Switchback plus Brilliant luggage
Review of Eagle Creek Switchback-Plus L by  denise.parry

Advantages: Versatile, Very accurate marketing by company,
Disadvantages: Have to search the Uk to find stackists. Can buy online but I have not tried this yet.

...Calling all travellers, have you heard about Eagle Creek. The product is even better than the company says. I didnt choose this product it chose me as winner in a competition. It is by far the best, most versatile product i have ever owned. As a dedicated Samsonite user up until now I just have to sing the praises of Eagle Creek. I recently took this item through the jungles of Venezuela a tough test for any luggage. The Switchback stood up brilliantly. Waterproof, dustproof, brilliant styling, strong and yet very lightweight. The product is like a "Tardis" hidden pockets some with zips, all over the place. My husband and I managed to get all items for 3 changes daily 2 people 2 weeks into this item and there was still room for a few more. ( we like to travel light- not). The extending handle is sturdy and even locks away when... Read review

Pack-it Up and Start Again
Review of Eagle Creek Pack-It Cubes by  koshkha

Advantages: Tidy way to pack
Disadvantages: none that I know of

...OK, I wasn't sure how you'd all react to the Pack-It Folder I reviewed recently but it looks like I've struck a rich seam of travel angst in Ciaoland. We love our holidays - we don't like packing. So here is the follow up to the Eagle Creek Pack-it Folder - drum roll………. the Eagle Creek Pack-it Cube. A product so simple you'll wonder why you don't already have half a dozen (or if you do, you'll wonder why your friends and family didn't steal them all). The Principle of Pack-It ******************** The basic idea of the Pack-it system is that you can squeeze more into your luggage if you are loading regularly shaped blocks. And because the blocks are soft, they'll squidge a bit to maximise your space utilisation and they'll also compress your gear gently without messing it all up. What's a Pack-It Cube? ********************* A cube, put... Read review

Pack it in, mate.
Review of Eagle Creek Pack-It Folder by  koshkha

Advantages: Crease free travel friends
Disadvantages: I keep losing the boards.

...the Americanism). Since others may hate packing as much as I do - or even love it and still want to love it even more, I have decided to share with you my favourite product that helps me to deal with the hatred of packing. That product is the Eagle Creek Pack-it Folder. And if I get round to it, this review will shortly be followed by the Eagle Creek Pack-it Cube. Together, these two gizmos keep me (questionably) sane when travelling. What is the Eagle Creek Pack-It Folder? ******************************** First things first. It's called a folder because you use it to fold things not like a folder that you keep your paperwork in - no hole punch required. I would call it a folding system - a way of keeping your skirts, trousers, skirts and anything likely to crease or wrinkle in tip-top condition whilst they are in your luggage. The system consists... Navarone - the epic book
Review of The Guns Of Navarone - Alistair MacLean by  mrtimharry

Advantages: Attention to detail brings you right into the book
Disadvantages: None

...A classic piece of fiction from one of the all time masters of the action fiction novel. MacLean in my opinion never wrote a bad novel and this rates in my top five by the same author, alongside San Andreas, Last Frontier, Where Eagles Dare and Fear is the Key. I guess most people will have seen the film with Peck, Niven and Quinn, and let me start by saying that in reading this book you will not be disappointed. If anything the books is even better than the film. Set during the Second World War, Germany is recovering its possessions in the East Med, and making a big show of it to entice Turkey to enter the war on the side of the Axis powers. One last Island remains to be captured, an island held by several thousand allied troops who were in line for the slaughter. The Royal Navy was prepared to enact a rescue but they knew... mud pots ,bears and geysers
Review of Yellowstone by  anwar

Advantages: See review
Disadvantages: crowds in summer,insects

...a visit we hated the crowds. One of our favourite areas was the Hayden valley. This is a plateau in the centre of the park close to the Yellowstone river .It is a good area to see wildlife and is home to a large number of bison and elk. We were fortunate to see a bald eagle here, a truly beautiful sight! The Lamar valley I have left the best for last! This area is nicknamed the Serengeti of Yellowstone. If like us you want to experience wildlife without the crowds, then this is the area for you. A few miles from our campsite is one of the finest wolf watching areas in the world. Wolves were re introduced into Yellowstone about 10 years ago and their numbers have been increasing ever since. Every evening dedicated wolf spotters gather on the hillside near slough creek to watch for wolves through their spotting scopes. One evening... Read review

