...Crash of the titans is a decent installment to the Crash Bandicoot series but unfortunatly does not do much justice for the original games. The game is extremely repetitive with many 'episodes' (the levels) being just a run through the forest collecting little blue balls. While the original was a little repetitive, the wide variety of enemies and varied ways of completing the levels was fun and kept the game fresh whereas Crash Of The Titans doesn't do this. If you are a dedicated Crash Bandicoot fan, then please buy it. It is not a bad game, just not as good as you would hope. If you are not a Crash fan, then wait for your local computer games store to offer a discount or sale on it and get it cheaper as for around £29.99, it is not worth the price.... Read review

Advantages: A very classy Horner soundtrack
Disadvantages: Overplayed by today

The 3½ -hour epic love story between a high society girl Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet) and the poor artist Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) and set on board one of the greatest seafaring disasters of all time, created immense critical and popular acclaim, both for the incredible visuals (they practically rebuilt the Titanic in scale), the historical accuracy and for a story that made many girls swoon and cry at the theatres (and why not even a few guys). For me the story was a little too run of the mill to create much of an impression, but I have to respect the technical side of the film, with the details of the ship, it's passengers, certain scenes, and the final sinking, making it one of the most accurate depictions of the Titanic disaster... ...Personally I have always been a fan of Crash and played most, if not all, of the previous games in this series ( mainly on PS2). When I heard about the release of this game on Xbox 360, I was very excited and purchased it as soon as it went on sale. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a 24hr gamer, I'm the kind of person who plays a game for a couple of days then gets caught up in real life things and abandons it for weeks (sometimes months). Initial Thoughts I didn't really understand the title, I hadn't looked it up as I knew I would enjoy the game anyway from past experience. When I got the game I still didn't really understand it but the premiss is this; Cortex (the normal Crash bad guy) has developed some way of mutating his minions and making them into beasts (Titans) which are very fast and very powerful. Advantages: A groundbreaking adventure game. Great graphics.
Disadvantages: The AI is overrated, I think. Almost impossible to complete.

As a result Starship Titanic was born in 1998 and it was light-years ahead of its time, but still just as infuriating as its long-dead predecessor. The plot then: Titania is the robot which controls the Starship Titanic. The corrupt executives have dismantled her and left the ship to wander aimlessly in space (it crashes into your house at the beginning). (For Hitchhiker fans: Echoes of Arthur Dent there I think.) Your job is to find all the missing parts and put her back together again. The main problem with the adventure is that it is incredibly difficult. At the beginning you are stuck in thrid class, with a foldable bed, cupboard and telly all crammed in to various shelves. If you manage to watch TV (a feat in itself) you will be upgraded to second class and will find more of the ship... Read review

...THE best ever racing game on the PS1 to date! Power slides, empowering wumpa fruit, speed boosts and enough weoponry to sink the titanic by sheer weight! I love this game as it fulfills every avid PS1 gamers expectations and more for a comical racing game. It is quite an old game and does not massacre all the third generation console games, especially not in graphics, but i believe that Crash Team Racing will live on as a classic in the eyes of many as it has brought great hours and enjoyment to those very eyes. You can be a vast assortment of characters as you unlock them and each has their own attributes that help you with certain courses or certain things such as jumping ability and top speed or acceleration. Truly inspirational game, graphics arent the best but the cartoonyness of it cancels out any reality-based detail... Read review

Disadvantages: A Slightly Predictable Read!

...Regrettably book reviews are not really my "thing" - neither the writing, nor indeed, the reading of them. However, with this review - so familiar is the story that it contains - it would be difficult for me to mess it up, by either revealing too many details, or indeed by telling you how the story ends. I am sure that all of you reading this, will have heard of the Titanic and seen at least one film, drama or otherwise, or TV documentary about that (in)famous ship. Truth be known, RICHADA is not much of a book worm, although I do have, to me at least, an interesting collection of books. Seven out of ten in my collection have some connection with merchant shipping, more specifically, Ocean Liners, at a rough estimate, two out of every seven are to do with the Titanic and her two Sister ships - the Olympic and Britannic. ...Nobody told me I’d have to sit still for three hours when I went to see Titanic. The only other films that long that I actually enjoyed were Schindlers List and Lord Of The Rings. What made Titanic so special that it thought it could waste everyone’s time like that? Yes it may be considered a classic now, and yes I may be tempting fate by criticising it but I’m going to do it anyway. The fact that it is the highest grossing film of all time is neither here nor there, it only made so much because smitten teenage girls went to see it fifteen times. The makers of Titanic proved two things 1: Hollywood can’t tell a story like it happened and 2: Talent is secondary to looks. It wouldn’t have been such an insult if the true story was told, but out of a million dollar budget, one of the best stories ever and a competent director all we got... Read review

TITANIC: Oh how great, never in the film histroy before a film was so expensive to produce, just for this film they rebuild the original titanic with all things in it like beds,sport room and 1st class deck. Thats a big reason why so much people went into this film just to be able to say "i was in it". So i went to this film in germany,too of course, the suprise was that i didnt know if Leonardo Di Caprion(in the film he is Jack) will die on the titanic or if he can rescue. STORY: The Story is easy to understand, the biggest ship ever build till 1912 had his first real tour over the atlantic ocean from england to america, New York. Advantages: Great Special FX (World Blowing Up)

...This is the film i put on every night when i go to bed, At the moment, (when Stormbreaker comes on DVD, thats gonna replace it) I dunno why i put it on. It's the year 3028 and te Drej are planning on Destroying the Human race as they are afraid on what we might become. Who knows, for all we know, we might become mutants that can kill anything. That was an example :l Couldn't think of anything better. Got summit better, say it. ANYWAY... Young Cale (a boy roughly aged 4-7 and is FANTASTIC at inventions) is in the forest. His Father turns up and tells him 'It's time to leave' They get to the space ship where they are meant to go on. Until, Cale finds out his Father has to leave him for 'A While' and travel on the Titan. He gives him his ring and leaves him with Teck. Nobody knows what the Titan is or does. Except a few.
