For around £12.99 you can pick up a pair of these in your local Outdoors store like Blacks, though, just in case you missed out! Im going to begin my review with a strange fact:- "the average pair of feet has over 200,000 skin pores". Which science boff discovered that! Thank god we don't have that many on our faces otherwise Oxy and Clearasil would be rolling in billions, especially the hard work your feet are put through! Back to the product now though. ...A few weeks ago my nephews and niece came to sleep at my house, my youngest nephew wanted me to read a story before he went to bed and Fox in Socks by Dr Seuss was the one he picked. I gave him a choice of Dr Seuss books but he chose this one, as he'd never heard it before. Dr Seuss (pseudonym of Theodor Seuss Geisel) was born on 2nd March 1904 and died on 24th September 1991. During his lifetime he wrote nearly 50 children's books. He was probably most famous for The Cat in the Hat, which has also been made into a film. The whole book is written in rhyme which I think makes it more enjoyable for the children listening. The general story line is Mr Fox is trying to get Mr Knox to lots of different tongue twisters but poor Mr Knox just cannot get his tongue around them (I don't blame him - I found some of them pretty difficult... ...’ This to be honest would probably be my favorite of all (I love all 3 series but this has to be the funniest!). In this episode you are introduced to Bernard who has his accountant flee from the police so is therefore faced with doing his own taxes – you’ll watch Bernard go through a number of options to avoid doing these, such as getting drunk with Jehovah’s witnesses, pairing socks and being beaten up by skin heads!! Manny is also introduced in this episode as an accountant who comes into ‘Black Books’ to buy the little book of calm on his way to work – as the day goes on he’s is taken to hospital as he somehow manages to swallow it! Fran, Bernard’s friend is also introduced – Fran owns the shop next door (full of odds and sods) and spends the episode trying to figure out what the unfathomable sphere she has ordered to sell in her shop actually does... Do not however, be afraid to act on impulse, some of the best pairs of socks i have were bought in a moment of insanity. The function of the sock is the thing to be most considered. Office Wear The usual choice in this case is black, although grey can be just as acceptable. Brightly coloured socks can work, but NOT WHITE. ...dangerous, because you lose your ability to accurately place them because they have gone numb! Tripping and stumbling can occur. Wet feet tend to blister too, but its not something that happens to me thankfully! Sealskinz claim to prevent a lot of these difficulties by making their socks waterproof and breathable, seems like a contradiction. The innermost layer is Merino wool. This is very soft to the touch, quite springy. It is finer than "traditional" wool and exhibits antibacterial properties. It however has a high lanolin content which is a warning for those with lanolin allegies. The middle layer comprises of a membrane made of Porelle. This is microporous. This does not allow the larger water droplets through (or mud and sheep poo!) but does allow water vapour or sweat out. The outermost layer on these socks is black and somewhat... Read review

...of the lamer excuses – they might do it because they don’t have proper shoes. The number of people who might resort to this explanation is very low but I include it here so that you are prepared for when the day comes that someone might utter these very words. You have been forewarned. Solution: Buy some £2.99 flip flops or cheap trainers, there really is no excuse, particularly lame ones like this. ARE THEY SOCKAHOLICS? We have to admit, some people are just sock aficionados, and I myself loved the Sock shop for a while because of their glorious selection of vibrant and different socks. A retired sockaholic, I now sport trainer socks when at the gym and plan black ones for when wearing jeans, so I have lost my love of socks in a way. ...My nearest Primark is 20 miles away, but I find it well worth visiting for all those essential clothes itlems that we cannot manage without. By that I mean underwear and socks. Socks - £2 for a pack of 5 pairs of trainer socks (choose from all white, all black, various mixed colours). They wash and wear as well as M&S at more than twice the price. Undies - I have two teenage girls, always growing. Primark's T-shirt bras (at £4) are at least £2 cheaper than anywhere else. Their multiway bras (ie, normal, strapless, halter) are only £5. These both come in white and black (plus possibly other colours such as skintone, but we don't look at anything other than white and black).
