...I have just bought the Toshiba 28W33B 28in widescreen television and am so amazed at how brillant it is, We didn't pay a fortune for it either, (£279) which makes the very high standard of it even harder to believe. The manual is quite easy to understand bit to much explanation on some things but overall was easy for me to understand Fantastic picture quality one of the best i have seen in a while, shows programs and films in perfect quality, When first switched on you may have to adjust the brightness and colour settings to your own comfortable viewing standard. Menu selections (colour, screen adjustments etc) that come up on the television screen using the remote are easy to understand. Just remember to click on store after altering things! Advantages: Absolutely superb midrange frequencies and very smooth treble. Neutral and yet very atmospheric. Beats many speakers at twice its price.
Disadvantages: Slight problems with three-dimensional reproduction and upper bass overemphasis. Power-hungry and thus critical with some amplifiers.

...B&Q Oil Filled Radiator Bought one of these around 6months ago our heating wasn't going to be working for a couple of weeks so bought this for the bedroom. Went to B&Q as knew they had quite a selection didn't want a huge one as we don't really have much room in the bedroom. We bought it as a replacement for the halogen that we had been using which the dogs kept walking past and singing their tails in. It takes quite a while to heat up even when it is on full power but once it is warm it is more than enough to warm our bedroom up. It has various settings of heat so once the room is warm you can turn it down which is a really useful feature, the dial for doing this how ever does not have numbers on it and I do think it would benefit it if it did so you could turn it down a set amount and know which setting you usually use... You can set music to shuffle or repeat, rate individual tracks, create playlists as long as you like and adjust the equaliser. But, yes, there's a but. When the headset isn't in and it's just playing your ringtone for example, it does sound a bit tinny compare to W850I. This could be because the W880I is a small and thin device whereas W850I was big, fat and bulky. Even the black one that I had sounded better than the silver one that my fiancé's got and they are the same phone. Maybe my pop, soft rock and R'n'B songs sound better on this phone than his indie, rock and metal songs. (Sorry but I do love that line in reference to a classic favourite of mine, The Exorcist) This is one of them movies that you can’t call a ‘Horror Movie’, but it is a Black comedy and that’s my second favourite genre. ...an Alternate Frequency of the same station ID. There are too many features to mention in this write up. The manual is OK and easy to understand. This can be download from the web site beforehand to see how it all fits and is operated. CD Player: You need to release the display to access the cd slot. This again is easy just push the PANEL OPEN button and the front lowers down. By the way this reveals a reset button if the unit needs to be reset. I have played many different format CDs using this unit and all worked, even a CD which had not been finished off. This unit can cope with that. Also multi session CDs. I also tried a DVD full of MP3s but alas that gave DISC ERROR as expected... no harm in trying. COmes with usual facilities as track search, skip, and IDv2 By the way the 45W per channel sound is excellent. Comes with loudness... Read review
