Advantages: A great smelling perfume
Disadvantages: is it really unisex?

...Calvin Klein launched perhaps one of his better know perfumes CK One onto the unsuspecting public back in 1994. CK One followed in the wake of Obsession and Eternity but CK One was different with an added twist. Calvin Klein hoped to capture 100% of the perfume market.By manufacturing a perfume that was unisex this product could be seen as being either innovative or a marketing hype to gain further sales! Calvin Klein the brand started life as a high market casual wear fashion house, in the States, acclaimed for his jeans wear and underwear mainly. As with most fashion houses of the time it was soon to move onto the perfume/toiletries market. Luckily the emphasis was still on casual, so the perfumes manufactured by the company were not of a cloying over powering nature ( - well perhaps we could add Obsession to that genre... Read review

Advantages: Designer perfume at an affordable price
Disadvantages: Smell to faint, wore off in no time at all

...After the success of CK1, I bought CK Be expecting the same sort of distinguished smell as Ck1, no chance of that! I was realy disappointed with the smell, it was really faint on me and didn't last very long at all, I couldn't smell it and neither could anyone else for that matter. I know that perfumes smell different on different people but it was ridiculous. On the sample card in the shop it smelt ok, not the beautiful smell of CK 1, but not bad. But when I wore it out, I could hardly smell it and it was almost un recognisable, unlike CK1. I thought that it was over hyped and after the success of CK1 I think that it was flogging a dead horse to launch CK Be, It was a waste of time and money buying it, and I have gone back to good old CK 1.... Advantages: smells great, lovely bottle
Disadvantages: smells just like the other CK1 summers!

...This is a new CK1 summer fragrance from Calvin Klein and it smells delicious just like the rest of them. It is crisp and juicy and fresh, although it smells almost exactly the same as other CK1 summer fragrances. This is also a great price, you can get 100ml for £16 at directcosmetics.co.uk. Packaging: This comes in a green box which fades to yellow at the bottom, with brand and product name and anyother information printed on the box. The bottle is the same as the box, it is packaged in the same shape bottle as CK1, but is green and yellow like the box. Advantages: Subtle but nice smell

...I haven't used CK Be for a couple of years now. I remember when it was first released about 4/5 years ago. I used to like CK one, and was eager to try CK be. I bought my first bottle of it in the US, and immediately preferred it to CK one. I find, personally, that although both are labelled unisex, CK one seems to be more of a feminine smell and CK be a masculine smell. I cannot easily describe its scent. It is kind of sweet but musky. It is never too strong like some aftershaves/perfumes can be. It has a long lasting smell - I can usually still smell it in the evening after a full day at work. I find that it is a subtle smell that doesn't shout out "I'm wearing an aftershave" I stopped using it, a couple of years ago, so that I could try out new fragrances. Advantages: Pleasant fragrance for boys AND girls
Disadvantages: Probably suits men better

...I SMELL........wait, don't leave. When I say I smell, I don't mean as in Pepe L'Peu, well not usually. So, how DO I smell? - By inhaling through my nostrils and engaging my olfactory sensors, just like everybody else. (the old ones are the best) I'll start again. I smell.....nice. I've just had a shower, shampoo, shave and a sh....let's not go there. I'm all spruced up and washed up (or is that washed out), groomed within an inch of my life, and smelling like.....well, like I've been liberally doused with Calvin Klein. Which isn't altogether surprising, as I have been splashing it about a bit. CK BE is a fragrance for men and women and as I definitely qualify in one of those categories, I think I'm entitled to wear some. So why am I all beautified and fragrant? - because, Mrs P is treating me to bit of nosh this evening... Read review

Advantages: Unisex - therefore more of a masculine smell, (which I prefer)
Disadvantages: Too much of a masculine smell, (which others don't prefer)

...I am a fanatic about fragrances and I have been collecting mintures of many brands since I was 7 years of age and I first went abroad. Ck B is a fairly recent product of the Calvin Clein range and although i feel it is more of a masculine fragrance i still wear it gladly on some occassions. Ck one will always be my top of the chart fav. from the Ck range but I think that CK B is still just as refreshing and is original when compared to other smells that stand tall on my shelf. Many people recognise the smell of Ck B which is very satisfying because it seems like a compliament to me when a fragrance that I wear is so well known! I find that because it is a unisex parfume more men are 'smelt' wearing it, but strangely enough I tend to prefer the smell of masculine aftershave and eau du toilet!! ...I received a 50ml bottle of CK Be on my birthday from my girlfriend. I opened the little black box to reveal the smooth textured bottle from which I poured a few drops onto my hand. My nose was greeted by an aroma of fruity flowers with a pleasant woody smell, which would appeal to both a man or woman. The smell is not so strong it will leave you gasping for fresh air, nor will it leave you smelling nothing but fresh air - The strength is just above average and will pleasure your nostrils for a good 5 hours or so. I am very conscientious when it comes to expensive aftershave. I hate to see any expensive fragrance being wasted, and I knew one day I would foolishly tilt the bottle to an extreme obtuse angle and waste half of it, so I chose to fit the spray adaptor which was contained within the box. ...I received CK One as a Christmas present from my sister after falling in love with her bottle (ahem...) THE BOTTLE: Mine came in a limited edition Silver 100ml bottle and I'm all for limited edition products so that suited me fine. My sister's bottle was the 50ml one pictured, and I think it is very pretty, delicate and feminine. THE SCENT: How can I describe the fragrance? Sweet, original and far from over-powering... just like me! I adore the smell, and many people have complimented my waft when I wear CK One, which suggests it is good. THE PRICE: I know I shouldn't because it was a present, but I have seen the price of my perfume, and although it is quite expensive initially for me and others on a sparing budget too, the bottle contained a sufficient number of sprays. ...Ever since 1994 when CK One was first launched I have always been a great lover of Calvin Klein fragrance. Never too overpowering always very sensual and seductively flattering. This year for my Christmas my hubby gave me CK IN2U, I'd been wanting this one for a while and was over the moon when I opened it. The Packaging Presented in an eye-catching gold box with bold yellow writing, this one immediately catches my eye on the shelf. The bottle is a typical bottle shape with a white, plastic cover over the top three quarters, a gold spray top and a simple white lid. The perfume itself is golden in colour. Advantages: Fresh smelling, non-offensive

...I was lucky enough to be sent a bottle of cK One Summer for next to nothing via some website links. Not being much of a Calvin Klien fan (see my other reviews for proof) I was very scepitcal at first when I looked at the bottle. I love the way it looked like a flask, with the screw on cap. I did wonder about whether there was a spray version and was very quickly satisified with what else was inside the box. You get a spray nozzle attachment too for free, so you can choose to either leave it as a screw on splash on, or a spray on. Guess this is for the guy (splash) girl (spray) divide. Still I prefer the spray personally, means more goes on me than my hands! So I proceeded to spray some on my forearm. I have to say, I really am not a fan of the psuedo-fresh fragrances.
