Reviews of day oil
GHD Iron OIl doesnt give you a great hair day!
Review of GHD Iron Oil by
pinkribbon
Advantages: Smooth, sleek, conditioned straight hair for one day!
Disadvantages: Awful overpowering smell, expensive, messy, makes hair greasy quicker
...I bought a pair of straighteners and received a free bottle of GHD iron oil with it; I was extremely pleased as I didn't have to pay £10-15 just to try it out.
The black bottle looks great and you do feel like you are using an exquisite product and even more so by the entire buzz surrounding their popular hair straighteners.
The product says that is a "Oil-free', so why they stated it is an oil is something which has baffled me, but I guess if it mimics the benefits of using oil during styling, especially where heat is involved, without the oiliness (which is not something many people aspire to have) then that is my guess.
It recommends that each section of dry hair should be lightly sprayed with the mist prior to using your straighteners:
I found this to be very time consuming, as you spray each section, then straighten...

GHD Iron Oil good hair days forever!
Review of GHD Iron Oil by
loulee25
Advantages: Does what it says!
Disadvantages: Can leave hair greasy looking if you use too much.
...I have battled with my frizzy thick hair for years and have spent a fortune on products that claim to give me sleek, smooth and shiny hair. Noneof these have ever worked, until now.
My hairdresser introduced me to GhD Iron Oil and I thought it was fantastic. At £13.45 for 250ml I thought it was rather pricey, but loved the results of my hair at the hairdressers. Even though I didn't own the GHD irons I decided to treat myself anyway. I used the product on wet hair before styling and saw a huge change in my hair.
I have since purchased the GHD irons and my hair is now sleek, smooth, shiny and wonderfully straight. The iron oil protects your hair from the intense heat from the irons and keeps it straight and shiny for days. It only has one down fall and that is if you use too much it can leave your hair looking a bit greasy instead...

So Energetic throughout the whole day!!!
Review of Seven Seas One-A-Day Cod Liver Oil Plus Multivitamins by
Jadsq
Advantages: Feeling Energetic and Healthy! Most likely to benefit if you have a hectic lifestyle!
Disadvantages: Expensive and... Poor Cod... :(
...Firstly, this product is contained in a cylindrical plastic container with a screw on lid. The label is red, yellow and blue, just as shown on the picture. It has a seal - written on it is 'Quality Control Guaranteed - Seal of Quality'. Promising, since this product is of good quality. Hard to describe why but I guess Seven Seas is well known for it's high quality... Maybe this adds to the effectiveness of the product (sort of placebo-like). The capsules themselves are black and shiny.
Seven Seas, One-A-Day Pure Cod Liver Oil plus Multivitamins is described on the packaging to contain the recommended daily allowance (RDA) intake of Vitamins A,D,E,C,B1,B2,B6,12 as well as Niacin, Folic Acid and Biotin. The other important ingredients include Cod Liver Oil, Omega 3 nutrients providing EPA and DHA at unestablished RDA levels and Biotin...

Bio Oil
Review of Bio-Oil Face Cream by
just.bcoz
Advantages: Reduces stretchmarks, uneven skin tone, scars etc
Disadvantages: A little bit expensive but worth it
...I have been using Bio Oil twice a day for the last six months and I am amazed at the results. I had never heard of Bio Oil before until my mum bought me a bottle, she bought me a bottle of it because I was forever complaining about the appearance of the stretch marks I have on my belly and boobs.
My stretch marks started appearing at the age of seventeen when I was pregnant my son and I'm now twenty two. So for the last five years I have been really embarrassed by the look of them because they were bright purple and clearly visible. I was convinced that the stretch marks would always remain the same colour and never fade, I even nicknamed my stretch marked belly, I call it my Freddie Crougar belly.
Bio Oil is an oil based substance which can be used to treat and reduce the appearance of skin problems such as scars stretch marks...

