I won't go into the history of the museum because frankly, I don't know much about it. Where is it? ****************************************************** The East Anglian Railway Museum is situated in Chappel & Wakes Colne Station, near Colchester in Essex. This means that you can hop off the train and walk straight onto the site (but remember to purchase a ticket first). They claim to be "the only railway museum in Colchester", but, as the museum is not in Colchester, I do not see the point of them using this slogan. Advantages: Conveniently located close to Orlando International Airport

...Guard certified and ear defenders are handed out at the start of the tour and must be worn at all times. Tours take place every 30 minutes, but are popular. Try to arrive early or later in the afternoon to avoid long wait times. Prior to arriving remember to spray yourself with insect repellant or you may end up looking like a pin cushion. Also be sure to pick a discount voucher booklet which usually feature a saving for Boggy Creek (these can be found in many restaurants in tourist areas). Prices are quite high for a half hour diversion - $21.95 for Adults and $15.95 for Children, but the experience is worth it. ...Sugar Mill Ponds are located just outside the Village of Rawcliffe Bridge, about five miles to the West of Goole, in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This site covers an area of approximately twenty five acres and is one of the finest examples that I have seen of a former area of unsightly Industrial wasteland transformed into a tranquil, picturesque haven for Wildlife. This site is now a designated Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and is owned by Croda Chemicals Ltd. Access to the site is completely free and there are good footpaths around the Ponds and also along a section of the Canal. The site is quite compact and dominated by two large Ponds.
