vauxhall corsa 1.4 design petrol 3dr auto
Review of Vauxhall Corsa Design 1.4i 16v by
hhuk
Advantages: fun, good looking, nifty, reliable
Disadvantages: not much room in the back with 3people
...I love my corsa! Apart from looking amazing she drives like a little beauty too! my parents own a honda civic & a range rover sport - they love driving my corsa as well so with about 10x my car value to the RRS you cant really complain. My car is a 53 plate and has just got over 22000 miles i bought it from a vauxhall dealer as a former courtasy car i would recommend this as you get a fantastic deal on a car in excellent condition.
Mine is the 1.4 3dr auto version and is very very fast especially with use of the sports mode button - it really does put the fun back into drivin. The handling is excellent and i am totally satisfied with my car. Im currently 19, being driving 2years and my insurance is under £1000 fully comp i think corsas make an excellent first car as they are fun to drive, smart looking, excellent handling, good value...

Corsa Active 1.0
Review of Vauxhall Corsa Active by
andrewdenty
Advantages: Nimble handling, good value, fresh looks.
Disadvantages: Engine feels underpowered.
...and unusually for superminis is comfortable for long journeys. There is also ample room for tall drivers; however the chunky ‘A’ pillars seem to obstruct more of your view than necessary. The boot space is nothing revolutionary; however there is enough room for a weekly supermarket shop.
Engine & performance:
My Corsa has a 1.0 ecotec engine, which is great for urban driving. and adequate on the motorway. However the tiny power plant struggles on some long motorway climbs, personally I’d recommend spending a little extra and going for the 1.2 twinport. At low speeds the engine feels refined and is quite quiet, however at high revs the engine sounds course. However where the 1.0 engine excels is with frugality, easily returning up to 51 mpg. To add to this there are long service intervals and group 2 insurance. Another point to remember is as it...

Big personality little car. Wanted
Review of Vauxhall Corsa SXi 1.3CDTi 16v by
shell72
Advantages: Economical, size, comfort, handling, consumption, room,
Disadvantages: None at all in the 18 months of use
...Throughout my pregnancy my hubby kept telling me that I would need a new car, that my little Corsa would no longer have the room needed to accommodate my needs. You see we already have 2 teenage girls and with a baby on the way and a pram. I did not want a different car I was happy with my Corsa, (of which I haven't named yet so if you have any suggestions to offer please do I will let you know what I decide upon and why).
Anyway this is why I love my Corsa.
~~~~~~
The Corsa holds the road very and handles extremly well, the steering is very comfortable and sounds and feels very secure.
My Corsa came complete with CD Stereo and Alloy wheels,
I can not believe how economical the Corsa is, on average I get 60 mpg (minimum) even more on straight runs. The Corsa is superb for running around town, for both long...
Vauxhall Corsa 1L
Review of Vauxhall Corsa 1L by
NJFortune
Advantages: great wee run around car, very reliable, cheap to run
Disadvantages: rather irritating noise when indicators are on, car sounds like a diesel engine
...well. I found this very good customer service as some companies cannot wait to get you out the door with their products. I would definately recommend the Corsa.
I had mentioned about the irritating noise the indicators make and the diesel sounding engine but after a while you get used to it, either that or you drown it out with some music :-). The Indicators in the car make a tick tock noise everytime the dash board flashes and this can get quite irritating after a while. Also when you are accelerating the car also sounds like a diesel engine but once you are going at top speed you dont actually notice the noise anymore. The car isnt bad at accelerating for a 1.0 engine.
Finally, the car is has a central locking remote on the keyfob which allows you to dead lock/immobolise the car. A good security feature on the car is that when...
You need a Vauxhall, of Corsa you do.
Review of Vauxhall Corsa Club 1.2i by
pumfster
Advantages: Good reliable car
Disadvantages: None really
...Well when my family purchased a new Vauxhall Corsa Club 1.2l 16v car, I was very happy indeed. We have always had Vauxhall's apart from a few disasterous flirts with other brands :) Further to this, I learned to drive 4 years ago with BSM who use 1.0l Corsa's so I was pretty much used to them. However, even I as a loyal Vauxhall fan as surprised at just how good a car the 1.2l Corsa is.
The look of the car is pretty OK. Nothing out of the ordinary, just what you expect from a Vauxhall. Infact there is very little difference between any makes of car in this day and age, and alot of the cars this size look similar. We bought a silver coloured car and this looked very nice when it was brand new and all shiny.
