Love ly smell which removes odours
Review of Febreze Mist & Refresh by
textmad
Advantages: removes odours, doesn,t mask them
Disadvantages: price
...I have being using febreze on my fabrics, such as curtains, sofa etc to freshen up and get rid of smells, i have always liked the smell and was impressed with the effects so when i saw the new febreze mist and refresh i thought i would give it a try.
Febreze mist and refresh comes in a 300ml aerosol can, and it is is easy to spray as it has a trigger which you just press and it sprays out a fine mist with a lovely smell.
You can get it in four difference fragrances .
Blossom & Breeze,
Cotton Fresh,
Morning Dew
limited edition apple spice
I bought mine from tesco when it was on special for around 1.20, you can buy it from most supermarkets and can cost you anything up to 2.50 for a can.
~ my opinion ~
What i like about this is it gives a gorgeous smell , my favourite being the cotton fresh, but not only that it actually removes...

La Mmmmmm
Review of La Senza (Shop) by
Amanda_Fowler1
Advantages: Excellent service
Disadvantages: A bit expensive
...I must admit I was impressed with La Senza! They offer:
· Bras and Panties
· Sexy Silks and Satins
· Cosy Cottons and Flannels
· Stuff Just for Him
· Must Have Accessories
· And offer gift certificates
Now, ok, the prices are a bit steep, but hey, you get your undies wrapped up, put in a paper bag with smelly ball things, and the receipt even has its own envelope!!! I found that the staff are helpful and friendly, and if you want to get measured up, you don’t even have to take your top off!! The changing rooms are nice and roomy, and have locks on them instead of curtains, and inside there are several mirrors and even a bell to ask for help! It is absolute luxury, so well worth the money!...

Dunelm, for all your homeware needs
Review of Dunelm Mill by
josarah
Advantages: Sells Fabric, Cheap and varied stuff
Disadvantages: Sometimes you get overwhelmed with it all
...for yourself. There is generally a good range of fabrics arranged by colour so if you know what kind of look you're going for you can get to the relevant section without too much of a fuss. Other stuff you can buy for making your own soft furnishings includes zips, cotton, header tape (for curtains), wadding, foam balls (for bean bags) and tassels. This is by no means an exhaustive list and you will find much more haberdashery type wares in the store.
The price of goods is actually quite cheap as well. There is usually a promotion on fabric and you can get some really good bargains. I bought fabric and all the things that go with it for making curtains (bedroom) including blackout lining and the whole lot came to about £50, these were then made up by my mum so I didn't have to pay extra to have them made. The fabric I have for the bedroom curtains...

Definitely recommend it for bedding
Review of Dunelm Mill by
chiefcooknbottlewasher
Advantages: Its a stuff emporium
Disadvantages: Because its stuffed with soo much, it looks cheaper
...Dunelm Mill has the best price babies bedding I've found. My children have slept (1 still does) on 100% brushed cotton fitted cot sheets bought as a pair for less than a fiver, so I've just bought some for my friend in Southampton because Dunelm Mill haven't reached that far south yet (they have a website were you can do a check on where your local store is, the futhest south I could find was Reading or Swindon). My Daughter is physically attached to Dunelm Mill fleece blankets which are about half the price you pay at other well known baby stuff providers, and they wash exactly the same.
There is an overwhelming amount of stuff at Dunelm mill, they sell bedding for every size of bed, including the duvet and pillows (we get our slumberlands from here, and give duvets and pillows as presents too), they can curtain or blind your room...

RAISE YOUR CLOTHES THE EASY WAY
Review of Member Advice on Recycling by
LICARUS
Advantages: Helps to easily and quickly hem/alter items of clothing, or furnishing
Disadvantages: can leave a stickly residue on your iron
...is that you do sometimes get the ‘web’ on the sole plate of the iron, if this does happen, quickly rub the iron on a piece of clean cotton until it is removed. Non removal may result in the sole plate sticking to the fabric and leaving a ‘chewing gum’ like residue on the iron, which can then be transferred to other clothes.
Removal or alteration of a ‘wundawebbed’ item is very simple. Although the hem is not affected by everyday ‘dry’ ironing or heat from a tumble drier. The bond can be broken by placing a damp cloth over the area and an iron applied for about 10 seconds again. To break the bond, simply peel apart the fabrics.
As I have said I have been using Wundaweb to hem curtain’s, some of them very heavy fabric, like the Velvet. All the curtains look very professionally made and have...

