...--- Background: --- N.E.R.D is an acronym for the band's basic belief that "No-one Ever Really Dies". Having reformed this year, the band has come back with a massive mix of different musical styles and influences ranging from jazz to hip-hop, rap, soul and rock. Evidently lead singer Pharell Williams has noticed this, saying "We didn't care about genres; we're not doing this for the money." According to drummer Shay Haley, the album is named after the neurological phenomenon that is synesthesia. This is something that I myself actually have, and is when a person sees music, letters or words as colours. Advantages: Great acting, brilliant storylines, still gripping

...be boring to read, I'll write an overall impression of the season, as well as speak about the major storylines that featured in this dramatic season. The most dramatic storyline in the history of E.R has to be the stabbings of Doctor John Carter and Medical Student Lucy Knight, the former survived and the latter sadly died. This storyline happened in Season 6, but the fallout passes through into season 7 as well. It's a prominent theme relating to Carter throughout this season, as he is tackling a drug addiction which occured after his stabbing. In fact, the whole season begins by showing us Carter in a drug rehab centre for Doctors in Atlanta. The subsequent storyline during the season of Carter being monitored by all of the ER staff, not being allowed to partake in traumas and his recovery is widely covered through the 7th season... ...While not being quite as good as I had hoped after reading some initial reviews of the game, S.T.A.L.K.E.R is still well worth a look. Set in the area surrounding the Chernobyl power plant, the game has you exploring the radiation-filled 'Zone' in an attempt to find out its secrets, while battling the different factions, army troops and mutants that inhabit it. The story of the game is fairly intriguing, and without giving too much away, there are multiple endings to the game depending on whether the player follows the main plot or not, and also on the player's rating at the end of the game. Throughout the game you are given missions by the NPCs that you meet, some of which are related to the story of the game, and others which you can choose whether you want to do them or not. Advantages: Big and open, with amazing graphics and sound
Disadvantages: Enemy AI a bit too good, making the game VERY difficult

...When you first start playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R, it seem to be a simple first person shooter. The controls are the same as you would expect, and you set out on your first mission. You speak to a few people, find out where your target is, and then head off. You find some allies, and start to assault a compound. You sneak up through the trees, matching the pace of your allies. Shots break out - some of you have been spotted. A full gun fight erupts. They see you. Bullets fly past. You return fire, running for cover. Then, you die. That is the point you realise that this is not a normal FPS, but a true strategic game, where the guns work properly and stealth is key. The graphics, if you have a suitably powerful machine, are excellent, with weather and storms effecting the lighting and mood of the game. The sound is also excellent... Read review

I know it had been touted since May 2005, but I didn't get it until this summer, but my understanding is it didn't get released until early this year, but I don't know how accurate this information is. I really wasn't sure what to expect when I first began playing this game. I knew little about it, other than it was a first person shooter style. I love it!
