Advantages: Low price for high quality and capabilities.

...I have built a small but representative collection of these P&S cameras because they can be had for peanuts these days. This little beauty has all the rest beat, and the others like Nikon, Pentax, Canon are good, but not as good as the Samsung. The Schneider lens needs no introduction, I have been using this glass in various cameras for the past half century, and it is IMHO at least the equal of other much more expensive lenses. This camera is just about perfect in every possible way, it powers up rapidly so you don't miss these elusive and rare opportunities to capture memorable images which will always be in focus and perfectly exposed. The design of the camera is also well thought out so it looks and feels good in the hand. Advantages: 200 mm zoom, good design and looks
Disadvantages: Pictures can on occasions lack sharpness, can be difficult to use

...modes will give better picture quality. This is primarily because of the poor instruction manual which does'nt make it particulary clear on how to use the other modes successfully. I don't believe the lens quality of this camera is quite as good as my previous Cannon, and I have tried all the modes. Generally though I would recommend this camera as it packs an almighty punch with its zoom and good looks...the flash even pops out of the side when you turn it on!! If you are after a serious photographers tool buy an SLR as they produce significantly better picture clarity and you can pick them up for not more than the RRP of this camera...though for the sheer compactness and zoom of this camera its a close run thing. Advantages: easy to use, compact, three different size shots, date on back of photos
Disadvantages: film and developing slightly more expensive than normal film

...I have used many different cameras in the past, usually single lens reflex because I love to take pictures, and good ones too! I evenually decided that I wanted a compact camera that was easy to carry around, had a zoom, a built in flash and wasn't too expensive that I could use outside and at parties easily. This camera fit the bill. I get great results form this camera. I can add text and date to the BACK of the picture (therefore not ruining the front of the picture) or leave it blank. Film is easy to load - no fiddling with getting those notches to match up. Developing can be slightly more expensive than normal film but if you use the variety of frame sizes it can be worth the money. Panoramic is great for landscapes and party scenes alike. Advantages: Small size, weatherproof, quality lens.

...I bought this little camera about a year ago, to replace an earlier Olympus compact which was stolen. The first thing that people comment on when they see this camera is its size - it's dinky! (Dimensions are: W 108 x H 59 x D 37 mm). Small is beautiful though and one of the great features of this camera is the ability to pop it into your pocket and take it anywhere. My Mju 2 (pronounced myoo too apparently!) has been up snow covered mountains, on sandy beaches and even down caves! The camera is 'weatherproof', which means that it can handle the odd splash of rain or snow - however if you dropped it into water it would probably kill it - its not waterproof!
