Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum
Review of Boots No.7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum by
xtina1
Advantages: Silky smooth skin immediately
Disadvantages: none that i can think of
...Last Christmas I decided to change my skincare range as i was not satisfied with it. I bought Boots No 7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum along with there Day and Night creams. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a beautiful makeup bag filled with sample products from the No 7 range. It is wonderful to be rewarded for buying a product. The Serum itself is light and refreshing. You can feel the difference immediately, your skin feels silky smooth. It absorbs easily into the skin and is not at all oily. After a week of using it I could see a marked improvement. It really does what it says it will do. I find that is very reasonably priced. There always seems to be a special offer on the No7 range too which is a bonus....

very comfortable but problem with zips
Review of Mountain Horse Sportive High Rider by
SASO1
Advantages: comfortable and good to ride in
Disadvantages: zip broke so not very durable
...I have a pair of these boot and there are many positives about them but one big negative.
Positives
1. Very comfortable from the start no rubbing at all
2. Look smart
3. Easy to put on as have zip
4. Plenty of room for wooly socky and enough room for wearing with jeans
5. Reasonable price for leather boots
6. Comfortable for riding and yard work
7. Leather doesnt stretch or become baggy round the ankle.
Major negative
The zip broke after about 18 months. I wore them 3-4 a week for riding and occasional yard work so not alot of heavy duty use. I love these boots so much I took them to the shoe menders and they said it would cost £60 to mend the zip. Luckily I have managed salvage them as fray was near the bottom of the boot and I could stitch the boot shut and still get my foot in and out without having to unstitch it and it stopped...

Review of Boots No 7- Colour Lock Nail Enamel by
mumsymary
Advantages: nice coloured nails
Disadvantages: ?
...This week I shall be wearing nothing on my feet except for a pair of sandals and some number 7 nail Varnish.
Number 7 is a boots product and I notice number 7 has relaunched this year changing its products. I am not sure if the old number 7 range is still available.
Boots launched number 7 products in 1935. I have bought number 7 since about 1970 when I was Sweet 16. Number7 have always been an affordable product that is quite good and of course easily purchased in Boots stores in the high street.
The nail varnish I am using is about a year old and is number 7-colour lock. I am not sure of its price but the new number 7 range is £6 .00p for 10 mls. I look at my bottle there are 15 mls in it.
There is a reasonable colour range in number 7 nail varnishes. Mine is a pink cannot quite see what pink the words have rubbed off the bottle...

Full Marks to Boots No. 7
Review of Boots No 7- Colour Lock Nail Enamel by
VerySpecialOne
Advantages: Wide range of stunning colours to tempt you
Disadvantages: None
...For my birthday I received a set of three Boots No. 7 nail varnishes. I eargerly tried the first one, and discovered a nail varnish that really does what it says on the bottle. This nail varnish is really easy to apply, the brush is slim and fine and paints nail evenly. The nail varnish dries in about two minutes and is smudge resistant. The colour is also long lasting, and after four days wear I noticed that my nails were not chipped or damaged but still looked perfect. My nails felt protected and strengthened with the use of these nail varnishes.
The colours that I got in my set were beautiful and I have sinced checked out the full range in my local Boots store. The range is wide and varied from pretty pinks and purples to glittering golds and stunning silvers. The price is also very reasonable, at around £4 for each nail varnish...

For my eyes only
Review of Boots No.7 Ultimate Defining Mascara by
anwar
Advantages: see review
Disadvantages: see review
...I am a great fan of no 7 products as I think they are great value and equally as good as the more expensive products I've tried. Boots have recently re vamped their no 7 make up range and Boots No 7 ultimate defining mascara has evolved into No 7 natural definition mascara. I have always used ultimate defining mascara and had been very happy with it, so is the renamed product as good?
What you get for your money
*************************
No 7 natural definition mascara costs £8.50 for a 10 ml tube, which when compared to other brands is reasonable. At present if you spend £15 or more on No 7 products you get a free lipstick. Boots also award advantage points on most purchases too.
The mascara comes in a round shaped black plastic container with gold writing. The packaging is very sexy and stylish and certainly implies...

Not your average boot
Review of Burton Moto by
joe_edd
Advantages: Comfort, speed lacing, nice design
Disadvantages: None
...These are the first snowboarding boots I have bought. I purchased them on the 06/01/07. I paid £120, but lucky I had a £30 voucher so got them cheaper. Purchased them from snow and rock, one of the UKs leading out door specialists.
These boots offer a lot of comfort, they have too. You are in them for about 7-8 hours a day when you go snowboarding. Burton technology has changed a lot; they have on most of them "speadzone lacing". Instead of having laces, you have two pulls, the idea is when they boots start to loose up, you just give these a pull and they tighten the boots for you. They work really well. One is for the bottom, over the toes, and the other is for the top around the ankle area.
These boots are designed for beginners as they have a soft flex. This means they are softer, the higher the flex the more responsive they are...

stays put!
Review of Boots No 7 Colour Lock Lipcolour by
jo1l
Advantages: stays put great range of colours
Disadvantages:
...Boots no7 lipsticks are a really great range of lipsticks that are excellent value for money . They are very reasonable priced and as this one really does stay put you dont need to keep on applying it so they really do last. There is an excellent range of colours so you are bound to find one that you like in this range. The lipstick glides on and does not drag like some lipsticks do. It leaves your lips feeling moisturised and soft. Try it and see for your self I would definetly recommend these lipsticks....

Boot's 17
Review of Boots No 7- Colour Lock Nail Enamel by
laurajones
Advantages: colours
Disadvantages: drying time, cost
...Usually, one would expect you could rely on a well known company but i'm affraid when i bought a Boots 17 nail varnish priced at just under £3, i felt ripped off. OK, you can't complain about the range of colours available but once you get it on, it really doesn't seem to want to dry!! After putting the first coat on, you may be thinking it dries quite quickly, however, when you read the instructions which tell you to put 2-3 coats on, you are very disappointed. Arter the second coat, you have to wait about 5 mins until it dries and even then it chips really easily. Sorry Boots, but i wont be buying your nail varnish again!!...

It works for me.
Review of Boots No.7 Instant Radiance Concealer by
fluff2
Advantages: compact, easy to use.
Disadvantages: need to snap down top hard to close it.
...Istarted to need a concealer after the birth of my little girl, iam sure we ve all been there. I decided to try boots no 7 brand purely because of price, not cheap but doesnt break the piggy bank and the advisor in boots was very helpful. i was shown how to blend in and use the product. You have to press the bottom of the pen a few times to start .the concealer has a nice texture and went on well and doesnt look like youve caked it on the pale colour blended in really well. each time you use the concealer you must make sure you snap shut the top or it will come off easily in your handbag. Overall a very good product for the price and i will continue to use it....

Boots the opticians
Review of Boots Opticians [TV Advertisement] by
Ciren
Advantages: it would have been closer but eyes come first
Disadvantages: a lot of worry which neednt have been
...When my daughter needed her eyes tested we thought we would go to Boots opticians. We chose boots because they were in the town 7 miles away instead of having to travel to the next big town and also because they had an appointment free on that Saturday which meant no waiting and no time off school. What a mistake.
She had her eyes tested and was told she would need glasses. Being a teenager she had designer ones and was happy. Aweek after she had them fitted the headaches started. Went to the doctors finally as we thought surely it could not be her eyes as she had just had them tested.
The Doctor found nothing wrong and said it must be the glasses and to take her back. Boots told us all was well it was probably being a teenager and all the school exams and eyes change very quickly. This in one week?
We took her to Dolland...
