Prince Indoor NFS II Squash Shoe
Review of Squash Shoes by
Eldred
Advantages: Comfortable, Durable, Fashionable, Protective
Disadvantages: Fairly Expensive
...Playing squash 4 or 5 times a week every week of the year necessitates the purchase of a comfortable and durable squash shoe.
I have recently purchased my third successive pair of Prince Indoor NFS II Squash Shoes. They are not the most expensive shoe on the market by any means but I think they provide the best value for money.
On average, I find each pair lasts me for a year, which considering the wear and tear that they have to undergo is pretty good.
There are not many on-line sites which sell squash shoes, and for those that do there is fierce and competitive pricing. My most recent pair were purchased over the internet and cost me £29.99 + postage and packing.
This year a fashionable 'blue' colour has been added to the range, previously, only black and white were available.
As well as the above factors, the other feature...

Shuffle down to Shoe Express
Review of Shoe Express (Shop) by
duskmaiden
Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: no personal service. not for children's shoes as no measuring
...this is a common problem to all shoe shops. I tend to always come out of a shoe shop with a Mary Jane style shoe with a small heel. This time I was brave and came out with a plain pair of black court shoes with a chunky heel that was quite high for me. I felt really grown up when wearing them. They were £8 in the sale a bargain. I also think the shop caters for a wide range of ages. Sizewise they are average as in the ladies they stock size 3-8. Unfortunate they do not stock wider fitting shoes. One width fits all.
Quality
I have bought quite a few pairs of shoes from Shoe Express and they have lasted just as long as more expensive shoes. In fact some of them have been harder wearing.
Customer Service.
I would not recommend this store for those with young children, as there is no shoe measuring service or any individual service at all unlike...

The bargin basement of the shoe shop world
Review of Shoe Express (Shop) by
7sefton
Advantages: Inexpensive shoes to search through yourself, and you might just find the perfect match for what your looking for.
Disadvantages: It's everyone for himself in this shoe jungle, if they don't have you size, it's hard lines.
...Shoe Express is one of those really strange and infuriating shops that one week have excellent shoes in and the next a load of expensive rubbish. A 'bargin basement' kind of shop, for people who don't mind that sort of thing.
But the area Shoe Express is known for is the kids shoes. It is fairly consistant on this front, with the prices reasonable. They are also the place to go when your child needs those cheap, black, pump things for school PE lessons that no self-respecting shoe shop would even concider to sell, or those tacky jelly shoes that only seem to appear for sale on Blackpool's beach side shops. And inexpensive black leather school shoes are sold by the bucket load in this shop.
I'm not saying that it's no good for adults, just not my kind of shop. If you have sharp ellbows and like the thrill of the chase...

Shoes, shoes, shoes....wahahaha!
Review of Shoe Zone by
leofluffy69
Advantages: lots of cheap, high quality shoes!
Disadvantages: customer service not great!
...OF SHOES
-----------------------------
I bought a pair of sparkly blue sequined shoes back in May for my summer holidays. I wore them every day for a month and still wearing them today and they are as good as when I bough them. The soles are very strong. Unlike many cheap shoe brands the sole has not peeled away and the sequins are all still intact. They are very comfortable and can be worn for very long periods of time without getting blisters or rubbings. These shoes were only £4.99 and I cant believe how much wear I have had out of them.
I also bought a flat pair of black shoes for while I was on teaching practice. I really wanted a comfortable pair of shoes that I could wear all day without having to hobble home. They felt like slippers and were very posh. Working in a school I really don't want to wear expensive shoes as they will only get...

An enjoyable shopping trip for children
Review of Clarks (Shop) by
lorna_call
Advantages: Good quality shoes, personal service, well fitted.
Disadvantages: Perhaps a little expensive
...with the hidden toy. A successful visit.
We pad for the shoes £30.00 for my daughter's shoes and £32.00 for my son's shoes. Clarks shoes are a little expensive but I have found that the shoes last until well after Christmas and because they are so well fitted the children have no problems with the shoes hurting. Both pairs of shoes are traditional black school type shoes, made of leather with Velcro fastenings. I have no complaints about the standard of service we received in the shop and when we paid the children were given their own bag with a balloon, a ruler and a small chocolate bar, to them it was like a day out rather than a shopping trip.
The children were very pleased with their purchases and when we went out to the car they insisted on showing my husband what they had got, just as well as it diverted a potentially disastrous situation. My...

