A is for Artist Trading Cards (ATC's)
Review of Everything that starts with A ... by  CRAFTYDONNA

Advantages: Fun, Personal, Cheap to make.
Disadvantages: You will get hooked.

...and are as follows: 1. The dimensions of the card must be 2.5 x 3.5 inches (64 x 89 mm). 2. ATC's must only be traded NEVER SOLD. There are many forums out there online where you can trade your cards, put in a google search. 3. Each card should include some basic information on the back. This Should include the following: Artist Name Contact info (e-mail) ATC Name Date Made Number (1/2 or 1/3 or original) I have made my own sticky labels with these details which i add on the back of my cards. HOW TO MAKE ATC's ATC's are made out of Basic card stock, you can either buy the cards already cut to size (I brought a pack of 50 for £1.99 from our local craft store. Check out ebay which is starting to catch onto this new craze. Or why not buy some large pieces of card and cut down to size yourself. (I prefer to buy them already cut, saves a lot of time... If you're going to San Fransisco
Review of Flight Unlimited 2 (PC) by  callancool

Advantages: Good graphics, Fun Challenges
Disadvantages: ATC difficult to learn hard to fly

...although promised were not forth coming, though a sequel was released later to which you could add this scenery, just as Looking Glass went bankrupt in fact....... In truth this game is more for fligh sim enthusiasts than thoose just wanting a basic flight simulation, although its easy take off option modes try to cater for the casual pilot. However, the nesseccary interaction with ATC and the complicated use of the radio make it an awkward game to master which defeats these option to an extent. In truth it delivered a lot, but demanded a lot in return. You won't see a better flight sim at this price (£5 - $7-50), although for the novice pilots out there Microsoft Flight Sim 98 has been re-issued on Empire's X-plosive label at the same price, and although not as good graphically, its not that far behind and is a better bet as it features most... Realism is blown skyhigh
Review of Flight Sim 2002 (PC) by  JamesRothwell

Advantages: A world to fly around
Disadvantages: Still basic civil flying

...I have been flying on my PC since Flight Sim 98, I only got started because my dad was flying so much. I got into it and realized why he liked it. It was always challenging. Now when I told my dad that Microsoft where busy designing FS2002 he pre-ordered it. When it finally came we installed it on our machines in it's three disk splendor. It takes a bit to install, thats because it has too transfer 2000MB of data. One thing that really blew me away was the ATC, it is a brilliant feeling when your flying along to know that there are other aircraft busy on route to there destinations. The ATC will fly you too your airport land you and even give you directions on the ground. The whole ATC thing works perfectly. The graphics are incredible, truly amazing. After a couple of months flying this game and you'll be so immersed when you do... Read review

Juggernaut: Noun, Ineorable force
Review of Cooler Master ATC S4000-SX1 by  mike_kular

Advantages: Features and expansion
Disadvantages: Value

...The ATC S4000 SX-1 is a much older design than is what is expected off a high end manufatcurer like CoolerMaster. The first that strikes you about the S4000 is its lustrous aluminium finish - it's simply gorgeous. Unfortunatly, the great aesthetics come at a price. A hefty £271 to be exact, this ain't therefore no civilian case. You're not just paying for a great finish, though; the inside edges are smoothly rounded off so your fingers won't end up looking like Freddy Krueguer's once you've finished upgrading. In contrast to the highprice, you can't actually fit all that much inside the S4000 as there are only three 5.25" external and five 3.5" internal drive bays. Ironically, this is one of the most expensive, made by CoolerMaster, but it has the fewest bays than most of the others in its league. It may be diminutive inside... Read review

Something to catch you whenever you fall...
Review of Black Diamond ATC XP by  hukerjohn

Advantages: Fantastic design - great for beginners
Disadvantages: Can be difficult when using thick or stiff ropes