Castor oil as a skin cleanser (OCM)
Review of Castor Oil by
8ofspades
Advantages: Cheap, great for your health, natural, can adjust quantities in skin care
Disadvantages: None really - some people may be sensitive to it, but it's rare
...to suit you. With any cleanser you buy on the market you can't adjust it if your skin changes. One day you'll be using a product that's worked for your skin for weeks, then the next you'll wake up and it irritates your skin. With this method, if you find your skin changes for whatever reason, you can merely adjust the quantities to suit how your skin is at that time.
+ Secondly, you know exactly what goes in it because you put it there! You can always buy organic oils and make an organic version. You can add various essential oils (please read the directions & warnings on the bottle, and make sure you know what you're doing before using essential oils otherwise they can cause more harm than good!) to suit you!
+ It's great value for money! I use extra virgin olive oil all the time in cookery anyway, so I just use some of that, and the basic...

That lovely oil!
Review of Bertolli Olive Oil by
mcchicken
Advantages: Its versatility and its history.
Disadvantages: none that i can find.
...'t find the kinds of food and wine they were used to.
After nearly 150 years, the Italian heart of BERTOLLI continues to beat. Not only is all the olive oil produced by BERTOLLI bottled in Italy, but supervision of the entire process, international management and product control takes place at the BERTOLLI Brand Development Centre in Inveruno, near Milan.
uses
I use olive oil for all my frying, even fried eggs. At first, eggs can taste a little strange fried in olive oil if you are not used to it, but the flavours are brought out very well. We eat fried eggs on toast most days for breakfast. I don't really notice the taste of olive oil now unless it's missing. It adds a lovely Italian flavour to anything I'm cooking.
Onions fry particularly well in olive oil if you add a tiny knob of butter to the olive oil and cook them gently...

The Secret Is In The Ingredients... Bio-Oil
Review of Bio-Oil Face Cream by
grown_up_girlie
Advantages: It really does work, perfect for anyone of any age, smells lovely.
Disadvantages: Slightly over priced.
...looks soft and supple that's not to mention the lovely linger you have on the tip of your nose from the added collection of naturals oils.
There is no limit as to how many times a day you can apply this oil as it's totally natural. I tend to use it morning and evening although in the beginning I would apply it more frequently to my scars.
As I find, Bio-Oil isn't just another beauty product on the shop shelf nor is it another beauty product that claims to do something that in fact it doesn't actually do.
For scars:
I apply a small drop to my scars once or twice daily and have done for the last 3 months and the difference in the appearance and size of my scars is quite dramatic. It doesn't matter if your scars are new or old ones although it is advisable that if you use this as soon as a wound has closed up...

Tea Tree Oil The eighth wonder of the world
Review of Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil by
MagicWend
Advantages: Multiskilling.
Disadvantages: Price
...with injuries, every time he escapes to go after a particularly fine looking bitch. Having had him to the vets on numerous occasions to have him stitched back up again, and paying an absolute fortune for crappy antibiotics that I don’t believe in, and won’t give him, I decided to bathe his wounds with a solution of Tea Tree oil and warm water. The results are amazing and he heals within ten days.
Nowadays I don’t bother taking him to the vet any more (Last time I took him, it cost me £96 to get his upper right carnassial tooth removed, due to his preponderance for sweets and chewing tree trunks) I now treat the most hideous cringe-making wounds with neat tea tree oil, literally dripped into the wound neat, and he still heals within ten days.
No way am I recommending that you do this to your dog though, as he will probably...

Review of Bio-Oil Face Cream by
wellibelli
Advantages: lots of uses, it works.....
Disadvantages: not the cheapest.
...I first started using bio oil when i became pregnant....I was totally petrified of getting stretchmarks, and after spotting a few adverts in pregnancy mags for bio oil, i gave it ago....i just wanted to avoid stretchmarks, no matter what.... Well i didn't get a single stretchmark and now i'm not pregnant, but i still use this great little bottle of skin therapy!!! This really is an amazing product that does work......so what is it.....well as the name suggests it's an oil!! Don't need to be sherlock to figure that one out!!! It comes in a clear bottle with a white cap, and the liquid inside looks a kind of peachy/pinky colour!!!
There are many uses for bio oil...
1 - To prevent stretch marks (ideal for pregnant ladies!!!) like i said i used it during my pregnancy, and didn't have a stretchmark in sight. I used it every day from...
