Reviews of cobra radio
Shame they have dropped the standard of these
Review of Panasonic - Cobra Tops by
Morgenhund
Advantages: Excellent, well built machine
Disadvantages: Heavy, gets through 10 batteries at a time
...I bought the original Cobra Top system, with the hidden twin cassette deck, 3 band radio PLL tuner and front loading CD player in February 1996, and it is still doing an excellent job. Sadly the Cobra Range has been cut down in price, as 300 pounds for a portable player probably was too much. The surround sound effect actually works well, the Bass boost is good, and the dubbing facilities are second to none. Added to the fact that the Remote Control does everything you want as well and you have a classy stereo. There is even a backup battery so you don't need to retune your radio, or set the clock. I have had four years good use out of my cobratop and it is still going strong. If you see one for sale, from the original 95/96 range snap it up. This is a quality system....

The Cobra Golf Ball, Where is it?
Review of King Cobra 440SZ Golf Balls by
Leggylad
Advantages: I maybe saving you some time
Disadvantages: They don't exist
...Ok, This review is simply to put you straight. This website claims that Cobra Golf make a golf ball. I can tell you that Cobra do no such thing.
Cobra are an excellent golf manufacturer, they make clubs, bags, gloves, towels etc. however the investment in technology and research required for them to create there own golf ball has put them off the idea.
Cobra has a reputation for making high quality accessories and high power clubs.
Cobra's pride and joy is it's range of drivers. The best and most expensive of which is the King Cobra 440sz. I haven't used this on the course but have had the fortune of trying this weapon on the range. I can tell you, it's a pleasure. Trying a new club is always exciting but this was quite an experience. It was like the first time I picked up my Titleist 983. Fun!
Named after their huge Sweet Zone...

I Refuse To be Breif and Informative
Review of Baby - Detroit Cobras (The) by
Champ666
Advantages: It is Great
Disadvantages: ????
...About a year an a half ago as I was heading down the M6 towards Lancashire on my back to the oh so wonderful city that is Manchester (South Central Manchester to be exact), John Peel comes on the radio and I immediately ease off on the gas, one wants to hear as much of the musical mentor of my adolescences show as possible. During the show Uncle John plays a song by the Detroit Cobras off their previous mini-LP “Seven Easy Pieces”, I am suitably impressed and make a mental note of it. My plan is to track down this new elusive piece of music and buy it as soon as possible. The next day I am at the HMV store in Manchester Piccadilly, and there it is taunting me from the new releases section, dam it isn’t supposed to be this easy………
Now a year an a half later and “Seven Easy Pieces” is still regularly on my play list it almost perfect...

Cobra beer try it and tell me you don't like it.
Review of Cobra Indian Beer by
Niesmiertelny
Advantages: A perfect compliment to any stongly flavoured food food
Disadvantages: Just watch if your driving its premium lager but if you aren't driving ENJOY!
...Superb!
I was never big on drinking, but discovered a new phenomenon whilst dining out.
On my travels I passed through many restaurants and discovered a 'bottled' beer called cobra.
Whilst chatting to the restaurateur and said something along the lines of an understated "This is Rather nice!"
"It is," he replied. Then proceeded to tell me some of the history of Cobra beer.
More can be found at a beautifully simple to use site:
www.cobrabeer.com
Then he said "You know if it were to be started in this area in draught I'm sure it would be taken up by nearly all the Indians."
Within a few months a local company had started to supply the draught cobra.
Unbelieveable!
Have you tried it?
When you do you will be spoilt for life!
How can I describe it?
Ok, I'll try.
The bottled cobra is great, lovely and smooth.
(I prefer it in a glass...

Extra Smooth Cobra
Review of Cobra Indian Beer by
CarlMcQ
Advantages: Delicious
Disadvantages: Not the most widely available however
...Born in Bangalore, India, the award-winning Cobra beer is a beer that, for some reason, goes fairly unnoticed outside of the standard-par Indian restaurant.
It's taste is clean and very smooth, which is what I enjoy, not any of this American weak malarkey! Cobra's certainly ideal when your wolfing down a rather hot curry and suddenly need a refresher.
According to the bottle, it is 'double filtered' for it's extra smooth taste, and extra smooth is correct, and it contains a 'unique blend of barley, yeast and malt with hops, maize and rice', although I'm sure this combination has been 'done' before!!
At 5.0% ABV it's a worthy premium lager, but yet it is the ideal company with a curry as it is not particularly gassy, and therefore doesn't burn your mouth further when mixed with some hot vindaloo! And in turn both the beer compliments...

The Pride of Bangalore
Review of Cobra Indian Beer by
ashford
Advantages: Smooth. Quite Strong
Disadvantages: Not so widely available.Costly in Indian Restaurants
...It looks as though Burton-upon-Trent, Prague and Milwaukee may have been joined by Bangalore in India as places famous for making fine beers. Cobra beer is brewed and bottled by Mysore Breweries Limited of Bangalore and this lager I believe is also brewed in the UK as well.
The brewers claim that Cobra Indian lager is the biggest selling imported Indian lager in the UK.It is certainly fairly widely available in many Indian restaurants and is stocked in neighbourhood Asian-owned and operated convenience stores. It is also available in Waitrose and Tesco supermarkets in 330 ml and 650 ml sized bottles.
Just like Kingfisher,Cobra lager is just about the perfect accompaniment to a good fiery Indian meal. If your idea of gastronomic heaven is tucking into a pyrotechnic mutton vindaloo, prawn phall,or chilli chicken, you will certainly...

A waste of money
Review of Wilson Cobra by
Sliderman
Advantages: You can blame the racket when you play bad
Disadvantages: A lot of money for a lot of crap
...I brought a Wilson Cobra after recommendations from a few of the leading sport shops. So I brought this so called excellent racket, but when I used it I discovered that it lacked in power, the control wasn’t the best I’ve had from a racket and the grip wares a way vary fast. Then to top the lot a string snapped and when I took it back the shop they refused to compensate me and I was forced to bye a new tennis racket else were so I do not recommend that anyone buys this tennis racket or they will sadly regret it....

Recieving You loud and Clear Bum Nugget
Review of Cobra microTALK MT525-2 8-channel PMR by
Champ666
Advantages: Hours of Fun for Me, Great Features
Disadvantages: With A Walkie Talkie this good none.
...you where to get them and how much they cost, but a quick search on sites like google will tell you all that information so there………
Ok for your money you get two "Cobra microTALK MT525-2 8-channel PMR" with a range of 3Km. Using them is pretty self explanatory you slip in 4 AAA heavy duty batteries into each radio and press the power button and you are ready to start transmitting. The volume control has 8 settings from fairly quiet to quite loud, and the channel you are on is selected by pressing the channel up / down buttons.
You have 8 main channels and the first 2 are apparently used by the emergency service in France. Beyond on each channel you have 36 sub channels that you can use to ensure privacy, you access these by pressing the Mode/lock button then the channel up/down buttons, an absolutely great feature if you ask me...
