...The product I bought was the Diamond HomeFree Networking Kit comprising of 2 ISA cards, an intruction sheet and an installation CD. (Its worth noting the cards also come in PCI and PCMCIA flavours) Installation was a breeze. Drop the cards into a spare slot, power on and install the CD on request. After that you choose a name for each PC (up to 8 in a network) and a name for the workgroup and your done. After that protocols and services can be added in the usual way. The speed of the system was also very good, I was averaging just under the quoted speed of 1mega bit per second (100kbytes) and the PCs communicated admirably at up to 160 meters apart. If you want to set-up a small network at the office or at home without the fuss of cables then this is a very viable solution. A cheaper, faster solution is some ordinary cards and a reel... ...I bought this reel in June to use mainly for my Salmon fishing First impressions are that it looks a good reel and is attractively finished It is fitted with an aluminum spool but also comes complete with two spare spools which are of the graphite type The reel is very smooth, running on 7 ball bearings, and the drag is adjusted by means of a 'dial knob' on the rear of the casing. I have to say I am impressed by the quality of the drag and it has been tested several times with some hard running Salmon. Line recovery is very good with it as the reel has a ratio of 5:1 The reel is fitted with a standard handle but also comes with a 'double' handle as a spare. ...Flymo Vision Compact 380 I have never owned a flymo but after moving house and inheriting a lawn which was a little uneven i decided to go for a new flymo as they were recommended for lawns which are a bit more uneven. I bought this model for £120 and found it easy to put together. The handle needed attaching along with the blade on the bottom and the easy reel assembly. Easyreel: This is probably the best thing about this lawnmower. It simply works like a hosepipe reel and simply winds in your cable when finished cutting the garden. A good feature and keeps the cable neat, tidy and out of the way. It does make the lawnmower rather heavy when it is would in. Cutting heights: This model is supposed to have adjustable cuting heights from 38mm-12mm. I have this on the lowest setting but must admit that i am very dissappointed... Read review

Coming from shimano's range of big pit reels and very similair to the previous best selling bio master, the xsa carries many new and improved features. Advantages: Everything. These reels are the dogs bits.
Disadvantages: Maybe the fact that when the freespool is on you have to turn the reel handle a full 1/2 a turn to engage the clutch. Can be a bit daunting when you first start using the reel and your used to picking up the rod and striking before reeling in.

...After over 25 years of fishing and in that time i have swapped many reels and am always looking for a better deal. Anything that comes on the market that makes fishing easier is always worth a look. The shimano baitrunner is truely the bees knees when it comes to carp fishing, and at a very resonably price. i know the daiwa emblem's are good but for quality and price you can't beat the Shimano. The first thing that strikes you about the reels is he quality. Just looking at one and you can see that it has been made with hard fighting fish in mind. Which ever one you decide on and there are a few. you will not be dissappointed. You get all the lingo with it like line lay, ball bearings, anti-reverse gearing, all is a bit much for an average angler. Advantages: Fantastic quality for a budget real!!

...This is an excellent reel by no mistake. I have had this reel for 3 years and fished many gravel pits around the UK using it. The RE reel shares many of the same features that the more expensive GTE range has including the Shimano's patented Aero Wrap system, Rotor Cast Control and Positive Bail. This is designed to prevent any problems whiles casting long distance. Using the 8000 versions loaded with 15lb line the casting ability is amazing! More than adequate for the UK size lakes. The main difference between the RE range the GTE range is that the GTE has 3 more ball bearings. This means that the GTE by comparison is lot smoother and allows for better handling. ...I own a 6000 series. Yes, it is quite big but actually it weigh the same as the 5500 series, and with added line capacity and more recovery per handle turn, it was an easy decision for me. Before this reel, my collection were mostly on 4000 series sort of size and capacity consist of few good name (shimano, daiwa, abu garcia). That was before I started shore fishing. A few thing that I learned that lead me on buying this particular reel were: 1. Shallow pit reel can't get the casting distance to beat the wave break. Bigger diameter released line smoother and better, hence greater distance. 2. Small handle and small handle turn make me feel like my reel is 'vulnerable' . With relatively smaller gearing relative to the size, it does reduce the lifespan. 3. I need big and comfortable handle grip for repeated casting and retrieving. 4... Read review

...I have been fishing for many years,all types of fishing course,game,sea an have found that every Okuma sea reel i've bought has lasted the test of time. It has failed now,an has been replaced with a pro dap 65 an epix ep 80 both very affordable an very reliable. These reels seem to last forever. I'm not sure if okuma makes other tackle,i heard they do float but have not seen them in england. So if your listing okuma well done i rate you 5 stars for ease of use,durability ,anvalue for money ,if i find another reel thats lasted 20 years as a first sea reel ,i'll eat this report. The only thing wrong with reels noweer days is the weight,to heavy. if your using it all day,that makes all the difference,well done again... Read review

...When I was a young mum I used to do a lot of sewing and I saved the empty cotton reels I bought some shoelaces and gave the cotton reels and shoelaces to my small daughter when she was about 2 yrs old. We spent many happy hours threading the cotton reels on to shoe laces making necklaces, crowns and bracelets. Some of the cotton reels were plain coloured some red and blues. Since then I have used cotton reels for threading in schools and nurseries but not ones saved by industrious mums, but ones we have bought from galt toys. They are identical to the ones you buy with cotton thread on except these are brightly coloured red green yellow blue. They come with a threading cord too. Advantages: Attractive, quick to boil, cordless

...On the plus side, this kettle looks smart, has a 360 degree swivel cordless base, and excess cable can be reeled in to the base for safety. There's a power on indicator and it's easy to see how much water is in there. It's more powerful than many at 3kW so boils quickly, and has an easy-clean flat element at the bottom. The capacity of 1.7 litres is more than most too. We liked the easy-open lid which does not spring back like some (and so risk scolding with boiling droplets). A useful safety feature is that removing the kettle from the base switches the kettle off, so if you remove it just before it has boiled and return it empty, it won't then run dry.