Rage against the Machine
Review of 8MM DVD by
aubernguy
Advantages: The bloke who wrote Seven
Disadvantages: The bloke who directed Batman and Robin
...It had an odd effect on me the third time I saw this film. The first time was at the cinema and, as is always the case the first time you see a film, I had certain expectations. It was dark and sinister but ultimately left no lasting impression. The second time was the same. But last night I left the film feeling drained. In fact I went to bed feeling quite emotional and very secure in my sheltered little life. Which made me see the film in a new light; or, perhaps, made me realise that I'd watched it for the first time with a genuine sense of what the story is about. At first it seems to be about revenge, with some seediness thrown in for atmospheric value. Last night I saw the real story, the story of the dark behind the floral curtains of normal, suburbanite lives: and what can happen when you draw those curtains back.
I found...

quality,cheap bed linen in London
Review of Dreamworld(shop) by
dkezzla
Advantages: helpful staff,good quality,good prices
Disadvantages: there`s only 1 branch-its in SW London
...Usually when I buy bedding I order it from a catalogue or someone else does the shopping!Recently I decided to get some new stuff and something possessed me to go shopping myself so I decided to have a look locally and happened across a lttle shop I had never noticed before-DREAMWORLD.
I wandered in and had a look around,I was surprised at the amount of different stuff in the shop-they had almost everything.
Apart from the usual pillows, sheets, duvets and all the associated items they had :-
Bathrobes
Bathmats
Tablecloths
Curtains
Towels(nice thick fluffy ones)
Flannels
Teacloths
Throws
and other bits and pieces!
Having had a look around I chose a goose feather and down duvet that was made by a german company called Die Zudecke which I was assured was top quality, hence it was backed by a genuine, written 10 YEAR guarantee! It was so...

Ikea We have a 90percent Ikeaed Flat
Review of Ikea (Shop) by
samfroggatt
Advantages: Quality Price Viewing the product before buying
Disadvantages: Nearest store is Bristol from South Devon 95miles
...in the stock room you can go and get your carboard box containing all required pieces of flat packed coffee table to put together when at home.
Another bargain you will find in Ikea are curtains and curtain poles. We bought a double curtain pole in silver for about £5.00 or less and the decorative end pieces, in a clear bubble ball @ £2.99 for a pair.
The actually curtains, 100% cotton, machine washable, tumble dryer friendly, in cream for a pair and ties £25, then the decorative curtains - a floaty light white elegent see through pair, again machine washable, @ £12.00 the pair.
Plates and mugs and cups, things to eat or drink from. You will always find unusual wine glasses from as little as a £1 each weather they be huge red wine glugging glasses to small cups, their is always a bargin for this sort of product.
Ikea also has a policy...

The linen on my marriage bed
Review of Dorma Bed Linen by
mumsymary
Advantages: Long lasting good quality
Disadvantages: Price
...classis but modern too. Dorma bed linen comes in a variety of sizes, Single 135 x 200cm XO01, Double 200 x 200cm XO02, King 230 x 220cm XO03 , and Super king 260 x 220cm XO04. Standard sized pillow cases to match are available valances and curtains too.
Dorma bed linen does not come cheap, some patterened designs costing £35 for a double sheet, £85 for a double duvet cover. I seem to remember our bedding quite expensive in the seventies. I note they do an organic range now white or cream covers costing £60 for a double duvet cover
However Dorma bed linen is made of good quality cotton soft fine cotton yet strong. It washes well. Long lasting. Dorma bed linen looks good too. Sleeping in Dorma linen feels good it is good quality soft not harsh.

Review of Bon Marché (Shop) by
JoosyJulie
Advantages: Range of sizes, and cut for curvier figures
Disadvantages: Non that I have found
...Size 22 and still fashionable on a budget. How?
I use Bon Marche where ever I find one, but I usually shop in Hereford, (so much that they know me by name). The shops are always well kept, bright and clean. The changing rooms are of a large size with good heavy duty curtains so you aren't going to be sticking various parts of your anatomy out for the world to see, very important when you are my size.
The clothes have always been of good quality, the basic t'shirts are made from a heavier weight cotton than 'budget' would call for. The t'shirts and tops are always that bit longer than the current trends, which at the moment is for showing off your belly, at my size is not attractive. Whenever I have been in the changing rooms and needed a size up or down the staff have always been willing to run around for me. The clothes...
