D&G D&G D&G D&G D&G D&G all day long!!
Review of Dolce & Gabbana Feminine by  elephants69food_0

Advantages: Lovely smell that lasts all day
Disadvantages: boring bottle

...Now as others my have read, I really love my perfumes and have a total huge collection of them. This one, Dolce & Gabbana is definitely one of my all time favourites. I was up visiting Ady's(my other half) parents in Lincolnshire one December and his mum took us to this place called Ingamels market. I was in heaven, living on the Isle of Wight, our idea of a market in half a dozen stools selling jumpers with dogs and horses on!!! But this was a super size, everything you could think of we sell market. I loved it, by my bank balance didn't! There was this dodgy looking bloke selling boxed perfumes out of what appeared to be a suitcase. These were obviously knocked off goods but they were being sold 2 for £10! This particular perfume was amongst them and having the D&G sign on I thought it must be quite a nice smell. I couldn... Read review

Review of Motorola razr V3i Dolce & Gabbana limited edition mobile phone. by  Mayclair

Advantages: Style and technology all beautifully wrapped up in GOLD.
Disadvantages: I am very pleased to report...NONE....

...and said that if I was interested they had these phones at a really reasonable price on E-bay. I thanked him and put down the phone. The only thing was I had no way of going onto E-bay. Enter my night in shining armour. My dear friend John who said he would lend me his laptop, which he did. I was back on line and went straight to E-bay where I purchased my longed for phone. Which was unlocked and without a sim card. I did go back to Phones4U where Daniel put an Orange pay as you go sim card in the phone for me. Which cost the princely sum of £9.99. The Package. **************** My beautiful Motorola Razr V3i limited edition Dolce & Gabbana gold phone arrived by special delivery the very next day. It comes packed in a lovely gold metallic box (looks like an ingot) which you slide open. At one side is the phone and at the other end... Read review

DAY AND NIGHT NIGHT AND DAY
Review of Night and Day by  princesssoapy

Advantages: Brilliant and quirky.
Disadvantages: Not shown anymore at teatime.

...Firstly let me start by saying how disgusted I am that this amazing and totally different "soap" has been taken off from its tea-time slot, on ITV1, and now is now to be shown only in its omnibus late night slot, usually Thursdays around 11pm. - Rant now over! Why am I so upset?? Its just a TV programme!! People might say, but these would be people that have not been drawn into this brilliant and querky soap. Night and Day is set around the disappearance of school girl Jane Harper and is based in Thornton street, which is where her family live. It has some well known actors in it such as Glynis Barber, Lesley Joseph, Lysette Anthony and Joe McGann. The other actors in it, even though unknowns before this soap started, are really good and very believable. Isn't this just like any other soap?? I hear you ask (and if not why not... Read review

Night and Day - you have to go twice!
Review of Night & Day by  fizzytom

Advantages: Not tied to a chain, good food, good beer, good live venue
Disadvantages: BAr closed when gigs are on, dangerous steps to loos when you've had a few

.... I would much rather go to an interesting unique and quirky venue such as the Night and Day Café in Manchester - a little independent place that serves what it likes and isn’t another faceless chain venue. My first visit was in November when I went down to Manchester to see Jesse Malin play (check him out - he is the best!); he was in England for two low key gigs to start promoting his third solo album, the Manchester show was the closest for me. We telephoned to enquire about tickets and were referred to Ticketline but you can find links to buy tickets via the venue website. Gigs by smaller local bands will cost just a couple of Pounds, we paid £8.50 for someone who is a well established artist with quite a strong following. The Night and Day Café is exactly that; it opens at 10.00 in the morning for breakfast, carries on through... Read review

Feed Day or Night with No Probs!
Review of Lindam Night & Day Feeding System by  Groovee

Advantages: Convenient to have beside the bed
Disadvantages: Noisy when the warmer is heating up.

