...Answering her critics who call her a man hater, on 'Under Rug Swept' Alanis displays a new maturity. Yes, she sings about failed relationships and egotistical men, but she also likes men as difficult as men find that it to believe that! The general tone of the CD is upbeat, although tracks 4 and 7 are slower and more melancholy/pensive. Even the songs that are bitter or sad have a certain calm strength to them rather than a vindictive air a la 'Jagged Little Pill'. Alanis has moved on and grown up, although the past still affects her ('flinch'). Most people know Alanis Morissette from her debut album 'Jagged Little Pill'(1995). ...I was browsing the shelves at my local HMV, when I spied this CD; the cover was a gorgeous aqua-blue, with an image of our world centred on the front. Surrounding it was images of several Disney characters, including some of my favourites; Simba, Minnie and Mickey, Buzz Light-year and a selection of others. I picked it up and was shocked at how thick the case was! Turning it over, I noticed that this 3-CD option was jammed packed with seventy five marvellous Disney hits! And to make it even more exciting, this treasure was only £9.95! I simply could not wait any longer to purchase it! ...It's every kid's fantasy to take a trip to Disney World and every parent's fantasy to be able to take them there. I will say from the start that Disney definately isn't for everyone - cynics of the Disney culture and it's almost sickly sweet way of making your hand dig deeper in your pocket will not be converted. In fact, if you do not go with the attitude of taking Disney at face value or the pleasure you will get from seeing your children's faces light up then it is not worth going at all. However If, like me, you are a big kid at heart and have enjoyed all things Disney you have encountered before then be prepared to be amazed. As I watch the clouds gather for the regular July afternoon thundershower I am mindful of the many happy vacations I have spent in Disneyworld, Florida, over the last 25 years. I first wrote about Disney Vacation Club (DVC) over three years ago. The article was archived and until recently there has not been a category for this interesting and fascinating holiday resource. I intend to add an article shortly about this latest resort and spa. As it is part of the DVC family I have rewritten and updated the original article to reflect today's prices and experiences. ...Introduction ~~ You've wanted to go for years, you've seen it on holiday programmes and would just love to picture yourself right there in Florida at one of the Disney Parks being scared to life on a magnificent "bigger and better" theme park ride. Or if that's not you're thing strolling around one of the many, many mini-countries in Epcot. Whatever you enjoy and like its there at Disney, Orlando, Florida. The first Disney theme park; Disney land was built in the 1950's in California. However the biggest Disney park and newest is in Florida and as you've probably heard is called Disneyworld. Disneyworld is made up of four different parks; Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. Advantages: Convenient for seeing Disney attractions, affordable, extended park hours just for Disney resort guests
Disadvantages: No ghosts, parking lot kind of far from rooms, those evil little lanyard pins

...When the St. Augustine leg of our Florida trip ended, Russell and I went straight to Kissimmee and checked in at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort. The All-Star resorts are the budget lodgings Disney World offers its visitors, but gives their guests good value for their money. For people going to Orlando to see the Disney attractions, I recommend staying at any one of the Disney resorts for that portion of their visit. The perks that come with staying "on campus" outweigh what appears to be outrageous room rates. For anyone who is trying to keep expenses down on their visit, this resort is the way to go. PLANNING AND ARRIVING Since this was the Russell portion of the trip, I let him make the arrangements. ...::::: What is the Cheyenne Hotel::::: The Disney's Hotel Cheyenne is a wild west based theme hotel. It is made to look as if it is in the wild west, with horses, cowboys etc. You've seen all the movies. It does look real, and every detail has been put in to make it look "wild west". The main reception building, where the restaurant is, and other hotel buildings surrounding it have funky wild west writing on the sides of the buildings which says things like "Saloon" "Jail" and "Billy The Kid". This is a good idea, not the names of each hotel building but gives the hotel that extra feel of the hotel area. There are around 10 different hotel blocks, each separated. The main building is where most people go at breakfast, at dinner if they choose to eat there, or when they check in, or out. This is a good place to meet as a meeting point... Read review

...I opened up the travel section, of the local paper last autumn and couldn't believe my eyes. A quarter page advertisement for Walt Disney World. It stated "Florida residents enjoy a neighbourly rate this fall. Value resorts from $49 per night. Call your Disney Travel Planner at 407-939-1305." At the bottom it had the 'small fine print'. I showed it to my husband, and then phoned the number. A really nice young lady answered all my questions. Len and I had a choice to go to either the 'All-Star Music Resort', or the 'All-Star Sports Resort'. I love music and dancing so it was a really easy choice for me. She took my booking over the telephone, gave me a reservation number. Told me the full total including taxes, and asked for a credit card for the deposit of 1 nights accommodation. ...What is it? The Disney Village Marketplace at Walt Disney World (WDW) in Florida forms part of the Downtown Disney area which is the place to head for shopping, dining and nightlife in WDW. Disney Village at Walt Disney World in Florida is one of the best place to shop in WDW. The Disney Village (known as the Marketplace) offers a brilliant range of Disney shops and is free to enter. It is completely accessible to people in wheelchairs and Opening times: The shops are open from Sunday to Thursday between 9.30am and 11pm and on Fridays and Saturdays between 9.30am and 11.30pm. When is the best time to go? It is a great place to head for if it's raining but lots of other people will have also had the same idea!
