Binatone E3300 Triple Phones
Review of Binatone E3300 by
Cassybobo
Advantages: Stylish practical easy to use
Disadvantages: not backlit on the display and only number displays when recieving a call
...The Binatone E3300 is a good easy to use phone, it is stylish and a nice size, fits in my hand comfortably, Included is clear instructions on how to set the phones up and how to use all the functions of these phones. Well laid out button functions clearly numbered. No fancy or complicated extra functions, sturdy and well designed. The sound is crystal clear, with a good range away from the base. There are 6 different ring tones so you can change to suit your own preference. Very useful to have a phone in 3 seperate rooms. Saves having to run and grab the phone. when you are in a seperate place in your home. Binatone have made these a sturdy practical phone but The number display would benefit from being backlit, and having name as well as number display, (unless you have a good memory). They make a good buy if you are looking...

No need to Bin a tone anymore
Review of Binatone MD 750 by
fairenoughclough
Advantages: Good price, long life
Disadvantages: looks a bit cheap
...Needing a new cordless with answerphone after the demise of the BT freestyle unit which had left a large multinational company with me a couple of years earlier, I visited the obvious stores.
Currys, Dixons and Comet were all much of a muchness, with pretty much the same range of phones at pretty much the same range of prices.
I decided to use service as a differentiator, but again they were all much of a muchness with the staff either unable or unwilling to answer my intercom questions for the sake of a potential £100 sale.
A little research on the internet proved my salvation, I discovered that pretty much all the twin/triple and upwards packs of digital phones on the market had the intercom feature I desired.
Why intercom ? you may ask, We live in a Victorian 3-storey terrace and the childrens rooms are on the third floor...

Binatone MD750 Triple Dect.
Review of Binatone MD 750 by
philrich1064
Advantages: Stylish, Compact, Easy to use, Well made,Good Value for Money.
Disadvantages: Only come in Silver.
...Really good value for your hard earned cash! I was initially sceptical about the maker 'Binatone', I remembered from my distant youth everyone had cheap trannys & music decks made by this company because they couldn't (or wouldn't) afford anything more expensive. Well you live & you learn; These 'phones are a really good buy!!
I got mine off the Internet for just short of a hundred quid including p+p and have seen them advertised since for even less (typical innit?). They are only available in Silver (with a black back) but don't let this put you off, they are really stylish & silver makes them look really cool & expensive!
What do you get for your money?
Well, you get a Triple pack of DECT handsets, which includes 1 base & 2 additional chargers. The 'phones have a digital answering machine system built in and are GAP compatible. You...

Never miss a call.
Review of Binatone E3300 by
Joeyruss
Advantages: Great price, stylish, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Number but no name directory.
...they move their head an inch ..? No thanks .. it had to be digital.
Now I'd always considered Binatone to be the poor relation .. know what I mean? But I've changed my mind. The "e3300 triple" for £99 (depends where you buy it) was a bargain I didn't want to miss out on.
For my £99, I got three handsets, two black and one silver which are stylish and easy to use. They feel great when you're using them and look good when you're not. They're not overloaded with gimmicky extras but they do have all the features you'd expect and use such as Caller Display, phone book, last number recall, choice of ringtones etc. etc. The only thing it doesn't have is the option to key in the name of the person to attach to a number in your phone book. That's too bad 'cause when you get a call that's listed in your phone book, its so much easier to see the name...

Hello, Is that Sammy snake speaking?
Review of Binatone MA 760 QUAD by
LeopardLili
Advantages: range of features, inexpensive, solid handsets
Disadvantages: intereference on line.
...For some reason we have some problems with our phone extension sockets so we've relied on one phone for the last 6 months. This wouldn't be a problem except the main line into the house is in a bedroom and I spend most of my time downstairs. As soon as I discovered that only the main unit of these DECT phones had to be plugged into the phone line I knew that this what what I needed.
I chose the Binatone MA760 triple with answerphone as it sneaked under my budget of £50 and reviews of other Binatone systems had been acceptable. This was bought in Argos so there wasn't much opportunity to handle the phones before purchase.
The system comes in a fairly compact box and the contents are all individually wrapped. There is a lot of packaging. The instructions are on a fold out sheet and are reasonably easy to follow. Rechargeable...