...Just after I had Murray I started expressing some milk to allow daddy to help with the feeds and let me get some sleep as having 2 children under 3 was very tiring with very little sleep, with having to breast feed all night long. The first few nights when Murray wakened he would scream while hubby was down stairs getting the expressed bottle out of the fridge and heating it up. By that time I had just latched Murray on and breast fed him. After a while I gradually started introducing to formula to try and get him to go longer between feeds and give me a break as I was at breaking point. Hubby was happy for this but he was fed up going downstairs, switching the kettle on and waiting for the bottle to get the chill off it. So he decided enough was enough and off he went and came back with a Lindam Day and Night Feeder. Costing £29... Read review

Listening to Billie all day and night
Review of Day & Night - Billie Piper by  Amy69

Advantages: Really lifts your spirit!
Disadvantages: Only one song with various versions

..."All of the day. All of the night. The things you do. That makes me feel so right". ***** Billie Paul Piper was born in 1982 in Swindon. Since she was tiny, she dreamed of performing and attended various dance classes and drama groups! When she was 13, she won a place in Sylvia Young Drama School and stayed there in London. When she was 15, she was given the opportunity of a lifetime! Innocent Record Company offered her a record deal! Without hesitating, Billie jumped at the chance, and became a new face for music - a young, lively, bubbly teen! Billie's first single, 'Because We Want To', went straight to number one - a massive achievement! Following that, Billie had several other fantastic hits and a great album, 'Honey To the Bee'. Billie promoted this album by going on tour, then taking a short break afterwards. When her... Read review

Night and Day - a Manchester Institution
Review of Night and Day Café by  fizzytom

Advantages: Easy to get to, an independent venue, nice size for gigs
Disadvantages: Food a bit boring, poor layout

...a soft drink. I would much rather go to an interesting unique and quirky venue such as the Night and Day Café in Manchester - a little independent place that serves up what it likes and isn't another faceless chain venue. CCTV Day & Night Perfect Vision From Swann
Review of Swann Colour Day/Night Waterproof Super Infra Red CCD Camera by  penguin1052

Advantages: Full Night Vision Plus Great Day Vision
Disadvantages: Slight Glow At Night, Slightly Larger Than Some

...PICTURE QUALITY Having a CCD (basically a high quality lens with more TV lines than a CMOS lens, which is just lower quality) lens makes this camera have a superb picture quality. The range is dependant upon the light level and shadows etc. For example you could point it at the sky at night and it will see the stars, but point at a car at the end of your road it’ll probably see the car (distance depending) but it probably won’t make out the registration. However if you had this camera above a door you’d get a great face image of any intruder or visitor and likewise you could put it above the average driveway of a house and clearly read a registration from say five meters away. FEATURES OF THE CAMERA This is where the clever bit comes in. It’s long been known that a colour camera will give you a much better picture during the day... Read review

More like 3 Days of Night really.
Review of 30 Days Of Night DVD by  richb90

Advantages: Vampires are scary, originalish ending, Mark Boone Jr... ermm.....
Disadvantages: Generally run of the mill, predictable, cliched etc.

...I thought this movie looked like a kind of vampire based cross between The Thing, 28 days Later and Ghosts of Mars but this didn't quite turn out to be the case. *Caution - contains some spoilers* The story starts as 30 days of arctic 'night' are just about to begin in the isolated Alaskan town of Barrow. As people leave to avoid the oncoming darkness the town's population shrinks from over 500 to 152 the local sheriff Eben Oleson (Josh Hartnett) is called to investigate a series of unusual crimes. Sled dogs being killed, mobile phones destroyed and the local helicopter being sabotaged (at which point the frustrated pilot throws something into the town's crushing machine and you just know someone is going to have to fall into later… and predictably does!). It shouldn't take a genius to realise the connection is any communication... Read review

A Really good day's Night
Review of Hard Day's Night, A - Beatles (The) by  nigelpm

Advantages: every track is great
Disadvantages: may not appeal if you dislike early Beatles

...In my opinion this the one of the best Beatles albums and certainly the best up until it was created in 1964. It is also the only album to include exclusively Lennon & McCartney songs. Lennon wrote or co-wrote 10 of the 13 songs. On top of this it is the soundtrack to their first legendary movie 'A Hard Day's Night'. 1. A Hard Day's Night - This was their 7th single and 6th consecutive No. 1. It's a great way to start the album as it begins by struggling you with its impressive opening electric guitar chord, and later puts you into the deepest musical trance full of speed, with its up-tempo structure and piano solo. 2. I Should Have Known Better - This is a lennon track with a flowing beat. 3. If I Fell - This was written by John Lennon and recorded by Lennon/McCartney. The vocals... Read review