Cheap and cheerful shoes
Review of Shoe Express (Shop) by
mandrea
Advantages: cheap, friendly and helpful staff, no haggle refund
Disadvantages: limited stock and sizes
...Being somewhat of a shoeaholic, barely a week goes by when i dont buy a new pair. So on a recent trip to the Cooper centre in Burton on trent, i was delighted to see a big yellow sign in the Shoe express window with the immortal words on it " HALF PRICE SALE".
Compared to many of the "bargain" shoe shops, Shoe express somehow appears a bit classier than the others. The shoes are all stacked neatly in rows, with no sign of any strewn on the floor or mismatched pairs next to each other.
The shop is laid out as many would expect: Ladies shoes to left, with different areas for dressy shoes, practical shoes, trainers etc... and the mens is to the right, again with different types of shoe in different areas. The mens section did not appear to be as well stocked as the ladies and mostly consisted of black or brown practical shoes with a small...

nike mercurial iv
Review of Nike Mercurial II SG by
betterthenever
Advantages: light good looking
Disadvantages: scrath easily
...are black and blue and orange and black i have the black and blue and my brother has the orange and black . These shoes make people notice so if you want to stand out and make people look these are the shoes for you and if you want to be able to run at top speed with nothing holding you back these also are the shoes for you .
When you buy the shoes they have little lines of multicolur on the actual shoes they are hardly visible but they look really cool . They come off after a while as they wear off but they look really good . The shoes are shiny and stay shiny so there is no need to polish them but the orange ones do need a bit of cleaning because of the colour and you can see the dirt easily
The price .
These shoes are quite new so if you want the astroturfs they are for £40 without the lace cover and about £60 with it . The lace cover make...

HOLE IN MY SHOE....
Review of Linzi Shoe Shop by
allyb2003
Advantages: Bright airy shop, well laid out
Disadvantages: young school leavers, no seniority
...I recently had to purchase a new pair of shoes and went along to this shop, Linzi shoes, who apparently only have branches within the Essex area.
I came across them by mistake waiting for my bus one night before Christmas they were open for late night shopping.
I went in (was the only one in there at the time). The shop is very bright which is good as you can get the details of the shoes/boots and easily see the pricing etc.
They have a very good selection of shoes and boots. I opted for a slip on pair of black low heeled shoes with a diamonte star on each of the shoes.
I asked if they did half sizes, was looked at like I was mad and subsequently told no. I then asked for my size, no smiles no "yes i'll check for you".
The "young lady" then came back with my size, I tried them on and they fitted. She came over and was very...

Stunning Shoes for Grown-Up Girls
Review of Next (Shop) by
Elanor
Advantages: Great shoes at a fraction of the price of other shops
Disadvantages: Getting strange looks from small children
...I was recently looking for some comfortable, summery shoes. I'd seen some lovely pink ones in Faith (eeek! £45!) and some even nicer pale blue ones in Dune (even worse, £50!!) but was not prepared to pay that much for shoes which I imagine will wear out fairly quickly, or stop being fashionable within six months.
There are lots of this type of shoe around: flat soled, pastel colours, many with elastic T-bars or straps, ballerina-style. They have a retro-look to them, perfect for the current 50s-inspired fashions.
Having almost given up on my quest, I ventured into Next. All the shoes seemed to be black or brown, or had ridiculously high heels. Almost accidentaly, I stumbled across the Children's Department....
It was a revelation! The shoe section was as large as the adults' shoe section, but much much prettier. Pastel colours...

Easy clean...
Review of Clarks Shumagic by
danielalong
Advantages: Cleans shoes in a jiffy
Disadvantages: More expensive than traditional shoe cleaner
...SHUMAGIC
Having had three children and the obligatory horribly scuffed school shoes, I always buy a tube of this whenever I buy a new pair of shoes, because it does actually save me lots of shoe cleaning time.
**THE PRODUCT**
The polish comes in a 50ml tube with a screw off lid. Open the lid to reveal the sponge- invaluable because it means that no longer do you have to suffer polish on your hands.
The actual polish is sold in a range of colours (the one I have at the moment is black) and is a non smelly high dye liquid. The liquid is just the right consistency to make it ideal for the task in hand, and is not overly runny.
**HOW TO USE IT**
This really is very simple, and perfect for people who dislike polishing shoes. All you have to do is squeeze the tube and some f the liquid will move down onto the sponge. Then, using...