The best drama you could ever wish for
Review of Channel 4 - Dawson's Creek by  catherine_laura_2000

Advantages: Deals with real life issues
Disadvantages: Language used by characters is sometimes extreame

...The thing i like most about Dawson's Creek is that it deals with everyday issues of teenage life. Recently it has dealt with three totally different issues which were: 1) the dramatic consequences of a love triangle 2) divorce and how it affects teenagers lives 3) how teenagers cope with realising that they are gay I think this programme would be enjoyed by all teenagers. My favourite character is Pacey. I admire him for understanding and sticking by all his friends no matter what the situation is. The language used in Dawson's Creek is sometimes very sophisticated and is not language that is used by everyday teenagers and that is the only difference, i think, between real life and life in dawsons creek.... Not worth the money
Review of Channel 4 - Dawson's Creek by  chocybox

Advantages: roughly tells me what happened by me reading between the lines
Disadvantages: everything, really. Not really what I wanted from series 1 and 2 videos

...PURELY FOR THE VIDEO OF DAWSON'S CREEK, NOT THE PROGRAMME I am a massive, but recent, Dawson’s Creek fan, and have only watched a few episodes of the first and second series (repests), but all of the current series. I asked for the Dawson’s creek series on and two videos for my birthday, hoping to be filled in about the pasts of the characters. The videos, to my dissapointment, had only two episodes chosen from each series on each, lasting only 95 mins each. How am I supposed to ever watch all the episodes now?! I was quite dissapointed, and considering the money, expected more. Never mind, I’ll just have to fill in what I think happened in my mind!... Read review

Feel the Spirit that Cannot be Broken
Review of Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron (Animated) by  Nuradnan

Advantages: Nice picture, beautiful music and soundtracks, amazing Western adventure, beautiful story
Disadvantages: (A bit) humanized horse behavior, lack of jokes

.... Finally, I bought this movie. I watched it. Wow, the opening was incredible. An eagle was flying across a valley. Amazing. The details were awesome. When I saw this opening, immediately was sure that this is a great movie. And that is true. You have to see the spectacular opening. I am so impressed with the picture. Nice. Yes, it is not 3-D computer animation, but it is so soft. The texture is so, um, wonderful. The movements are so natural. The horse' s movements are so realistic. But what I like most is the flying eagle' s, so accurate. You have to watch it. Then how about the story? This movie is a drama. The story is so beautiful. There are some scenes that make my heart weighed. But it is not because I am sad; it is because, well, I do not know. But I am sure it is not because I am sad. This is not a sad movie. This is a movie about... Read review

Tiger would, wood you?
Review of Tiger Woods 2004 (Xbox) by  woodywoodpecker

Advantages: fun to play, easy to learn, anyone can have a go
Disadvantages: Difficult to complete fully

...unlikely. I mean, a double eagle on a par 4 (also known as an albatross, but the game calls them double eagles), is 3 under par, so you technically should recieve a 'My First Double Eagle' trophy ball if you get a hole in one on a par 4. However, the game records numerous statistics attributed to your created player, and with both hole in ones and double eagles being there, it needs to find a way of accommodating one score into one of the two categories. Therefore, the only way that you can score a double eagle is a very demanding, but very fun to try, 2 strokes on a par 5. Taking away the pressure of actually playing in a real tournament with people surrounding you, there are various scenarios in which you are able to take place (31 I think, I'd need to look again just to make sure, but i'm quietly confident), which you may well find some... Save your jukebox money – there’s not a bad track on this album
Review of Very Best Of The Eagles, The - Eagles (Rock) (The) by  toneboy7

Advantages: Not a bad track on the album
Disadvantages: Trying to sing along with Don Henley’s high notes

...When I initially went away to University like many other people I found myself going to a pub on a regular basis. Before long I was listening to Eagles records on a regular basis, and before long I myself was spending my grant on that pub jukebox and a selection of Eagles records. Before the end of that year I had bought the CD, and I’ve never regretted. I still play it regularly, some six years later. It features such classic songs as “Hotel California”, “Take It To The Limit” and “Lyin’ Eyes”. The number of people (young or old) who know Eagles songs is incredible, and so for a gathering of friends it is always an ideal choice. In saying that trying to sing along with Don Henley might result in pain an embarrassment! Still great to listen to – a truly classic album.... Read review
