from behind! The player may also click on the eye icon which is used to see the enemies arch of sight. Enter their arch of sight and prepare for a firefight! If enemies are killed their bodies may be picked up (using the green beret) and hidden to avoid living enemies spotting the bodies and raising the alarm. This game is all about strategy. The missions get hard as the game progresses, but as you get used to the game you can devide your own tacticts to complete mission objectives. ...Inspector Gadget was an terrible film , so yes I was taken in by the hype , and a trailer on screen at the video store and I rented it out , with any sense I should have turned it off after 20 minutes , but being a glutton for punishment I watched to the bitter end , thinking this must get better , It did not , and left me thinking how could they film such a rotten and stupid story , Mathew Broderick did the best he could , but it just goes to prove that no matter what you spend on special effects , a film still needs a reasonable story . His arch enemy Claw, is not frightening just annoying. There are a few mildly amusing visual gags and reasonable special effects , but only the easiest to please child , who had never before seen any film would be enthralled by this dross .... Advantages: It has Pikachu what more can you say
Disadvantages: Don't want to turn it off !!

...Yellow electrifying pocket monster !! Pikachu is the star of Pokemon Yellow and it follows you everywhere you go. It is very similar in design to red and blue but you do have your trusty companion. The main difference being that you cannot train pikachu enough to make him evolve unlike in say red version. This is just as good as the others and if you train him well and he wins lots of battles he will love you !! You can visit lots of different towns as well as having to battle the double trouble Team Rocket and the more battles you win the stronger your pokemon become. Eventually you will be able to teach them new attacks and once you have fought all the various gym leaders you can enter the Pokemon League where you have to defeat the best of the best - including Gary your Arch Enemy.... ...i really loved the first film of austin powers, so when austin powers 2 came out, i was sure that i would see it. the film is very funny and if you need cheering up - this is definateoy the movie to watch. mike myers is a great actor who, along side heathjer gramham as felicity shagwell save thwe world again, from austins arch enemy called dr.evil as dr.evil is going to destroy the world with a giant 'laser'. this film is full of laughs anmd it will really cheer you up , especially the scene where the flying rocket looks like a mans c##k.... ...I saw this film when I was very young and a couple of years ago when all the old videos were dug out of the attic and I watched it with my newly born little sister I remebered how good it was. However it lacked the type of theme Toy Story and A Bug Life have as both these films also seem enjoyable to adults. Really Robin Hood is only for children as most adults will simply find it a bore. The story Im sure you all know, Robin steals from the rich to give to the poor. Hes arch enemies with King John and its all about John trying to capture him and stuff like that. Animation is appaling for the likes of what we get nowadays but for its time it wa svery good.... Read review

Advantages: We beat Germany
Disadvantages: We didn't get out of the group stage

...We could all spend hours slagging off England but did nobody watch the match on 17th June. Yes the England Germany match (I know Germany weren't exactly at their best) we won don't you remember, 1 - 0. It is the first time we have beaten them in competition since we kicked ass in 1966. We played poorly but beat germany our arch enemy in football, we should be proud. We cant expect to be good on an international level without either capping the number of foriegn players in England or exporting more English talent to top foriegn leagues.... Read review
