Matiz M100 Pro's and Cons
Review of Daewoo by
jherring
Advantages: Fuel Economy, Comfort, Free Servicing
Disadvantages: Transmission and Brake Problems
...Having purchased my 2000 Matiz new for AUD $11,000.00 and having traded in a large station wagon, i was impressed with the Interior Size of the Matiz.
The vehicle comes equipped with a CD Player, Air Conditioning and Power Front Windows.
Since purchasing the car, i have fitted Alloy Wheels and Roof Racks.
It is more spacious than a number of other micro cars, with a large amount of rear legroom even when the front seats are fully back.
The fuel consumption was particularly pleasing, driving long distances in Western Australia with our summer temperatures consistantly over 37deg Celsius and having to use the air conditioning full time, my matiz is returning 16km per litre or approx 44 miles per gallon in the city and 18.5km per litre or 53 miles per gallon in the country at a constant speed of 110km per hour.
The only downside...

Review of Aiwa NSX-SZ50 by
rickstar
Advantages: it annoys the hell out of my neighbours
Disadvantages: you have to the speaker in the right position or it sounds rubbish
...frequency sounds.
The extra features on this system make it even a better buy.
Sleep: it allows you to program it to go off after certain amount of time.
Timer: you can program it to come on at a certain time, stay on for how long you set it to and then go off.
Timer Record: it allows you to record something at a certain time of the day.
CD digital out: this is handy for people like me who have a min-disc.
There are also jacks for surround sound speakers.
The remote is good, it has all the buttons you want apart from a record button.
Amp Specifications (Bi-Amp)

Tip your waste here.
Review of Green Cone by
willie96
Advantages: Helps the environment.
Disadvantages: Digging a hole.
...I have read a few reviews in Ciao about environmental issues and recycling. Most of these have mentioned composting but none have mentioned the Green Cone. So the obvious thing was for me to write a review on it.
What is a Green Cone?
Well basically it's a large green plastic cone that you place in your garden to be a compliment to a traditional compost heap. The purpose of it is to dispose of kitchen waste rather than putting it in the bin. Quoting straight from the website.
"The Green Cone reduces food waste to its natural components of water, carbon dioxide and a small residue. The solar-heated garden unit takes all cooked and uncooked food waste, including meat, fish, bones, dairy products, vegetable and fruit."
What do I get?
The most obvious thing you get is the Green Cone itself; this is the bit that has to go...

Goodmans 1104 micro system
Review of Goodmans 1104 by
DoYouReallyNeedThis
Advantages: Excellent sound for the money
Disadvantages: Hissy through the headphones
...it so much. I think it's a 5 star winner and best micro under £150.
Appearance is a matter of taste. It looks far more expensive than it is and the stand is a neat feature. Personally I think the speaker grilles should cover the whole of the speaker cone but the extreme edges 'poke out' - check the picture.
The only thing which disappoints me is that the headphone output is really hissy, however as I never use headphones that's no problem for me. The pre-set graphic equaliser (again I never use this) suffers from the same hiss, but on 'flat' it's fine.
It comes with a remote control, timer and sleep functions.
Features I would like that it doesn't have (1) The ability to display CD text. (2) Input or output connections for a mini disc or MP3 player. You can't connect anything else. However at this price for this sound you can...

JUSTA ONE SKINNY COW CONE, GIVE IT TO ME
Review of The Skinny Cow Cone by
pesky33
Advantages: tastes just like real ice cream but it's low fat
Disadvantages: price
...If you've tried the Skinny Cow ice cream lollies, you'll be well aware of how good low fat ice cream can taste. If you haven't tried them, then I'd suggest you just get your paws on these new Skinny Cow cones instead, because they are even nicer, seem even more wicked, and are still less than 5% fat.
Skinny Cow cones come in two flavours, but for the purposes of this review (and because I haven't found the Raspberry and Vanilla ones yet) I'm going to focus on the Chocolate and Caramel flavour.
These cones are described as "chocolate and caramel flavoured iced desert, mixed with caramel flavour sauce in a crispy biscuit cone with a chocolate flavour coating" - phew! That's quite a mouthful, but thankfully, so is the cone.
Description aside, this is basically a low fat Cornetto. It looks exactly like one, right down to the chocolatey...

Review of Coneflower by
mumsymary

Disadvantages: none
...Cone flower.
One of the things I like to do of a winters eve is to look in gardening catalogues both on and off line, to plan /dream and order my garden plants for the next year. I saw on the pages some plants called Cone flowers. I think I shall order and plant some of these this year.
The cone flowers, Echinacea are a member of the Aster, Asteraceae family. Sometimes the cone flower gets called Rudbeckia There are several different coloured varieties one the Echinacea Purpurea, The most common one the purple flowered one Magnus, this has an orange centre, there is a white flowered one white lustre, Echinacea. Skinny on calories - phat on taste!
Review of The Skinny Cow Cone by
surfchik27
Advantages: delicious, yummy, low on fat/calories
Disadvantages: there are only 4 in one box!
...As a self declared ice cream addict (see my Walls Solero review), I came across an advert in a magazine for the range of ice cream products called "Skinny Cow." The name along raised a laugh and in my never-ending hunt for low calorie food that doesn't taste like cardboard, I entered to my local Sainsbury's to check it out.
Skinny Cow, are Americian and do a range of products, but these are not available everywhere yet (so far have found them in Tesco's and Sainsbury's only).
Some of the items I have found are:
Ice Cream: 500ml tubs of low fat vanilla (yummy) and mint/choc (haven't tried this)
Ice Cream lollies in cookies and cream (very nice)
Now onto the cones…….these are in boxes of 4 for £1.99 and come in 2 flavours, raspberry/vanilla and choc/caramel. I have tried both but my favourite is the raspberry one, so that's what I...

PARTY!!!! - in cone form!
Review of Askeys Party Cones by
sarahbarrow
Advantages: A change from the bog standard cornet.
Disadvantages: May send some kids E crazy!
...In the constant quest for "something different" ice cream wise, I found these little beauties hidden amongst the jellies and instant whips at my local Asda store.
The product I will now review are "Askeys party cones".
~~~~~~ THE PACKAGING ~~~~~~
These come in a large rectangular box, blue and bright green in colour, on the front is the "askeys" brand name at the top over looking the product name.
The title simply states "21 party cones", the 21 and the cones part of the text is a cream colour but the party part is in vivid and eye catching colours.
In the right hand corner there is a cartoon clown eating one of the party cones filled with strawberry ice cream and a small starfish with a wand ,and the statement underneath reading "create a little magic!"
Finally there is a small oval cut-out in the right hand corner to show one...
After Eight chocolate Ice Cream Cones!
Review of After Eight Ice Cream Dessert by
Spottydog11
Advantages: Chocolate, mint and ice cream
Disadvantages: The cone is a bit chewy
...This past week I just found an amazing dessert/snack treat that I just had to share with everyone so if you love chocolate and mint and ice cream then read on.
According to various articles I have read, "Rich in British heritage, After Eight is known as England's finest mint."
After Eight's now produce an ice cream cone with After Eight mint chocolate included. I found a pack of 6 ice cream cones for £2 in Sainsburys which I though was an absolute bargain as generally one ice cream cone from a van or a speciality shop costs £2 or more.
Made by Nestlé, the original After Eight chocolates were mint-flavoured thins designed and advertised as an after-dinner mint, hence the product's name.
Each cone is 100g. Now this is actually quite small but after eating one you did feel like you'd had a nice dessert without pigging out...
