Not as sweet as chocolate..
Review of Nicky Clarke Colour Therapy Sweet Like Chocolate See Me Shampoo by  tashat

Advantages: Smells Incredible
Disadvantages: Can dry hair out.

.... It was a beautiful thick brown shampoo that could actually be mistaken for melted chocolate. Well done Mr. Clarke! The smell of it is definitely the best element of the product resembling terrys chocolate orange. It's actually beautiful. I found that using it made the shower more of an experience rather than a routine which is always a bonus as far as I'm concerned!! The actual use of it is mixed. One thing to watch out for is that when you rinse it out it you can see orange/brown water which perhaps suggests that there are dyes in there to make hair browner.... sort of like a henna? I'm not actually sure if this is the case so I will research it and report back if anyone is interested. Also, it can leave hair a little stringy and very dry so my advice is to always use a conditioner. I tried the one that accompanies it (RRP £4.99) and found... Read review

Sweet Milky Chocolate Biscuits
Review of McVities Milk Chocolate Digestives by  faders321

Advantages: Sweet and chocolatey
Disadvantages: Really unhealthy - like everything else seems to be!

...I love biscuits especially chocolate ones but they are so very unhealthy. Despite trying to cut back on the amount of them I eat I still cannot resist a chocolate digestive when I see one that's why I bought McVities Milk Chocolate Homewheat Digestives. Now I'm sure that most people all know what a chocolate digestive is but for those of you who don't I shall explain. A digestive biscuit is rather different to other biscuits as it is made of wheat and has a sweet wheat taste that you just don't get in any of the others. It also has a nice texture, not like the smooth mush you get when you are halfway through eating a Rich Tea, these have a slightly rougher texture and are easier to break down, which is why they are called Digestive Biscuits as you can digest them more easily than others. Now that you know what a digestive biscuit... Read review

Sweet Sweet Chocolate
Review of McVities Milk Chocolate Digestives by  cfcamm

Advantages: They taste apsolutely great
Disadvantages: Their chocked full of fat

...'s a good creamy chocolate which melts in the mouth (or a hot drink if you like to dunk) to wondrous effect. They have the distinctive digestive taste, which if you're not a regular eater, tastes like a wheat mulch (but in a good way). When these two flavours combine they create a delicious mix of sweet and savoury, which won't leave you with a head ache. They have no really smell except that of a nice chocolate. They have a great crunchy texture which allows for a good crunch, however they're not crunchy enough to hurt you mouth. Some people think the biscuit is two dry, and occasionally it can be (I find it best to have these with a drink tea coffee, coke etc.). Taste - 5/5 Texture - 5/5 --- Appearance and Quality --- Each biscuit has been made to look almost identically (as you would expect when their factory produced... Read review

Mmmm chocolate hair!
Review of Nicky Clarke Colour Therapy Sweet Like Chocolate See Me Shampoo by  lolly1981

Advantages: Smells gorgeous and not too pricey
Disadvantages: Can make a bit of a mess of your shower

...I am never happy buying the same shampoo over and over again as I always feel that perhaps there is another product out there that could make my hair better and if I don't try new ones then I'll never find it. Anyway, I was in the supermarket looking for my next shampoo and conditioner and was about to settle on the last one I used, until I saw this one, Nicky Clarke Colour Therapy 'Sweet Like Chocolate'. There it was, cheaper than the one I was originally going to buy and looking quite alluring in it's see through packaging. Also, the word 'chocolate' in its name got me hooked. When I next got in the shower, I poured out the silky light brown coloured shampoo into my hands and could immediately smell the delicious scent of orange and chocolate. It lathered up well and rinsed out very easily. Next came the conditioner, which... Read review

Sweet like choc..I couldn't resist, damn Nicky
Review of Nicky Clarke Colour Therapy Sweet Like Chocolate Touch Me Texturiser by  eyebrowfetish

Advantages: Lots of the product; natural highlights
Disadvantages: the smell

...this I did get a couple of friends asking whether I had dyed/highlighted my hair. However, it does take a lot of time and practice. I thought that the product was too greasy and you really had to scrub your hands after using it. It stains clothing too. My John Frieda styling gel disappears after you use it, so you don't have to wash your hands, which I'm gonna stick to! The smell is nasty! It's basically the same as the rest of the products in this range; a alleged mixture of chocolate and orange. However, I don't think so! Try musky, chemically and sweet, but not in a cool chocolate sense! It's just horrible! Overall, I would recommend this to those of you who can stand the smell. I thought that it was meant to be a type of hair wax, but it's much too runny for that, and is a lot like a thicker version of the balm. It's perfect... Read review

