Ok, I Am Mad, But I Must Have Been Craaaazy
Review of Boss 6 Drawer Compact Seatbox by
BJEEE
Advantages: Sturdy, well made, comfortable blah blah blah
Disadvantages: Pricey...but thats it.
...).
The BOSS box, since the humble company beginnings around 10 years (ish) ago, hasn’t actually changed much. The boxes basically look the same, are made to the same exceptionally high standards, and prices haven’t really changed *that* much.
Every angler has different needs (Yep, it true!! We don’t all just sit there doing exactly the same thing). Companies like BOSS obviously understand this and their range of products is set out to give the anglers what they need. For example, my box has: (I’ll explain all of this in a bit more detail in a minute).
• A pole seat
• Winder Tray
• 6 Drawers – 4 shallow (25 mm deep), 2 deep (50 mm deep)
• 2 intermediate trays (approx. 60 mm each)
• A shallow fibreglass base (90 mm)
• Aluminium footplate
• 6 Mudfeet (inc...

▼ My Drawers are See Through ▼
Review of NEFF K 4255 X1 by
susie191
Advantages: See through drawers 50:50 fridge freezer, cool top, cold bottom.
Disadvantages: Built in means you lose some capacity.
...through drawers.
▼▲ A Cool Top ▼▲
The 50/50 Fridge Freezer model is a built in appliance so it is all behind two closed doors and is therefore nicely hidden away. The fridge is on the top which is in my opinion the right way round. I only occasionally open the freezer but am always getting milk or whatever from the fridge. This saves a lot of bending. The doors can be hinged either on the left or right of the appliance. Ours hinge on the left.
When you open the the fridge door you are faced with a decent sized interior; it has 151 litres useable capacity. There are plenty of shelves and mini shelves in the door which can be repositioned to suit the way you stack your fridge contents. There are two see through salad drawers at the bottom of the fridge allowing you easy viewing of what is inside them. One...

Glued Teeth and Psychotic Cash Drawers
Review of Top 5 Childhood Memories by
shorn_the_sheep
Advantages: I get to chuckle at all my childhood silliness
Disadvantages: I also get to cringe at all my childhood silliness
...what? She didn’t! I left the dog’s tooth under my pillow that night, and in the morning there was a shiny bright 50p waiting for me. I felt justified in my tantrum, and my mum was just glad I’d stopped screaming.
Now, if only someone had told me the truth about the tooth fairy sooner, they could have saved an awful lot of fuss!!
THE ONE WITH THE KILLER CASH DRAWER:
Anyone who has ever seen the till in Open All Hours will find this story very familiar. When I was five, my parents purchased a grocery store, which we lived above. During the school holidays, because I didn’t want to stay in the flat on my own, I was allowed down into the shop to fill shelves, trip up customers and generally make a nuisance of myself. My parents didn’t mind me being there, as long as I followed the rules, of which there were two. Rule one was don...

Night night sleep tight
Review of Slumberland drawer master bed by
mumsymary
Advantages: A good nights sleep
Disadvantages: none
...Slumberland.
Night night sleep tight mind the bed bugs don’t bite ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
My husband and I sleep on a slumberland bed. We bought it about 18 months ago. There are a variety of different slumberland beds and mattresses ours is the one shown here I think. Our bed is a king size it is also available in double or super king. We bought it from Benson beds. R R P is over £899We also bought ours in sale somewhere between £400 and£500 I notice in the sale today its £389 Slumberland beds are quite easy to find from other retailers.
Our bed has a blue check design. It is a mattress on a 4-drawer divan base. The draws are a good size and seem quite strong, I keep spare bedding in ours.
Bensons delivered our bed, neighbours let them in while we were at work, and they left our bed at the bottom of the stairs...

BOTTOMS STILL FALLING OUT OF MY DRAWERS
Review of Unibond No More Nails by
mr-zeeman
Advantages: IT'S CHEAPER THAN A HAMMER
Disadvantages: IT'S USELESS FOR 'AWKWARD' ITEMS SUCH AS DRAWER-BOTTOMS
...The TV advert had lodged itself in my memory bank ... a chap sitting on a chair which was, for some unexplained reason, suspended half way up a wall ~ thanks to the extraordinary sticking power of UniBond's NO MORE NAILS.
Well the DIY job which I had in mind didn't include any gravity-defying stunts involving items of furniture ~ I merely wanted to replace the bottoms of some old drawers in a 'chest-of-drawers'.
Now this particular item of furniture doesn't bear the quality hallmarks of Waring and Gillow craftsmanship ~ in fact it is perhaps most kindly described as "cheap, wobbly, mass-produced, pine-effect tat". But it IS useful. I had never attempted repairs of this sort before, but I felt confident that even a novice could deal with something so seemingly straight-forward.
Over the years the drawers had carried a fair weight...

Hotpoint HDR 190 Drawer Fridge
Review of Hotpoint HDR190I by
skwirrel
Advantages: Looks great, Quiet, Can see all contents
Disadvantages: Too expensive, No interior light????, Quality control suspect
...Just bought this fridge, didn't realise it was built in Italy or I woulndn't have bothered as I know the cars they build are all looks and very tinny and unreliable. £800 for a fridge inc. the drawer fronts and you dont even get a light inside the bloody thing. Just taken me 2 nights to set this up straight as the drawer fronts were warped and would not adjust up properly. Had to pack them with cardboard to make them line up. Out of the box the drawers were badly misaligned and one adjuster was not fitted correctly so the attention to quality control at the factory is not up to much.
It looks great fitted but it is definatly not worth the money so if you want my advice pls consider all options before going for this model.
Good points:
1 Looks great
2 Allows more worktop area than an upright fridge and can see contents better
3 Quiet...
