...This is a superb colour laser printer for the money. I use this for business on a daily basis. Although mainly used for B&W printing its very fast. When used in Colour the image quality is fantastic. This printer comes with various means of communication ie parallel, USB and a built in network adapter. I have it linked directly to the router and therefore it can be used as a network printer easily. The menus are very versitile and offer you a great array of features to help control your business costs. Ie turning off the colour function to certain users. My only disappointment is that it doesnt come with a larger tray. An additional tray can be purchased as an optional extra at additional cost. ...We've had this printer at work for almost a year now and never had a problem with it. Unike most colour laser printers this one is quite tall so doesn't take up as much space which is useful in our office. Setting up the printer was easy, the drivers & manual are on the CD & it wasn't long until everyone was printing to it. The network card is very useful as it allows all the people on our network to print directly to it. It comes with 96 MB of RAM & its coped with everything we've thrown at it (& we print a lot of large image files). The 500-sheet cassette tray is extremely useful as you can just put in a packet of paper and not worry about have to fill the printer back up with paper constantly. The print quality is good, with good colour sensitivity. Print speed is ok to good, once the printer has warmed up. Changing toner & fixing... Read review

...Having purchased a number of the C1100's predecessor, the AcuLaser C900, purchasing one of these was seen as a natural step, and is a step that has not proved dissapointing. The printer comes well packaged, and protected, it what is possibly a slightly oversized box! Following the instructions through the initial setup is easy, and your also guided by the LCD display. Once you have installed the various consumables, and hooked it up to you PC via either a Parallel or USB connection, installing the drivers (on Win XP) was also straight forward. When printing it can take a short while to get going, but isn't anything other than you'd expect of a laser printer, and is also reasonably quiet. ...is a sleek one, and is a stylish dark grey and light grey. For a laser printer, it is very compact, and sits neatly on my desk, taking up about 23cm x 21cm desk space. The paper feeder comes out of the front, at the bottom, and you can fit around 150 sheets in that. There is also a separate envelope feeder, which is so handy. It makes printing envelopes a breeze. Printouts come out at the top of the machine. It is a lovely looking printer, and adds a touch of class to my bedroom office. WHY LASER Inkjets are fantastic for colour printouts, and when you need eye-catching documents printed. The impact of a photo or illustration printed out with ink is unbeatable, and that is where the main use of those particular printers is visible. However, it is not cost-efficient, or speedy. ...to register with HP and make a support case and wait who knows how long for a response – is this progress? * General Comments * Overall, this is a great printer that produces amazing results in the highest resolution settings. It cost me £600 two years ago, though you can get one for around half that now, and the fact that it is network ready (comes with a print server) is a definite plus. If you need a colour laser printer and want one that anyone can install and operate with no hassles or reading through complicated manuals, this is a great deal. It is very reliable. The only complaint I have with this printer is the noise. When starting up, self-cleaning, and printing, is quite noisy, though most laser printers usually are. It is also quite bulky, though I am comparing this to newer models. It does need a lot of ventilation... Read review

...a month! ---------------------------------------- NETWORKING CAPABILITIES ---------------------------------------- Its also ideal for networking; we've got about ten computers in the office and we've managed to develop a suitable network which means each computer can use the printer but also access settings to change resolutions and print size etc. The network was also very easy to connect up; a few leads and we were off. This was pleasing considering the great deal of hassle we'd experienced before in networking other printers. --------------------------------- DESIGN/ APPEARENCE --------------------------------- The design of the printer is okay, is with all laser printers its just another beige box but hp have tried to liven its appearance up a little by the curvious lines and the black access panel with coloured buttons... ...I bought this Laser Printer to use for my small home based Business having previously had a Small Epson Colour inkjet which like most epson injet printers had suffered the blocked print head of death i also had a small samsung black and white laser printer which needed a new toner cartridge which would have cost more than i paid for the printer in the first place so i decided to go for the all in one option of a colour laser in recent years the costs of colour laser printers has dropped greatly and this model cost me £195+Vat which all things considered isn't bad atall especialy for a high profile brand such as Epson set up took a while as it wasn't as simple as open the top and put the cartrdges in like you would with an inkjet instead having to press buttons and wait for the internals of the machine to get ready... ...it off completely or at very least, weakening it until the next treatment. Who Can Benefit? Laser hair removal is for men and women, although by law one must be over 18 to receive it. It works most efficiently on darker hair in lighter skin but will work to varying degrees on almost any colouring. A suntan is inadvisable for up to six weeks prior to treatment and caution must be taken with African,Caribbean,and Asian skin, as the laser can effect the melanin pigment in these darker complexions. Very blonde or grey hair cannot be treated effectively (but the nurse reassured me that the powers that be are working on it!). Almost any area of the body can be treated apart from the most sensitive areas like inside-ear and nostril,to name a few, and areas of the eyebrow other than the very centre above the nose due to the close proximity...