I think I'll stick to normal chocolate..
Review of Nicky Clarke Colour Therapy Sweet Like Chocolate See Me Shampoo by  VogueRevolution

Advantages: Nice smell
Disadvantages: Pricey for what it is; Doesn't fulfill promises

...It's only quite recently that I decided to go brown. My natural hair colour is quite mousey, and for the past four years I've been a (fake) blonde. However, I started to get bored with the look, and took the plunge to go a nice chocolate brown. I love my new colour, but I've found that it does fade quite quickly. I don't always have the time to get it re-dyed every 6 weeks, so I've been on the look-out for a miracle shampoo which will preserve my colour. Nicky Clarke Colour Therapy Sweet Like Chocolate See Me Colour and Shine Shampoo (wow what a mouthful!) was the first shampoo that I came across which seemed to fit my needs. I'd seen plenty for blonde hair, but there are very few on the market for brunettes. It's packaged in the expected designer-chic way - a cylinder clear bottle with two cream labels and brown writing... Read review

The one chocolate mousse you shouldn't buy
Review of Nicky Clarke Colour Therapy Sweet Like Chocolate Move Me Mousse by  eyebrowfetish

Advantages: Lasts a long time...
Disadvantages: ...because you'll never use it again

...quickly back into liquid form before you have the chance to put it into your hair! Furthermore, I found that I didn't have "luxurious" hair, that was easy to manage with loads of body, like the bottle stated! It did nothing for me in terms of volume-I don't think it had any effect on me whatsoever; it was just a sticky waste of time. I definitely wouldn't recommend this product; it looks nice enough on my dresser because of the cool, see-through bottle, but the product is nasty. You won't achieve body and beautiful hair with this, instead you will need a towel to wipe it off as it melts in your hands as soon as you've pumped some out! The smell isn't chocolately either, but contains the same ingredients as the ones I stated in my previous review of the Controlling Balm of this range: chocolate and orange? All I can smell are sweet chemicals... Read review

Thorntons Continental Boxed Chocolates- Love.
Review of Thorntons Continental Boxed Chocolates by  SweetTooth93

Advantages: Absolutly georgous, wide variety, delicious creamy milk chocolate
Disadvantages: Pricey, addictive, fat and calories.

...You may have noticed my last couple of reviews have been on boxed or tinned chocolates, such as Mars Celebrations and Cadburys heroes. This review may be slightly different as many of you who are reading this will not have tried these chocolates before. Neither had I untill new year, when relatives from another part of the country came over for dinner and brought a present for each of my family. Obviously knowing how much of a sweet tooth I had, I was presented with a huge box of THORNTONS CONTINENTAL BOXED CHOCOLATES. I was thrilled, and over the next few weeks I devoured every single chocolate in the box! THORNTONS Before I begin my review, I will give you a bit of information about the shop who make and sell these; Thorntons. I'm sure everybody has either visited a thorntons before, or at least of heard... Read review

SweetTooth by name, SweetTooth by nature.
Review of My 10 Favourite Sweets by  SweetTooth93

Advantages: All my favourites
Disadvantages: Sugar, sugar, sugar, and more sugar.

...Okay, there was going to be have to be a time when I tackled the subject of my top 10 sweets. Though I try not to eat too many, I am perhaps the sweetest tooth in the UK (hence the Ciao username), and I felt it was my duty to write a review on My Top 10 Sweets. It was never going to be easy, I changed my preferences every single week without fail, and probably in the next few weeks this review will have totoally changed, and I will be hooked on something else. But I decided, for the benefits of all you Ciao'ers out there i'd give it a go. Please note, these aren't in order, as that would just be Way way way to difficult to do!! Bon Bons Bon Bons, what a place to start. I've always been more of a jelly and chewy sweety fan rather than chocolate, and Bons bons have always been a strong favourite. Whenever I got a bag... Sickly sweet challenge
Review of My 10 Favourite Sweets by  Elainebaba

Advantages: Love them or hate them
Disadvantages: Not suited if you are classed as weight watchers!

...Sickly sweet challenge This is one of the challenges both Amanda and I had, I must admit I found it difficult at first, you got it all in your head and suddenly to write this on sheet is no joke. Amanda (Princesssoapy as she is called) bless her heart queen of soap opera, not only indulges in her favourite soap operas but secretly she has a sweet tooth! However, let me indulge you for our favourite five sweets with part two adding a further five sweets. ~~~Topic~~~ Nice chocolate full of peanuts and the taste of nougat filling, the minute you take a bite, you can but only chew it slowly to benefit from its flavour. Mmmmm. Verdict Very Fattening! ***AMANDA SAYS*** Oh yes I love these too! I really think that there far too many chocolate bars on the market today, I don’t think I have had one of these for ages, must rectify... Read review
