...Well now, Smarties Black and White are just regular Smarties, but in Black and White shells. The idea is that a burglar has run off with the coloured Smarties (he is pictured on the tube) and if you find a coloured Smartie that he has missed inside your packet, you win a spot prize. My question then, is this... What's to stop you buying a coloured tube and a Black and White tube and putting a coloured Smartie in with your Black and Whites right? It's not like they are saying the the coloured Smartie will be a particular colour, so how will they know? I can only assume that they have thought of this and if you try it they'll blow you a big raspberry and all you get for your trouble is two packs of Smarties - I can only hope this is not a humungous marketing gaff! ...This was one of the first mascaras to have the white coating to put on first. Since then many others have been released. Packaging It comes in a tube with two wands, one either side. One end is white and other black. In the middle you have the label which is also black and white. It says XXL volume + length micro-fibre mascara. It says which side is which. The mascara Each contains 5ml of mascara. The instructions on the packet tell you to put the white on first and then immediately put the black mascara on. The white is meant for extra length and the black for extra volume. The white wand brush is not too thin or too thick and the black brush is thick (I guess this would be to get the volume). ...Black and white is a game with a lot of promise in it as it gives you the opportunity to raise a village and build it up, grow a creature to battle other creatures and to attack other villages, as well as to cast great spells such as fireballs and thunder storms. The spells are great fun as you unleash them by moving your mouse in a particular pattern; this makes it much easier to wreak havoc and is a good addition to the game. The creatures are also good but can be annoying at times when they fail to co-operate with you and end up wrecking your own village, this game can be frustrating in many other ways too and contains a lot of bugs that could detract from peoples enjoyment. ...To be honest this is the only filter you'll really need for Black and White photography. It's a bit more expensive but in this case it's really worth paying out that bit extra as otherwise you just won't get the same results. It gives a great effect to the picture and really makes it more dramatic, especially when taking photographs of landscapes and pictures with a large amount of sky in them. Not many filters have a similiar quality to this one, it provides a good strong colour for the best filter and it's prety much indestructable as far as I've seen - I've dropped mine all over the place! Whether you're just starting out as a photographer or an experienced one you should have this filter in your collection - it changes the feel and general appearance of all black and white photographs.... ...Maybelline XXL Volume Length Microfiber Mascara is fantastic for long, thick and seperated lashes which every woman longs for! This packaging is in black and white and gives it a 60's retro look which is quite appealing and in the 60's they used to have fantastic long lashes which is probably the whole point they were trying to get across. The mascara has two wands at either ends and one end has White mascara and the other end is Black or whatever colour you have bought (Available in very Black, Soft black and Brownish Black.) Step one (White end) is for a dramatic effect. This is what I would describe as a base coat which lengthens and thickens your lashes and the more you put on obviously it dramatises the effect but remember that you cannot take too long doing this otherwise the product will dry up and you will not be able to apply... It is in direct competition to Ilfords own muiltigrade paper system. The same rules for grading apply to both brands with Jessops being at least two pounds cheaper for each size.
