...This nail polish remover costs just over £1 which i suppose isnt bad for a large bottle like this but i dont think it is very good, dont get me wrong it will remove your nail varnish but it realy does struggle. My nails were painted a dark plum colour, it had began to chip a bit at the ends of the nails and looked horrid so i brought this nail polish remover to get the rest of it off. The bottle has a screw on lid which obviously you have to open, then i put a piece of cotton wool on the top of the bottle and tiped it quickly upside down and then right side up again there was a circle of nail polish remover on my cotton wool. I rubbed the coton wool up and down my thumb nail and could see the plum colour coming off onto the cotton wool, it was removing it. After doing this the coton wool was covered i plum nail varnish... ...In fact I thought it was water I even resorted to tasting it. This must be one of the worst simple products I have used. I bought it off a well known online shop, for 89p for 100ml. It comes in a nice green bottle and it says ''100% alcohol free'' no nasty stinging on the face then. I put some on cotton wool and tried to wipe off my makeup, it felt like I was rubbing water on my face, and did not remove hardly any makeup, infact the cotton wool went soggy. I think it would be nice if you put it in the fridge and put it in a spray bottle for thoose hot nights, but not for removing makeup. ...This really is the creme de la creme of baby top'n' tail bowls. It holds the perfect amount of water- enough to comfortably bathe your baby. What I really like is the flat shelf piece inbetween the two bowl sections; not many top 'n' tail bowls have this and it means if you are using cotton wool to clean your baby you can kep it dry until you're ready to use it. Also, once you've used your cotton wool, you can put it on the shelf piece so it's not left floating around in the water- this also means you're not trying to hold your baby and lean over to the bin at the same time. ...Whilst at home we usually use cotton wool and water to wash our little one's backside. Cotton wool works out cheaper and is supposed to be better for preventing nappy rash. I think that cotton wool is best for the cleaning of the baby bottom, its kinder to their skin and is better at removing pooh. However, I obviously can't use cotton wool and water whilst out and about so I have pampers baby wipes in the changing bag for sudden explosive emergencies and changing after swimming. They are also extremely useful for when we run out of cotton wool. They are in a green packet with the prerequisite picture of a baby on the front. There are 72 in a packet and they cost about £2.49. ...There are several different kinds of Cutex nail polish remover, and Ive probably tried them all. The new gel formula was the latest to catch my eye in Boots so I thought Id give it a try. The bottle is the same shape as alwayswide at the bottom, getting thinner towards the top, with a screw on cap. I think a flip lid might be better, and a squeezier bottle to make it easier to get the amount you want on your cotton wool. The white bottle with a light blue lid contains 200ml of a white, gel like formula which claims to be extra caring. I personally have not found this product to be any more harmful or more gentle than any other nail polish remover. I think the idea is that because its a soft gel like substance users will think its less harmful that the runny watery nail polish removers. You use this the same way as all other liquid... ...The Body shop cleanser with cucumber, mmmmmmm mmmmmm. This cleanser smells really great, lovely and fresh, and it is light to go on so it's really effective and kind for problem skin. It doesn't leave your skin feeling heavy or greasy like some other products do. The prices in The Body Shop tend to be slightly more pricey than other brands, so I usually try to get refills, and buy the larger bottles which work out cheaper in the end. Using this cleanser you'll need plenty of cotton wool, and either rinse your face afterwards, or use a light toner.It tells you on the bottle to remove with cotton wool soaked in cucumber water, but I haven't tried that. ...I have searched for ages for a makeup remover which removes waterproof mascara but doesn't make your eyes sting. Now I have found it! Simple is definitely getting better in my opinion, the fact that it is so gentle on your skin and it is 100% oil-free is a big advantage! I bought a bottle of this from Wilkinsons for £1.99 - better than the "low price" in Boots - £3.89! The packaging lives up to it's name, it is a clear bottle with a green lid and the brand name on the front. No frills, that's how I like it. The lid is a good idea - it has a small hole so it doesn't go everywhere when you're trying to put it on some cotton wool! Simple to apply, just put a few drops on cotton wool, and wipe over your eyes. Easy. And it actually does remove waterproof mascara! Not a very long review, but I don't know what else to say! ...I bought a small sachet of this mask to give it a try, and although I applied a thick layer of it, the sachet still lasted 3 uses! I think that if you buy the tube it will last a while. The reason for this is that the consistency is very moisture rich. It smooths on your skin very easily, and doesn't dry. The mask only takes 3 minutes to work, and leaves your face feeling smooth and clean. It does purify your skin, but without you feeling the sting as it does its job! Not the cheapest product on the market, but it's very gentle on your skin (as we're led to believe as well), so it's good for those with fussy skin. It is quick to use, and relatively easy to remove. You are suppose to use dampened cotton wool when taking it off, and this is easier than water, as the mask is so gooey, the water just kind of slides off. So try the cotton... Read review

...Utrabland is a thick, gooey cleanser made of peanut oil, honey, rosewater and beeswax. I think it smells of peanuts and honey, but the smell doesn't linger once you've removed it. It's not easy to use. Take a tiny bit, and spread it over your face, massaging it well in. Massage it right into your eyes and eyelashes if you're wearing eyemakeup. Once it's massaged all over your face, you need to remove it, and this is the tricky bit. You can't take this off with a quick wipe of lukewarm water. You need hot water, and a flannel or a lot of cotton wool. Soak the flannel/cotton wool in hot water and use it to remove the Ultrabland. It will take several goes and a good few minutes to get it all off, because it is very rich and thick. A good squirt of toner afterwards will help too. And voila! All the dirt, grime and makeup is gone... Read review
