...Crash of the titans is a decent installment to the Crash Bandicoot series but unfortunatly does not do much justice for the original games. The game is extremely repetitive with many 'episodes' (the levels) being just a run through the forest collecting little blue balls. While the original was a little repetitive, the wide variety of enemies and varied ways of completing the levels was fun and kept the game fresh whereas Crash Of The Titans doesn't do this. If you are a dedicated Crash Bandicoot fan, then please buy it. It is not a bad game, just not as good as you would hope. If you are not a Crash fan, then wait for your local computer games store to offer a discount or sale on it and get it cheaper as for around £29.99, it is not worth the price.... Read review

...I have been quite interested in the titanic and only because of this I decided to see this film. I presume you have already seen this film and that you know the plot but if you don’t its about a ship carrying hundreds of passengers. The boat crashes into an iceberg, and the boat begins to sink. There is an unlikely love story as well. The cast was great, especially Kate Winslet, Billy Zane, and Kathy Bates. Leonardo DiCaprio did a pretty good job as Jack and the special effects were stunning. The only enjoyment I had was when the ship began to sink and that terrible to say because this film is based on a true story and as I was watching this film I could help thinking about how it must of been like for those poor passengers on the ship. This film is definitely a classic, but this film doesn’t appeal to me that much.... Read review

...Personally I have always been a fan of Crash and played most, if not all, of the previous games in this series ( mainly on PS2). When I heard about the release of this game on Xbox 360, I was very excited and purchased it as soon as it went on sale. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a 24hr gamer, I'm the kind of person who plays a game for a couple of days then gets caught up in real life things and abandons it for weeks (sometimes months). Initial Thoughts I didn't really understand the title, I hadn't looked it up as I knew I would enjoy the game anyway from past experience. When I got the game I still didn't really understand it but the premiss is this; Cortex (the normal Crash bad guy) has developed some way of mutating his minions and making them into beasts (Titans) which are very fast and very powerful. ...THE best ever racing game on the PS1 to date! Power slides, empowering wumpa fruit, speed boosts and enough weoponry to sink the titanic by sheer weight! I love this game as it fulfills every avid PS1 gamers expectations and more for a comical racing game. It is quite an old game and does not massacre all the third generation console games, especially not in graphics, but i believe that Crash Team Racing will live on as a classic in the eyes of many as it has brought great hours and enjoyment to those very eyes. You can be a vast assortment of characters as you unlock them and each has their own attributes that help you with certain courses or certain things such as jumping ability and top speed or acceleration. Truly inspirational game, graphics arent the best but the cartoonyness of it cancels out any reality-based detail... Read review

...The last computer game Douglas Adams helped to make was a text version of Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy way way back. He had the idea for Starship Titanic back then but waited until computers had developed enough to do such a complicated concept justice. The premise - Starship Titanic crashes into your home and you climb on board. You find out that the ship has been sabotaged, and in order to get home you have to repair it. You are helped and hindered by a small selection of robots and a demented parrot (voiced by Terry Jones who wrote the accompanying novel). There aren't a lot of characters, only the robot employees of the ship, who are malfunctioning along with the ship itself. There are a lot of different rooms and locations to explore - and explore them you will, many many times before you figure out what you need to do... Read review

...Directed by James Cameron and having a budget of over $200 million, Titanic was tipped to be a huge failure, well, I say failure, but it wasn’t expected to rake back the amount of money that was spent on the making of the film. How wrong could they be! This film was a massive success. I’m sure you can all remember around the time it was released in the US and everyone was raving about it over there and then a couple of months later it was released in the UK and we were bombarded with people saying how good it was and reviews of the film. Again, when it came out on video I can remember trying to find it to buy but couldn’t all the shops had sold out! The film obviously got its money back and loads more as a bonus! Now, surely you all know the story of the Titanic. The ship that was supposed to be impossible to sink... Read review

...for an animated film (which often gives more flexibility in doing such things as defying gravity, etc.) the effects were great. The cat and mouse game between the spacecraft in the ice region of space, with so many reflective surfaces and crashing/breaking sound effects was truly breathtaking, worthy of acclaim among any science fiction film. In all, Titan A.E. is a good film for its genre, poorly targeted and somewhat lacking in the execution. However, if one is willing to overlook the plot holes (in the name of suspension of disbelief), this can be enjoyed. And yes, a teenage boy will most likely like it, despite it being a ‘cartoon’.... ..., and Battlefield 2142 has its fair share. Amazingly some of the bugs from the beta make their return in the final game, and when any game has to be patched on release day you have to wonder just what the testers have been doing. Bugs will always be rife in Battlefield games since there are so many things the players can do that they'll always find a bug somewhere the developers never even dreamed of. The game sometimes crashes at the start of maps, and the screen can go all funny when you try to choose an unlock during a game. Corpses still slide around on board Titan's, which can make it awkward to revive them - eventually falling through it towards the ground. Lag can also be pretty horrendous during the Titan mode, but it's more due to the server than anything. The bugs are minor niggles in the end and hopefully you won't experience anything... ...Winning a grand total of 11 Oscars, James Cameron's Titanic was THE cinematic event of 1997. The 3½ -hour epic love story between a high society girl Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet) and the poor artist Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) and set on board one of the greatest seafaring disasters of all time, created immense critical and popular acclaim, both for the incredible visuals (they practically rebuilt the Titanic in scale), the historical accuracy and for a story that made many girls swoon and cry at the theatres (and why not even a few guys). For me the story was a little too run of the mill to create much of an impression, but I have to respect the technical side of the film, with the details of the ship, it's passengers, certain scenes, and the final sinking, making it one of the most accurate depictions of the Titanic disaster...