...is pulled down and the friction produced between the rope and plate causes the rope to stop moving. By increasing the angle of the loose end upwards the speed of the rope through the plate increases as the friction induced decreases. This allows the climber to descend. Anyway, Back to the ATC XP. This, for me, is the best belay plate on the market for beginners climbing. It has been designed with teeth so that if the belayer is much lighter than the climber there shouldn't be any problems holding the rope down and creating enough friction. My sister weighs about 8.5 stone whereas I'm 13.5 and she doesn't have any problems holding my weight. The teeth also allow for much thinner ropes for when you are climbing with a pair of ropes and weight is an issue. This belay plate works perfectly well with thin, 7.7mm, and thick, 11mm, ropes. The teeth... Read review

P is for Plane Humour
Review of Everything that starts with P ... by  Dalesman

Advantages: Keeps you chuckling
Disadvantages: might have heard some of these before

...out the window." 5. "Air Force One, I told you to expedite." 4. "Listen up gentlemen, or something's gonna happen that none of us wants to see. Besides that, you're (ticken') me off!." 3. "Leave five on the glide, have a nice ride, tower inside, twenty-six nine...see ya!" 2. "Japan Air Ten Heavy, how 'bout a radio check?" (Response - - "Rogah, switching!") 1. "Turn in and take over...you know the rest." ......In the early 60's a JAPAN Airlines captain was given an ATC clearance to hold at a fix before landing at Hawaii. He responded, "I am not familiar with that fix, it has been a long time since I've flown into Hawaii." The controller queried, " How long has it been?" After a quiet pause, back came the reply, "December 7th, 1941..." .......Heard on the radio early one morning: Tower: "Britannia 7020 Bravo, cleared... Read review

Air Training Corps(ATC) made my boy a young man
Review of Air Training Corps by  jintybee

Advantages: stability, respect for authority, fun and make friends
Disadvantages: none

...About two years ago my family had attended an Air Show at East Fortune in Scotland. It was something we did as a family unit most every year. While we where there we noticed a tent set up for joining the ATC. At the time Christopher my oldest child seemed to take a interest, but as he was only twelve at that time and needed to wait until he was over thirteen before he could join. Christopher had many problems with bullies, and as a result his attitude to life was not very good. He shut his self away in his room, and only played his PS2. He would not go out after all what was the point off him going out to get picked on. Chris got to the stage that he did not even want to goto school, so he got into the habit off going in late or saying that he did not feel well. As parents we realised that this was becoming a major problem. We... Read review

You will go ape over this!
Review of 'Go Ape' (Thetford Forest) by  Jem8472

Advantages: Great fun, lovelly setting, good confidence builder
Disadvantages: A bit expensive.

...but I would say to give it a try Its worth it in the end. I would suggest having fingerless gloves or somthing like that because the ropes do start to hurt your hands after a while. We started the course about 11am and finished just after 2pm so we really had a good amount of time on the course. I really enjoyed it and I want to go back again. Prices:adult £18.00 Under 18's £13.00 Anyone who is under 18 has to has to supervised by an adult. and an adult can supervise upto 5 people as long as not more than 2 of them are under 16. It is a little expensive but it is great fun and if you have always wanted to do this sort of stuff it is a great chance to go for it! Go ape do discounts for group bookings so if your child is in a groupe like the Scouts or ATC (air training Core) ACF (army cadet force) then it would be worth suggesting... Read review

Nervous flyers all you need to know
Review of Economy Class by  Dalesman

Advantages: This may help you to understand what is going on when you fly
Disadvantages: a little information may not help !!

...beacon at Orlando International Airport for Runway 17, so its a Runway change and we'll be making our approach from the south, the Captain adjusts the speed control to the instructed speed by ATC and instructs the First Officer to select the wing flaps in degrees of 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 40 degrees these stages happen at certain points on the Flying Pilots command,so as the speed of the aircraft is reduced and at the appropriate indicated speeds the flying pilot will ask for the flaps to be extended to the next flap setting in the sequence until we are almost at the threshold of the runway when the final flap setting will be called for, so if you are sitting along side the leading or trailing edges of the wings you can see the edges of the wings moving outwards and downwards as the flap settings are increased, doing this increases...
