...Background to Vanguard Until I started to write this review I had no idea who they were. I searched online and read a few reviews about the company. The company specialise in manufacturing camera bags, binoculars, tripods and cases for guns to name a few products. This companies customers include major camera manufacturers. Vanguard Camera Case For a camera case it is a low priced entry level camera case used to hold, store and allow the user to move around with a camera inside the pouch. The camera case is black coloured throughout. The case has the Vanguard's logo encased on the closing part of the pouch. Also the material is polyester and I suppose that it is good that it is not made from leather as the leather in the summer weather reacts to the heat. Kodak.co.uk, interestingly, do not sell direct but instead direct you to the likes of DABS, Argos and PC World. The cheapest supplier I could find at the time of writing is Amazon at £14.65 including P&P. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CAREBEAR's BOTTOM LINE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a fairly well designed, sturdy case, which apart from the niggles relating to the side pockets is ideally suited to carrying all your stuff in the field. It is well padded, constructed of strong, non-rip material and offers good water resistance. DO NOT however purchase it if you have a DX6490 as it is simply not suitable. ...in battery and also has a slot for AAA cell the built in battery automatically charged when you attach camera to the computer via usb. and it saves much battery cost.and i like this feature very much. Accessories Comes With Camers: I recieved the follwing accessories with camera Camera camera bag hand strap usb cable Tv out cable manual installation cd Lcd : The Lcd of this camera is very small and not so effecient to see picture very easily.but anyways you can view that the picuter is ok or not or you have to take pic again. ...After I was brought my new digital Kodak Easyshare CX6330 camera for Christmas, which I also reviewed (hint, hint) and got over the initial disappointment of it not coming already equipped with a case, I decided that I would have to buy one. Or face the possibility of a broken/cracked/scratched camera, knowing how clumsy I am. As I'm not really an experienced/passionate photographer, therefore wouldn't be carrying a great deal of equipment around with me, I decided that a small Kodak bag would do me just fine, opposed to the medium, large and premium ones that are also on the market. ...shooting modes, 1st is normal shooting mode, 2nd is portrait, 3rd is landscape, 4th is landscene, 5th is self portrait and the 6th and final one is movie mode. On movie mode you can record for up to 30 seconds and can also watch it back on your television, although it does not record sound. You can also load it on to your computer, as it is compatible with QuickTime. The software for the computer, is very easy to load and it comes with its own USB cable, which is a decent length. Even though it doesnt come with any extra accessories, in shops they usually give you a discount on the pack, when you buy the camera. The pack standardly contains the carry case and another memory card for the camera. For around £100 depending on where your shopping, i think its the best digi cam you'll be able to get with that money! Happy Snapping!... Read review

...and it had been round the world, so it had a good innings in my view and it was probably a really quick fix so someone got a bargain. I would absolutely recommend this camera even as a spare for parties, nights out etc. The picture quality is great for such a small camera and it is so easy to carry round. I'm not sure where you can buy them from now, probably eBay or I did see one on Amazon for £65 recently. Accessories that come with the camera are: AA rechargeable batteries, Charger, USB Cable, 8mb Memory stick, Neck Strap and CD ROM with Sony's image transfer software.... Read review

Jessops is probably the only nationwide camera specialist left in the high street. This was the first place that I looked in when I wanted to by myself a new camera. The first thing that you notice is the huge range of camera, video cameras and digital cameras that they stock. They also stock all the accessories that you would ever need from films, to carrying cases, to stands and for the specialist filters and lenses. I went in looking for a camera around £80 and the range did not disappoint me. Most of the new cameras this price were of the new APS (Advanced Photo System) type, which I didn’t want as I see that as a gimmick to sell more cameras. ...internally, which can store around 12 photo's at the best setting, and around 50 at the good setting. I have tried both settings and in my opinion they are very close in quality. I have bought a carrying case and accessory bag which came with another 8meg card which slides with ease into the side of the camera. With both the internal and external cards I am able to take around 100 photo's. The camera comes with batteries but I have bought a plug in charger and rechargable batteries. This is a must have. I also have another set (recommended) as a back up. Battery life seems to be a little on the poor side in my eyes, but I have found if you don't use the viewer to preview your photos, the batteries will last longer. I suggest that you buy an extra set, I have used up the battery life at weddings and have been glad that I had a back-up set... Read review