Binatone MD750 Triple Pack
Review of Binatone MD 750 by
colinmilne
Advantages: Good looking phone at a cracking price
Disadvantages: Display a little difficult to read
...Bought this triple pack for £49.95 from Comet and for this you get 3 phones, main base station, two satellite stations, phone lead, batteries etc. The phones are good to look at and reasonably stylish. They have an appearance similar to any number of mobile phones (12 cm long), though the silver finish is perhaps on the cheap side compared to the likes of Nokkia etc but then again these are a fraction of the price!
I must confess however that not all went well with my initial purchase. My first pack had problems with the phones 'dropping out' ie losing the signal and going into search mode. After trying various things suggested in the manual I phoned the Binatone help number and a very helpful woman immediately confirmed that there was a fault. Took them back to Comet and had them replaced no problem. So far the second set has performed...

Phones in almost every room
Review of Binatone MD2000/2 by
lisa1907
Advantages: phone more to hand now
Disadvantages: none
...you can intercom between phones so you can get your love ones with out getting to you feet great for a lie in on a sunday.
You can buy more handsets and register them with the phones you already have as lons as its the same product this will work.
You can also aswer a call and transfer it to another phone in the house for them to answer it do need to get off the chair and hand them the phone.
I think we bought these phones at currys or dixons for about 60 pounds for the triple set which was good value for money at the time. cames with a years guarantee and service.
It's all very simple to use and we ahve used most of the features no problem we have had this phone now for awhile and they have never went wrong I am sure we have drop them a few times too and never broke. Mosty people think binatone is cheap and nasty but I dont think so at all...

Upstairs, downstairs - in the lady's chamber ....
Review of Binatone MD 1500/4 by
Minha
Advantages: Phones everywhere you need them
Disadvantages: Do not work when power fails
...fitting.
We decided on one we found with three handsets but it was out of stock! The next one we liked was the Binatone MD1500 Quad. The Micro Digital Cordless Telephone has four handsets (hence: Quad) however, it does also come as a single, twin or triple. Our choice meant that we had the main phone plus three additional handsets and three charger pods. Each handset (there is no difference) is powered by two rechargeable NiCad batteries. The base unit and each charger pod have to be connected to the electricity supply in order to keep the batteries fully charged. The base unit also has to be connected to the telephone line of course. The initial charging time for the handsets is 15 hours. The MD 1500 has a REN of 1 regardless of the amount of handsets so therefore equates to a single phone in this manner.
The general appearance...

Rebel Without A Cord
Review of Binatone MD 2000 TWIN by
lwperkins
Advantages: Easy to use, feature packed, cheap
Disadvantages: Makes annoying beeps if you knock it
...of other little features like the facility to store 40 numbers in a ‘phone book’, hands free speakerphone and paging/call transfer/intercom facility.
You can buy this phone as I did as an individual handset and base unit, which retails between £49.99 and £59.99 or as a duo pack with two handsets or a triple pack with three. It also comes without an answering machine, but as its only £5 cheaper you may as well go for the answering machine option. Its available in most electrical retail outlets although I eventually bought mine from Index.
For the price, its obviously not the best on the market in terms of quality, but for general domestic use its excellent really feature packed but clear and simple to use. I’ve heard bad things about Binatone but I’m completely satisfied and would highly recommend this phone.
I still haven’t worked out how...

Say 'hello' to a cheap and cheerful phone!
Review of Binatone Speakerphone 100 by
flo90
Advantages: A really good quility phone for its pirce
Disadvantages: It's not perfect
...Binatone is a world renowned and very trustworthy company.
The Binatone Speakerphone 100 is a cheap phone with lots of features. It can store up to 13 numbers, recall has a secracy feature and you can pause and redail. It also has a speajerphone option which has a red lcd light for when it is on. The speakerphone is very clear and can be heard over ten paces away.
Now I won't lie, it's not the BEST phone out there, but it is pretty good for it's price. it doesn't look super classy or anythingbut is brilliant for a first home, office, or just as a cheap phone with lots of features. It can either hang neatly on the wall, or lie on a surface making it compatable with everyones home!
Although it is corded the cord is reasonably long, but if it's not long enough, you can always put it on speakerphone.
Sadly it is not availible anymore...