The car I first drove at home was a 1.4l Corsa, and so I was worried when we changed it for the 1.2l that it would not pull away...
2003 Vauxhall Corsa Life 1.0 3 door
Review of Vauxhall Corsa Life by
alimcc21
Advantages: low tax and insurance, small, comfy, good petrol consumption, electric windows, cd player with controls on wheel
Disadvantages: not a very smooth drive once you've had it for a year or so, no cigarette lighter or sun roof, everyone's got one!
...This is my second car and first new car. I had an old Vauxhall Corsa before that and the improvements are amazing.
The car comes with a standard power steering, cd and radio (controllable from the wheel, electric windows, central locking, charger socket, variable windscreen settings and a large boot. It's cheap to tax and considering I'm under 25, with only 2 years no claims, £19 a month insurance is extremely reasonable. I've had no problems in terms of breakdowns and have never had to take it back to the garage. I also got 6 months tax and a years free fully comp insurance, although I swapped back to Direct Line afterwards as Vauxhall insurance is not cheap.
It was £200 for spearmint silver metallic paint, but it really is worth it and it looks much better than other non-metallic cars on the road.
On the negative side I find...
My lovely shiny car
Review of Vauxhall Corsa Club 1.0i by
Scottola
Advantages: Great drive
Disadvantages: Not a BMW
...I love my new Corsa, it's a gorgeous metallic silver colour and is without a doubt the best value car I've ever bought.
It is a really smooth drive with plenty of headroom for passengers and the driver alike. The speaker system is crystal clear and there is ample space in the boot for storing my golf clubs and assorted fishing wear.
The only thing that I wish it came with as standard is alloy wheels as this would be the icing on the cake. It does a decent amount of miles to the gallon and also has a low road tax. I recommend this car to everybody who wants a cheap but good standard of driving.
The handling is great, much better than my old Ford Fiesta....
CORSA - NOT JUST A CAR FOR THE BOY RACERS!!
Review of Vauxhall Corsa Elegance 1.2i by
zeebra
Advantages: Very Nippy, Easy to Park, Small & Compact, Saves on Fuel Bills
Disadvantages: Boot could do with being a little larger
...I had always had my eye on the Vauxhall Corsa. I purchased a Vauxhall Corsa Elegance 1.0 around two years ago, and it is so far the best car I have ever had.
Although the engine is not very big, its great for zipping to the shops, and very easy to park, definately a car for the ladies.
My petrol bill has gone down loads since having this car, and considering the engine is only a 1 litre, it can travel quite fast, if you live in the countryside the car is ideal, and even on the motorway it can reach speeds of over 70 miles an hour easily.
The interior is very stylish, my corsa is red with black interior which is very smart. It has electric windows, and air conditioning, a must for hot days, and heated mirrors for when the weather is a little chilly.
When some people here Corsa, they think that this car is a boy racer car, but its...
My Instructors car
Review of Vauxhall Corsa GLS 1.7 di by
biogenetics
Advantages: Turbo model as standard, power steering,
Disadvantages: Cheap plastic door panels
...into the plastic it scratches it. After 10,000 miles my instructors new corsa looked like someone had taken a compass to the interior side panel.
Overall some fantastic features on the car including power steering, ABS, central locking and a turbo on all diesel models as standard, but the plastic door thing really devalues the car after a while. For me I would (and did) try to go for the Corsa DtiSxi, it has a bit better a turbo with a bit more slap bang wallop behind it, and eliminates the nasty side panel that I spoke of earlier. Plus it has alloys instead of the nasty hubcaps that look ugly....
Vauxhall Corsa
Review of Everything that starts with C ... by
mikejones_2003
Advantages: Handles well, Nippy.
Disadvantages: Slight steering problem.
...I love my R Reg Vauxhall Corsa because I think when Vauxhall gave the Corsa an overhaul a couple of years back they improved it in nearly every area. It still looks like a Corsa - but it looks modern now, and looks like it will stand the test of time in the looks department. The three-door is sporty looking (especially in SXi and SRi trim) and the five doors make the car look bigger in my opinion! It handles well, you can fling it around country lanes and it lets you know exactly what is going on. Driving on bumpy roads (which we have a lot of in the UK) is like driving with your hands on a bouncy washing machine! Talking of steering, in hot weather, the steering goes really heavy when you have been on full lock for about 10 seconds, but if you leave it, it will go back to normal in about thirty seconds. The dealer was helpful...
