Advantages: Fab Quality, Records straight onto a DVD, easy to use
Disadvantages: None
...º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º*Canon DC 100*º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤
Well as you probably already know, Canon is a worldwide company and is great for it's cameras and camcorders in particular. I too like canon and also have a digital camera as i have previously reviewed before. They are a well trusted company and sell fantastic products to suit all of our needs and this camcorder does just that.
This is the Canon DC 100. It's picture quality is astounding when capturing those precious memories you'd like to keep and even when taking photographs with this. The lens has a massive 25x optical zoom lens, which really is incredible, Widescreen high resolution recording and 2.7-inch Widescreen LCD display panel. This DC100 model is really easy to use and in particular suits those people who are just starting out at filming- whether that's a career...

*Stunning 7.2 Megapixels*
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W70 by
mightyd
Advantages: Great Quality Pictures- 7.2 Megapixel. light weight and slim line
Disadvantages: None really
...¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤ºFEATURES¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤
The Sony W70 features a brand new function guide and resolution guide. You are able to select menu icons, such as a specific shooting function or scene mode, a simple text explanation is shown on the LCD screen making it much more easier to boost the camera's performance. This function guide can be turned off as you become more familiar with the camera but other than that, it is a great help. And also the resolution guide is helpful when deciding on the best resolution for prints, whether you want small standard sized prints or large poster sized prints. Once you select the resolution after making your choice, a pop-up screen tells you the ideal print size for that particular setting - Great!
This digital camera also has an auto-exposure and multi-point, auto-focus functions. This basically means...

UPDATE: -
After reading the following jokes (well the first one) on
http://www.ciao.co.uk/EverythingthatstartswithYReview5394204
I found out that even with the proper cleaning wipes this monitor is a B*gger to clean! (Lesson to be learned! don’t drink coffee at the comp desk while reading Birkies jokes) Cheers Birky...)**
Further to this and in the current “muggy” weather that we are experiencing thorough the UK I have noticed the large amounts of “Thunder Flies” those little black insects that seem to get everywhere this time of year (You know the ones? You do? Good!)
Well those “thunder Flies” have made their way into the monitor! And they seem to be quite happy, moving around behind the screen where the LCD is housed. How do I know this? Well I can see them moving around as plain as day! Phoned up Philips help desk...

Samsung have done it again!
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 930BF by
tomo1k
Advantages: Extremely fast response, very bright and a good resolution for a clow price
Disadvantages: Imperfect colour rendition - smaller colour gamut than CRT monitors
...(Please note, this reviews the SyncMaster 930B, not the BF version. The two monitors use different stands but are otherwise identical)
Samsung have quite rightly gained a good reputation for manufacturing excellent monitors in the CRT world, and their LCD units have been just as good.
The SyncMaster 930B is no exception - stunningly fast response and extremely bright - so much so that I have never run it anywhere near full brightness!
The resolution is what you'd expect from a 19" screen, although some people would prefer higher resolutions at this diagonal.
It scales down fairly well, although at some lower resolutions an amount of blockyness appears as the internal anti-aliasing fails to cope very well.
The only place this monitor falls down slightly is colour rendition:
Compared to an equivalent CRT monitor, it has...

Proud as Prada
Review of LG KE850 Prada by
trevorbrock
Advantages: Stunning design
Disadvantages: People accuse you of "posing" - as if !
...have found that a USB cable synch with the computer, just does not happen. I am still working on it, but think that the Prada supplied software cd is not recorded properly. I’ll update if I make progress.
It is not cheap. Sim-free and unlocked, they sell for about £350.
They are available on a number of different tariffs.
Mine came on an O2 contract for 12 months, at £25 per month, and cost me nothing. !
You will have to know how to make such a deal, as it does not come on any printed documents in the O2 shops.!!!
Like any lcd screen, bright sunlight does make life a bit more difficult, with the Prada.
Well, I think that is the lot.
If you like to leave particular questions in your comments, I will gladly update in the near future.!...

Hitachi I love your sleek shadow black beast
Review of Hitachi CML174SXWB by
chaoticjelly
Advantages: True 17" size, Good resolution, V good brightness, Ultra fast response time, DVI output, Size, 3 year warranty
Disadvantages: Price, Base does not swivel
...*Description/Introduction*
The Hitachi CML174SXW-B is currently one of the highest specification LCD TFT monitors on the LCD market. I purchased one from CRS Solutions in December of 2002, and I am highly impressed.
The monitor itself is 17" of pure joy, housed in a top quality, sleek black casing.
The looks of the monitor are absolutely superb, and it is excellent for those just wishing to add a bit of style to their desktop.
LCD monitors are becoming ever more popular, and it looks like this particular monitor, and others of its ilk could be the monitors to break the stereotype of slow response, blurry LCD's.
*Specification*
The important bits:
*Screen Size: The screen size is 17 inches, this, unlike CRT (normal) monitors is its true viewable size, measured from top right to bottom left, diagonally. Unlike CRT...

Simple Digital Photography
Review of Ricoh RDC 6000 by
Dohnutter
Advantages: Consistant results
Disadvantages: Poor Digital Zoom
...I've now had my RDC-6000 for a couple of years, and I hope writing this review doesn't tempt fate. It has worked consistently and reliably throughout that time, but with a few teething problems, more down to my inexperience than the fault of the camera. Initially I was trying to use the camera by looking at the LCD display, but could never hold the thing still enough to get the results I wanted. By reverting back to the traditional method of looking through the view finder, there was a marked improvement. The digital zoom is pretty useless, the only way you can zoom in is to look at the LCD, and the wobble becomes progressively more pronounced the more zoom is used ( up to 4 x ). The same results can be achieved with the software when you get the piccys onto your PC
The unit is classed as an image capturing device, and can be also used...

LANDS END TO JOHN O'GROATS (12 MONTHS APART!)
Review of John o'Groats (Scotland) by
kismet
Advantages: ITS THE END OF THE COUNTRY
Disadvantages: Nothing much to see here
...In September 2003 we took a trip to Lands End. I will do a separate review on that, but will just say here that it was very commercialised and cost a fortune.
In September 2004 we went to the Isle of Skye (another separate review already written!) and decided to go on up to John O'Groats so we could have our picture taken by the signpost there (as we already had the Lands End one).
We were amazed when we got to John O'Groats as it is so deserted compared to Lands End, which was nice.
We had booked into a B&B there for the night, but wished we had booked further down as it was a really quiet place and very cold due to it being so exposed! However, we had friends to visit in Caithness, Wick, so could not go too far away.
John O'Groats consists of a large carpark, toilets which you had to pay 20p to use! and a couple of gift shops...
