This is not my car but my son's. After doing a lot of research, he set his heart on a 2003 BMW320Cd in dark blue, nothing else would do. As he's on tour in Afghanistan, I'm looking after it for him for the next few months. It's certainly a stunning looking car and polishes up well. Well the car seems to be fitted with 18" alloy wheels and extremely low profile tyres - 225/40ZR18 at the front and 225/40ZR18 at the rear. I've had my 320d SE for around 18 months now (20k miles). I love this car, it's great to drive and it's never let me down. Running costs are lower than I expected, I've had to replace one tire due a puncture for about £90 (it's a run flat tire and I was able to keep running on the flat until i could get to the garage). Wonderful vehicle - you get into to it after admiring the bulk & lines to be greeted by comfort, smoothness & power! Not to mention the feeling of having something of substance between you & the road! It's downsides are that it needs care & attention in these later years of it's life & the petrol consumption is very painful on the wallet!
