...This was a purchase borne out of deparation as my regular dog-groomer retired and I just didn't have the time or skills to handstrip my two Border Terriers.The dogs are well loved pets, not show dogs who are always hand-stripped. The Wahl Clipper has easy to read instructions with variable blade settings and attachments suitable for many types of dog hair.This makes it ideal for the novice who wants a tidy looking dog in good coat, whatever type of coat the dog has. Very easy to handle and manoeuvre the Wahl Clipper is easy to clean and maintain. Noise and vibration is minimal which the dogs found comfortable even around 'difficult' areas. Never buy a dry-clean only dog coat

...My dog hates the rain and point blank refuses to leave the house when it is pouring down. She had a coat which after a while began to develop holes and rips from her diving in and out of bushes. She needed a new coat as living in Scotland it rains about 349 days of the year. I went down to the local pet shop and spotted it, the Burberry Thornproof. It was perfect in every way. The colour suited her being half golden lab and thornproof conjured images of a coat not being destroyed on the first branch. It was also quite sutble not too much Burberry check on it. But silly me I had'nt thought to look at the washing instructions. Its a dog coat after all surely the washing should be designed to take into account that dogs are messy animals who take great delight in getting down and dirty. The coat is dry clean only!!!!!
